Hello Ventura County FF. I'm from LAFF..uh the Los Angeles Area Fan Force.
You guys have a really nice site!! One question, do you guy collect dues in order to pay for the site? We were just discussing about creating a site for ourselves too. But I know nothing about creating sites, and paying for it or anything.

 

I hope not, otherwise I owe Matt money.

 

We all chipped in about a buck to pay for the domain name (it's like $8 at www.godaddy.com). The site is located on my server which I pay for, I had extra space so it was no big deal.

If any of your members has AOL or Earthlink (or most any other ISP) I think they give you a small amount of server space for free. It's probably enough to host your site.

If none of that made sence I'll put it in non-computer nerd terms: you could probably get a site for under $10 a year if someone knows how to make it.

If you want more info or whatever just let me know.

 

It's no secret that we run a multi-billion dollar corporation now. I guess we can come clean.

 

I hear the VCFF will go public next week. I think I'll buy some stock.

I'd like to volunteer to do something...then maybe I can have some sort of title, too!

Well, if you're good with words and you wanna fill out the info for our website you're welcome to try that. I don't think GB would mind. All you need to do is go to my post from 3/24 on this topic, and either post, PM, or e-mail me the info. Maybe your title can be like "Public Relations" or something? I don't know if that's something you'd be into but it would be nice to get that website done.

(Zaranne, I thought seriously about your comment; I still like the sound of "wise" and "experienced" could really get taken the wrong way out there. (Imagine that!) )
