JCC [Vacation]So I'm gonna be in Cali for three weeks starting March 16th

In n Out moved here like half a year ago, if not more. I was really excited to try them after all the hubbub but still haven't. The right day just hasn't come along. It's possible I'm over thinking this.

 

I had In n Out a year ago when I did my cross country road trip. It was alright as far a burgers go, but I don't really like burgers.

Do you guys have any Symphony halls? If so, what are they like?

We've got the Hollywood Bowl, which is awesome but I'm not sure when they start. There's a building that the LA Philharmonic performs in during winter that I'm not familiar with.

 

Hmm, looks like they have it at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Gonna have to try to take my girl to a concert while I'm there.

I was just at the Getty yesterday. Beautiful time, and very very interesting. Good people watching, great views, and great art.

Looks like I've got a date for the symphony on the 30th! It's going to be amazing. I haven't been to one since 09, and my last date wasn't even half as good looking as this one.

I would not be opposed to meeting up with a few of you at some point or another. Where exactly is the hood, PRENN?

It was a while before I got around to trying it, so I'd been anticipating it for a long time when I finally did. I went to the one on West 7th in Fort Worth, and it was totally...


...okay. Kinda underwhelming, actually, in that I didn't expect burgers-fries-and-drinks to be the only things on the menu. But I guess that's why it's called "In-N-Out".

Wonder Con will be at the Anaheim Convention Center 3/16 thru 3/18. If you're into comic book/sci fi conventions.

 

In-N-Out is great, but people tend to overhype it. In the end it's just fast food burgers, albeit much better than most of the competition.


Also, they'll make you anything they have the ingredients for. There are popular items on the "secret" menu-- e.g., animal-style fries.

 

Or close to it. And Guy is 100% correct on In N Out...........it's good, but completely over hyped (and in my opinion, it's not even the best fast food burger found out here). Those animal style fries are ******* awesome, though.

A beach? It's the band of sand that runs along the shore of the ocean.

Sounds like a good idea, but I lived in SoCal for many years and March is much too cold to go to the beach.
