San Fran, CA URGENT!!! VOTE FOR THE T SHIRT LOGO!!!

I'd vote for #1 if the space between San & Francisco can be tightented a bit (Rule of thumb is the width of a lowercase l in the chosen font should be the space that's between words.)

Quick totorial on how to do that in photoshop:

1) Put your cursor in the space between the words.
2) open your "character" pallet. The third window down from the left has an A|V symbol. There you can choose - (negative) whatever number you want (you can type in values).
3) keep decreasing the space until it looks about the width of maybe an uppercase I in that font (since it doesn't have lowercase L's).

Otherwise I vote for #2.

Im too tired to go back and give it a black background, but if you stare at it for 45 seconds and look at a black piece of paper it will give you an idea of what it looks like behind a black background.




...watch someone actually goes and trys that...

One more nit-pick (don't kill me!)

I'd add some positive kerning space between the CI in Francisco. They are so close to touching that from a distance it may look like a backwards D

The A could be a hair closer to the S in San, but that's not as major as the C & I colliding. F & R could use a touch more space but are the least offender. Sorry, I just noticed it since higher res version was posted.

It's OK when letters like the I & S connect. It's called a ligature and doesn't harm the readability of the letters.

I think it's great that the red looks just as readable on white as it does on black. That way it can be used on business cards and a variety of other things! I really like this new version of the Logo. It looks very starwarsy, and I like the was San Francisco stands out more!

Looks like voting is over, but I would have voted for A as well... sorry, but things have been hectic for me and I haven't had a chance to get on the boards much.

Great job on the new design though - I really like it that way!
