Vehicles of the SW Universe

I'm not sure if this has been done before. Sorry if it has.

Which Era has the better Ships and Vehicles?
In my opinion the OT had the better vehicles overall.
I for one still prefer the Xwing to the Jedi Starfighter.
But i like the original walkers to AT-ATs and AT-STs.
And you still can't go past the Millenium Falcon, it beats a naboo ship hands down.

 

Well, war usually tends to accelerate technological developments, so of course the vehicles of the OT are going to be better than those of the PT. But, if we're talking purely about appearances, I would still have to go with OT. The Chancellor's transport in PT looks like a Hutt compared to the grace and elegance that are the Mon Calamarian crusiers in RotJ.

And nothing, of course, can beat X-wings.

Im just waiting to see the Ships they have in Ep III, it would be nice to see some Victory Class Star Destroyers and other predessessors from the Empire and their ships. Who knows, the VSD had some of the best looking design of its day...and quite powerfull little ship.

 

i was actually refeering to personal opinion of the vehicles, what do you prefer.
If i had a choice of owning a Jedi Starfighter (which is still awesome) or an Xwing, i'd definatly go an Xwing.

 

I prefer the vehicles of the OT, the millenium falcon, the x-wing, the tie-fighters and the star destroyers are awesome.

But i have to say that i like the jedi starfighter very much.

 

I want a Vader style tie-fighter.

 

I like the vehicles of the PT more. Likewise, I like cars from the 50s and 70s more than, say, from the 80s and 90s.


I just like the sleek look of those ships.

 

I like the ships of the OT, personally. If you saw a 12.5 metre long X-wing flying at you and a 9 metre long Jedi Starfighter flying at you, what you scare you more?

The X-wing, of course, because of its' larger size, and more visible weaponry (4 lasers on S-foils).

I love those ships.

 

I would take Vader's personal star destroyer the super class star destroyer. That thing is friggin huge man.

 

Are you sure you have enough money to maintain it - even if, by some off chance, you manage to acquire it for free?

yeah the ot for sure, death stars, super sd's, mon cal, and of course the atat's.

 

Have to go with the OT but the PT has better looking stuff.
