Biology was fine, the best part was I could appreciate that it was a pretty difficult exam, and the state will probably do pretty bad, but I felt I did extremely well: bolstered by a talk to Fordy afterwards (top bloke, good teacher).

With weighting, Hopefully this will get me a 40 or perhaps (hopes) even more...

    curses mid-year B+...

That's the problem with mid-year exams, isn't it? We just don't appreciate the importance of them when we know we'll screw up the end of year exam. ;)

    Yeah...

    That's true.

But what about Literature? Who needs to study for that?

Not RP and I...we knoweth the art of bull****, that's all we need.

    Wheeeee!

    No more Literature ever!

I can rest easy knowing that I will never have to write a 4 page bull**** argument again.

What texts did you do POT? You to Rogue Product.

I did 'Last Orders' and 'The Removalists'

I think my first essay was awesome, but my second paled in comparison, due to the crappy passages given to us. They just, lacked symbolic content and were nowhere near as juicy as those on all the practice assignments. I feel like I've been robbed.

Still I think I did pretty well.

    No more literature, ever!

Screw you Mrs. Ratner! Your harsh grip on me has been broken. You neurotic piece of poo.

Yeah, I think I went well... Quite happy with it... We did William Blake's poetry and Shakespeare's Antony & Cleopatra... and it was FIRM... VERY FIRM

    No more psychology!!!

    No more Literature!!!

We concentrated our main focus on Robert Gray's poetry, Georgia Blain's "Closed for Winter, and Alice Munro's "Dance of the Happy Shades". I did the first two for my exam.

    Now I just have Media...

    Lit was teh = win!!!1!!11!

And methods, well, I thought I would fail, and hopefully I pulled out a solid A from all that guff, so that also went surprisingly well.

I think I'm going to go eat some yoghurt.

That's great... methods?? I just don't care about it any more... is that the wrong attitude to take? Maybe. But who cares, Lit and English were firm, so I'm sweet!!!

    You sound like me Rogue.

I've still got Legal, Revs and International left.

This weekend, I have to go over Russia and France with a fine tooth comb, and then rumage through a years worth of Legal notes.

Ah History, how does one study it? I could go through Townson and Lynch intensly...but that's just plain boring, is it not? What are you guys doing for it, apart from performing a forensic examination of the history course, Darth_Reign?

EDIT: by the by, what is International? Sounds dreadfully easy...

I dont see the point in worrying about exams

remember stay focused, be mindful of your thoughts and stay positive.

plus if u dont get the score u need, not to worry. goto uni for a lesser course and after one year defer to that class

    ENTER scores are useless.

For Revs, I'm just going through my notes, learning quotes and contructing a timeline to help me remember the histroy of the revolution in order.

International, means International Studies. It's a new subject that actually gets marked up. It's not as easy as you would think. It basically a mix of Politics and 20th century history. Quite good really, despite the fact that my teacher spends half the lesson plan mouthing off about America. He really doesn't like that country, I wonder why.

My only really troublesome area for revs is AOS 2 for the French. I never paid much attention to that bit and so I'm not too confident about that bit. Otherwise, I feel that I should go okay. :)

Mrs. Ratner!!!!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Is that appaulingly badly tanned, horrifically fake-nailed dried up prune of a woman STILL teaching?! What an absolute classic!

hmmm, I wonder who else here besides Reign attends my old haunt...

Good God, you went to Caulfield Grammar and were taught by Mrs Ratner? 'Tis a small world!

And what the hell is AOS 2?

    AOS 2 = Area of Study 2 I presume.

    Mrs. Ratner = Protentious bitch.

Holocron, you basically just hit the nail on the head, with that huilariously accurate description of the old hag. The Rat is still teaching yes and she is still as self obsessed and vain as ever. How do you and Jet-Eye for that matter know 'The Rat'?

If Huggard is God, then Ratner is Satan.

    Reign, I confess.

I AM in fact, your International Teacher in disguise, here on the forums to make sure you don't spread any Pro-American Propoganda.

    Damn that country....

Anyway, I've got but one more Methods (I've so cheated that system) and my Chemistry exam.

Chem i SHOULD blitz, but Í'm going to study it some more anyway.

Methods? Pfft...The Kev is with me, hallowed be thy TI-83...

My TI-83 = teh suck. The little bugger powered itself down, then cleared its own memory when I turned it again. I have to run down to a mate's place to get all my programs back.

    I hate maths.
