URL forwarding question

    Supposing I register a domain with Godaddy.com,

    I have a free web page at www.freewebs.com

    Can I just enter the URL that the domain should link to? Or do I need to give a DNS address ?


    I think freewebs dosen't allow you to forward a URL to a freewebs page or do they? If they don't which free web space provider allows this?

    If you buy a domain, I don't think there's a need for url forwarding.

    supposing i register www.darthsmiley.com and I have a page at http://www.freewebs.com/darthsmiley/

    how do i link one to the other?

    In the meta tags, you can put a code like this:

    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; url=http://www.freewebs.com/darthsmiley/">
