I don't need them anymore. I'm up now.
Ah well, I tried...
And things are just too quiet around here... *Upturns a metal dustbin and whacks it with a cricket bat*
*arranges an array of sauce pans and lid to complete KIRA's drum set*
*Raids the bar in this pub and starts drinking*
Yay! Thanks Moose!
*Plays her new drum kit very, very loudly to annoy the neighbours*
Did you leave any drinks at the bar?
*Returns briefly to say...*
No. In my depressed state, I drank everything available.
Now please excuse me while I seek solitude in the covers of my bed.
Yes and no.
And everyone that has tried to cheer me up, hasn't really worked.
When's the next cricket match. That'll really cheer me up.
*tries to play cricket for Nat*
I don't know what to say...
*Give Nat a cricket bat*
Well, you aren't going to get far without one of these!
Just give me a ticket to Melbourne to watch the Warriors play this weekend, and I'll be fine. I think.... I have no friends in Melbourne....
I'd buy you a ticket but I'm less than poor.
It's OK. I'm going to Brisbane in Feb for 10 days to watch the cricket. Really looking forward to it, as I hsve never been to Brisbane before. I was looking on the net for cheap accommodation, and I think I found a good one. It's a motel,$85 a night, and it's a 10 minute walk to the Gabba (cricket ground). It has all the amenities I need plus more and looks like a nice place.
I also have a new toy to play with. My ipod has packed in (you can charge it up overnight and it will last 5 seconds the next day), so I got a Toshiba Gigabeat!
That sounds good.
I've never heard of those before. I'm looking at a 4GB Alba mp3 player, it's black and has an SD slot so I can add more space to it. It's £40 though, and I haven't got that much.
My dad has a Gigabeat, and so does one of my old bosses. They recommend them, as it syncs with Windows media 10. Hopefully the battery lasts a while! I can't afford this either (at $300), but I need something to keep me sane.
How big are they in terms of storage space?
Mine holds 30gb
Ooo... Pretty shiny!
I recently stole my housemates iPod shuffle, but it's only 512mb, so methinks a new one will soon be required (and the fact that I'm morally opposed to Apple products... *Throws a grand piano at Apple* )
Oh and moosemousse: Oddly enough, I've had my eye on the Alba's for quite a while now (being one of the few with an SD slot and replaceable batteries), and I'm pretty sure it'll be down to £20 in a few months time - they seem to depreciate quite quickly
Nat: That's quite good.
KIRA: hopefully, I'll be asking for money for my birthday (19th November), so maybe I can get one shortly after Christmas.
No fair - I have to wait until next year for my birthday! Hmm... Can I 'borrow' someone's MP3 player, purdy please?
I'd rather have my birthday in the middle of the year, mine is too close to Christmas and I don't like it that all the Christmas stuff goes up before my birthday.
Don't you want to 'borrow' my DS as well?
Aww... But having it at the end of July sucks too because when you were at school, everyone else had a birthday cake and/or present on their birthday, but mine was in the middle of the summer hols... And now, everyone's just on holiday in different countries - it's nigh on impossible to organise anything where everyone can make it!
And er... Darn, you remembered! *Cough*
I mean, oh yes please! I'll take good care of both, honest!
