I just got back from seeing this with my fam. It was very good. Didn't know till the end credits that our good friend Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith) played V.
It was obviously saying a lot politically, but that is for another discussion.

Yes this movie was good, Really you did not know that?
Was only reason i wanted to see it was because he and Natalie were both in it.

While not liking its political undertone, I thought it was the best movie I have seen since ROTS (that includes Narnia and King Kong). I spent the next four hours after the movie thinking about it. WOW!!!

Sorry I missed the showing, Darth Savatch is under the weather currently.
However, I will definately check it out once I am better. Hugo Weaving rocks, If only he'd been in Star Wars somewhere. He would have been in THREE great trilogies, just like Bruce Spence.

Smith: "Mister Skywalker, We meet at last."
Anakin: "What is it you want, Smith?"
Smith: "I want what you want, I want everything."
Mace: "Would that include a slash from my lightsaber?"
Smith: "Go ahead, do it. The best part about being me, there's so many of me."

(Hundreds of Smith emerge and begin battling Anakin, Mace and Obi-Wan, who is drinking heavily.)

Hey, possible fan film script there! (just kidding)

Hugo Weaving in white clone armor? I just don't think it would work.

However, he does look smashing in a Guy Fawkes mask. I just saw the movie last night. To borrow a phrase, it was kick-awesome. A good message and some cool action scenes....with knives! Totally sweet, I'd love to see the comics it was based off, even though Alan Moore dissociates himself from the movies based on his comics.

Anyway, Remember, remember, the 5th of November...

Most authors tend to shy away from the movies of which are based on their novels, Hollywood loves to alter things too much.
