And, TD-027 I haven't added you to the people count either as I wasn't sure what hours you are able to volunteer.

Here's the breakdown (keep in mind we've found in the past to effectively run this sale that 8 people seems to be the magic number).

    10am-11am - 7 people (set-up)
    11am-12pm - 7 people
    12pm-1pm - 8 people
    1pm-2pm - 6 people
    2pm-3pm - 7 people
    3pm-4pm - 8 people
    4pm-5pm - 7 people
    5pm-6pm - 6 people
    6pm-7pm - 5 people (tear-down)
    (updated 05/27 9:45pm)

    Current weather.com forecast: 30% chance showers 7am-12pm, 30% chance t-storms 4pm-9pm.

I got a call from the D&C this afternoon confirming how much we were selling the hot dogs for. So keep on the look out in tomorrow's paper (we can buy one right at Sam's actually) to see if they mention our sale. I just hope they aren't expecting costumes. [face_worried] When I sent out the press release back on 05/09 I attached a photo of Darth Maul talking to the customers...

I found the kid's meal bags from last time, so the first 20 kids who get a combo get a free goodie bag.

I will be there in the early afternoon and stay as late as I can... I will also bring my trooper costume in the car just in case :)

I know a certain Wookiee who is doing the same thing. ;)

Well, I just placed the order (again) for most of our food for tomorrow sale, there are a few things I still need to shop for, but this should hopefully save me a bunch of time in the morning that I usually spend running around the store shopping for everything.

Thanks everyone for all the time and energy volunteered for a non-Rebellion event. It was a long day, but we definitely sold a lot of hot dogs. I'll post the results once we get a chance to count up the cash box.

Sorry for the delay in getting these figures posted...

Overall, the sale made just under $1,000. We sold almost 675 hot dogs plus tons of drinks and chips. A check for $285 will be donated to Golisano Children's Hospital. And, The Rebellion's portion of the profits is a little over $75. We can move to this thread to discuss what we'd like to do with this money.
