That only works with European style dates, though. It's -24 here in the States.

Yes, well, our style of dates is also more logical. ;)

Looks like a SW nerd got spurned this Valentine's Day. Move on, Mar. He obviously doesn't appreciate you.

Except that there isn't any "he"... :p

EDIT: And I haven't been a SW nerd for quite a few years now... :p

No "he"? So either you really like girls or else you're straight and single. Either way your stock just went up among the nerds.

Not a SW nerd what where huh? Phhhht. Once a SW nerd always a SW nerd.

I never trust a holiday that is a. based primarily on lust, and b. has the initials "VD".

That being said, no real plans for February 14, since it's on a Tuesday and we both have jobs.

    EDIT -
    Gregorian Fixed.

    Jewish Fixed: 14-02-5772 = -5760

Our style matches more closely how you would say it in conversation. You don't say "The 14th of February, 2012," you say "February 14th, 2012." The American style is more logical.

Hey at least America gets to feel special. And that's totally more important than any science stuff.

Sad when one country is behind the rest of the planet! :p ;) [face_laugh]

Hey, I'm saying its Zero, I'm Aussie, I write it that way and after 25 years I can't be bothered finding something fattening or useless to give him! [face_mischief] :p

As the German tourist in The Simpsons said:

"Problem number 35 with America: no universal health care.
Number 36: no metric system. What is this? The time of Charlemagne? Answer me! Answer me now!"

Well I'm sure Obama will move us to the metric system soon enough as every GOP candidate constantly warns that he wants to turn us into a European style nation.
