Ugh - subjects where you have to work!

 

Compared to the Engineering subjects, they'll be an absolute breeze.

But engineering subjects can't be all bad ... how else do the enginerring students learn how to hoist trollies up tall trees outside the colleges? You can't tell me it's just the vast quantities of alcohol they've consumed!

 

I did Intro to International Relations, it was quite good. If you did Modern History at school you shouldn't have any problems. Also, if you need a textbook...

I'm only doing three subjects. Currently:

ENGL3 something or other: Research Methods
ENGL2 whatever: Romanticism
And maybe HIST1 something: History of the Future, if Kit' doesn't mind me stealing her idea.

Well...the bitchin UQ sinet crap thing finally let me enrol this morning, it is freakin darn slow.

These are mine:
POLS1301 Political ideologies
POLS1201 Intro to International Relations (because i failed last time)
ECON1010 Micro Econ (Yeah I know I've dont his before so what )
ECON1120 Economics of social issues

So it looks like i'll be seeing yuopu around next semester jediguy And hopefully I wont fail any of these subjects again If i do i'll blame the ever-present patriarchy (whoever that is)

 

Has anyone else read the thing about our union fees and the GST? They have to refund all the GST they've charged us (the tax office ruled that it was GST exempt). I think it was semester 2 2001 that they started charging. You have to request it though, so make sure you look into it.

EDIT: Just checked, it's actually from 1 July 2000!

 

I know. The Union has been cheating students since the GST came about. Thank God for a change in administration eh

Well it's the night before uni starts and I'm still trying to pick my last subject. Yesterday I realised the one I chosen was one I'd done before . Anyway, in my travels I came across "History of Erotic Narrative". What?

Btw, anyone have any suggestions for subjects?
