I'm all for anything in favor of Anakin Skywalker...but messing with Vader's suit it's not it! C'mon, I love his look in OT, and even though I believe there will be some changes, I don't think (please!) that they'll be so big we won't be able to recognize him as our old DV...

Sure, we can't let this die...Vader is too great for that. *tries to come up with something to discuss* Eh...ever thought of the differences in height between Anakin (Hayden) and Darth (David Prowse)...yeah, I've heard the tale of added parts, Vader extra height was all in the suit. But that doesn't work if you look at the older Anakin in the end of ROTJ. He's tall enough...and taller than Hayden. Standing on a stone, perhaps?

 

Do you think they would ever edit Sebastian Shaw out and replace him with a computer-aged Hayden?

Well I like it the way it is, this way Vader will be one of the only characters to ever have been played by FIVE actors (David Prowse, James Earl Jones, Sebastian Shaw, Jake Lloyd, Hayden Christensen - and perhaps the list will become longer !)

Queengodess, your question is an often asked one... some people think that vader's being taller than Anakin can be explained by his injuries ; some actually think that his legs have been cut down during his fight with OB1 and were replaced by longer legs... I don't like that idea =( IMHO it would just've been too hard to find a 2 meters blue-eyed actor good enough to play Vader.

Anywa, it reminds me something : in the French translation of SW : Behind (beyond ?) the Magic, it is indicated that Anakin Skywalker is 2.02 meters tall, when Vader is 2.03 they should've paid more attention to that...

 

The updated official site now says that Vader is 2.02m tall (in armor) and Anakin is 1.83m tall.

 

Vader's dualistic thinking is humorous.
The Light Side Jedi will see that DV is messed with...

 

Yep, when they die by his hand it'll look a little weird (A hundred light side Jedi in this room ? Heh, give him a few minutes and they'll all die, and Vader won't even need to draw his lightsaber)
