    There is a new book out about Star Wars fans by Will Brooker called Using the Force.. Creativity, Community, and Star Wars Fans. I just finished reading it and it was pretty interesting. Lots of quotes from the fanforce boards, star wars sites, and personal interviews. Of course it was written last summer and some of the conjectures about EP2 were waaay wrong, although some of them were right on.

    Check it out, it was a good read (especially the controversies surrounding EU v. Canon). If anyone wants to borrow it, I can bring it to the meeting on the 29th.
