    A couple of updates...

    It's tricky getting the shape right, since it's cardboard and tends to flex like metal wouldn't. Getting a straight line in the back split probably isn't going to happen, but it'll be close enough.

    The straps are an interesting accomplishment, I may explain that later.

    I really want to make a metal version after this party.

    That's exactly where I got it. I'm following a tutorial from elemental_fantasy, a fellow TFn'er: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjxWzjyLpao

    And then I put my cereal box cardboard over the top of it, like so:
    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v511/Vaportrail1519/PA180099.jpg]
    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v511/Vaportrail1519/PA1801101.jpg]

    I should have time to paint it today, we'll see. I can't really figure out a design for the collar, successfully. I think I'm going to try some of that Wonderflex when I have time/money, and redo the whole piece.

    This should be great for Halloween, though.

    Obviously, there's still some work left to do. I'm going to dye those pants to match the shirt, possibly cut off the pockets. Then I've got to cut fabric for the wrappings, rip the sleeves on the shirt, cut and properly attach the sash (it's just tucked in there), and dirty up the armor. I wish I'd gotten a darker brown paint for the belts, but w/e.
    It works.

    I may customize the 'saber too. If there's time.

    Does anyone have any good reference images for Starkiller's costume from the end of the game. I have the graphic novel, but I hoping somewhere there is a turnaround from the game that I can't find. It's the semi jedi outfit in this pic...

    If anyone has any suggestions they are much appreciated..this is my first attempt at a high quality costume.

    You could build it out of fibreglass and paint it over,
    but fibreglass is messy and the curing process is a serious respiration hazard.

    Basically you need a brown stretchy long sleeve shirt for this costume all torn up.

    and allot of leather like straps.

    Gauntlet.SK is wearing this under the wrapping on this right arm.

    I may sell this. not sure yet. I'm, working on a Phase 1 clone and don't know if I need this right now.
