    One problem though....grams are units of mass, not weight.

    EDIT - In America, there are 16 ounces to a pound. But in England they have 14 pounds to a stone.

    Quite right too. Although Europe seems to have become a lot more like the US in recent times, what with a single currency and having member "states" overseen by a main government.

    You're right, that is a problem. Who the **** would use weight? Mass is clearly the better measurement.

    Anyone using pulleys or high-tension lifting tools and suspension platforms: engineers, construction workers, mechanics, fishermen, etc.

    Doesn't matter anyway. Your argument is moot. Pounds are used for both mass and weight: LBM and LBF.

    Plus, no one in a field of any merit uses weight because it varies.
