Will Cairns be suspended for looking shocked and shaking his head? Or will he just be warned not to do it again?

Obviously nothing should happen, but who knows what these match review panels will do these days.

As sad as it is we still beat Aussie! The sydney match up should be a goody.

Hey who's replacing Gilchrist?? And is M. Waugh back in the side?

Ryan Campbell is Gilchrist's replacement. The number one keeper's child is very sick at the moment. I'm not sure what actually is the problem, I'll try and find out.

Campbell is also the wicket keeper from Western Australia. Number two to Adam Gilchrist. Not a bad way to get into the side. Interestingly, Gilchrist moved to WA from New South Wales to get a start over Berry who is the wicket keeper here, and he also has represented Australia on the last Ashes tour.

In all, there are four active domestic players that have represented Australia in one form or the other.

I know that the rotation policy has been suspended! But I'm not sure if that means last game's team is in, or if it was the original lineup. I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

Now, to the real issue with Australian cricket! The wave has been banned! And police have already issued warnings about the "Beer Cup Snake" in Sydney. That is the practice of collecting every plastic beer cup within the ground and connecting them up. Police have said that it's dangerous as people throw thins at the snake and could hurt someone.

The way I see it, people are going to act up and be even more stupid if they aren't aloud to do things like this. Hell, even beach balls are confiscated at the football or cricket here these days. Twenty years ago when these things were the norm, you hardly had any violent outbursts in the crowd. The fun has been taken away by the authorities and it's making people drink more and eventually lash out at them.

I heard they're considering drastic measures like only allowing light beer, and then only 2 drinks per person in some sections of the MCG.

    Eeeep.

The SCG only has light beer and has a total ban on beer in the family areas. Pretty drastic to limit it all totally, but people will always get by as long as you can hollow out a watermelon.

while listning in yesterday there were some problems with beach-balls.

the commentators got-a-talkin and said that with the technology these days you can go to a cricket game - p|ss around and dont have to watch the game - cause of the replys they can just watch them on the big screen. and so by not paying full attention they can fool around. If the replays were taken away people would pay more attention and there would be less "fooling around"

    its true - but silly.

    leave the screens!!!

//jp-30 in no doubt NZ will lose again today, but imagining, just imagining the points table if we can pull out a miraculous win//

We deliberately lost the first two, to give you guys a chance in this series...

S Waugh is the General of our team, and i will cut him a bit more slack before i order him out.
But Junior Waugh should of gone when he went, as he was seriously struggling for form.

Warne is the King, the best bowler in the world in terms of record, past and reputation.
His Test Match form is unmatched...he will catch on the ODI soon.

Australia WILL win this series, I am willing to bet any sum with anyone in this thread!

GO Australia! Go Victoria! Go Ian Harvey!
We are going to beat the kiwi's tonight!!

4 for 150 after the 34th over with a required run rate at 5.38

    only 49 overs too!

could be a good end if our bowling stays tight.

    //stay tight!//
