Well, I'm planning to do the double math and double science plus english in Yr12. I know it's going to be hard and all, but I hope I will be prepared to do it. And I'm trying to head in the Forensic Science field and I've been also thinging about Engeneering.

I'm also planning to take a year off after Yr12 and travell the world with a friend and spend a few months in my hometown.

Well, humanities are doing me proud, all i've got to do now is study... yes, study... any minute now...
Talk to Hawk, JC or PoT about intense non-humanities stuff, you might want something that keeps you (in)sane eg Philosophy...

I do need one of those keep-me-sane-subjects and even though you might not think it, I like the odd philosophical/political debate.

Although, I was thinking about going with Revolutions. Who ever does it - What do you think of it? I'm really interested in hisorical subjects and I'm doing 20th Century History...

Damir. Well done in deciding to take a year off. You WILL need the break after an extensive Year 12. But keep in mind, absence does not make the heart grow fonder when it comes to school. Getting back into the mould is the hard part. But once you're in, you're set.

I did graphics to let my creative side of the brain take over from all those harsh subjects. Besides, I was good at it.

Yeah take the year off, but remember to keep in touch still with your studies and interests. It is hard to go back to study after a break.

I have already thought of that. My dad - who lives in the place i'm planning to go - is head of the hospital there and since I'm planning on doing something in the medical field (hopefully), he will allow me to work with him there for a few months... like work experience.

Damir, you are going to have to work really really hard in VCE if you want to get into the medical arena!! Best of luck! :D

Our year 12 final assembly was so funny. I must say I didn't expect some of the guys to do the Full Monty! [face_laugh]

(Okay, they didn't go fully naked, phew, but they did get down to G-Strings!)

Our final assembly is tomorrow. We had the "milk run" today...my my, that was interesting to say the least. For those not familiar with the tradition: the idea is to drink two litres of milk, then engage in a variety of strenuous exercise, including running, push ups, sit ups and whatever else it takes to make you puke the milk back up. The person who lasts the longest wins. :D

Yr 12 muck-up stuff is pathetic. In my day people went crazy, today everyone is threatened beforehand of police involvement if anything goes bad, so it's really toned down.

I remember my Year 12 muckup. Chairs hanging from the ceiling feet first, sheep in the corridor, kids tied up.

I have to say my schools Year 12 much up day was pathetic. The only good thing was someone in full camouflage running threw the school chucking flares. My year 12 class will do muuuuuch better ;)

    I'm trenting at the moment.

What is a trent you ask?

A trent is a state of mind, a seasoned ability to focus, study and continue this at an intense and furious level for sustained periods of time. Last night, a good solid 4 hour Trent.

Today during school? Forgoeing lunchtime, recess et al, I trented.

Tonight? 2 hours of trent down and another 13 to go.

Yes, I intend to - along with a Greek Compatriot - Do what is known as a Study King Trent, where Delta Sleep is Negative, and IV drips are used in favour of meals for they disrupt the flow too much.

Ritalin is an option. Concentration enhancer for even the best of us.

Good morrow comrades, may the Ross be with you, thanks be to Insight.

Your MSN name makes considerably more sense now. ;)

Muck up day was today, and the entire suburb was a police state. Teachers from every school in the area, conductors at the train station and an increased police presence. Talk about completely ruining the fun for everyone. MacRob girls were viciously assaulted with water-based weapons in the city however, so all was not lost...
