Myor sighed and looked to the Jedi Master. "What kind of technology will we be working with? Not weapons per se, more like computer spikes and slicing equipment. Will any of that technical skill be used on this mission?"

"I'm taking my own ship. I won't go in one of those huge transports. If one of you want to come, it's a two-seater."

 

"If it's really important, then you should probably tell the council as a whole. But I think you've just got bad gas." Hahn Katarn said.

In response to Myor's question, Breha said "Since the rebel presence in the Algo system will most likely not want to reveal where the ship was headed, their flight logs will have to be sliced. Along with the weather equipment, we have also put any slicing equipment that may be needed aboard the ship." Looking towards Alhon, she said "And speaking of the ship, since Algo's system defenses are quite high, you should most likely keep your ship in the hangar of the one the rest of the party will be taking until you're ready to land."[/color]

 

Masters I have something to say. I had a vision of the comming mission, we the people going on this mission are going to be having a ground battle, it is going to be rough I sudgest we take some battle droids with us.

 

"Although there is likely to be resistance" Breha said, "This is a simple rescue mission. If we send any military forces with you, that will only send the message to the Galaxy that the Jedi are starting an open conflict...which we are not."

 

I don't agree with that master there will be heavy resistence and we need all the help we can get.

Myor intervened between the two Jedi. "I'm not against taking a droid or two with us... it'll give me someone to talk to." He paused for a moment. "By the way, do you have any extra parts lying around? I could use them for repairs and make a few items. Just wondering..."

Breha remained adamant in her descision. "The fact that Chancellor Naberrie is supplying a Star Destroyer for this mission is bad enough without sending an army as well. You will be fine. As for you," she said, looking towards Myor, "There are service droids aboard the ship for you to tinker with if you so wish."

Myor nodded. "Alright, just point me in the direction of the ship and I'll get started right away..." The others couldn't see it through the mask of his enviromental suit, but a nice smile crossed his face. The first one in about five years.

Myor turned to the Jedi Jen Mimi Jac and raised his mechanical arm from his side. The blue lights flashed as he rotated his hand on his wrist 360 degrees and stopped it. "I'm sorry, did you say something? I was too busy not listening to you..."

The Morseerian had a look of hatred in his eyes, hidden by the black goggles of his enviromental suit. "You may be a Jedi, but you don't own me or order me around. Just stay out of my way and we'll get along just fine..." Myor pivoted on his foot and marched back into the waiting room.

Upon entry, he raised all four of his arms in a shrugging motion and shook his head. "Jedi, cryptic and demanding as always..." he let out a small chuckle and went back to lean against the wall.

Kayos Aquilae spoke up "Please," he said "this bickering is pointless. You will need to work together in order to complete this mission. The ship is awaiting at hangar 3." Motioning to the Iktotchi Jedi who let them into the council chamber, he said "Vantos Coll will escort you to your ships. May the Force be with you."

Vantos stood up and motioned for The Party to head to the turbolift. "This way." He said

 

OOC: He did. He walked back in the waiting room.

 

*follows Vantos* *thinks to self* I need a drink

 

IC:
Following Vantos, Alhon asked, "Can I swing by my ship? I've got a disruptor sniper rifle in there, and I have a feeling I'll need it."

OOC: The gun from JKII and Jedi Academy.

 

Vantos turned to Alhon. "Your fighter has been loaded into the Arbiter's docking bay. Anything you need can be accessed during travel.

 

"I see. If there's so much as one scratch on that baby..."

 

Nrahek followed Vantos silently, staying well out of the conversation. She did not see the point of this stupid bickering and detail-pushing. Because of her currently non-existant patience, the Khekhara just wanted to get to the ship and get going...

"Master Vantos, do you have a feeling that there will be another war?"

 

"There hasn't been a Galactic war in over 700 years." Vantos said as he entered the hangar. "And there's been nothing to suggest one would start now."

Inside the hangar was only a small shuttle with barely room for 10 people, but flying outside the exit was the Consul-class Star Destroyer, Arbiter. Approximately the same size as the Acclamators used during the Clone War over 1000 years earlier, the Arbiter was only lightly armed, but with multiple shield generators and backup hyperdrive generators, it was still a ship not likely to go down in a fight.

Pointing to the Delta class shuttle parked in the hangar, Vantos said "You will take this shuttle to the Arbiter. Once there, your mission officially begins. Co-ordinates have been supplied to the Algo system, and maintenance droids are ready to take care of the ship. Each of your rooms has any supplies you may need, and a direct link to the the Jedi temple is ready on the comm system for mission updates. May the Force be with you." Vantos turned and exited the hangar.

From here on out, you have complete freedom with your characters. You may do anything you wish to further the story (or just joyride in the Star Destroyer), but keep in mind that the same laws as in real life apply in the GFFA.

"I agree with you master, but I guess time will show that either one is writing."

*Looks at the ship* Ah it's been a long time since I seen one of these

 

"Well, at least we're riding in style," He said, boarding the shuttle. "Hey, Myor, can I talk with you?"

Admiring the ship slightly, the Morseerian technical expert could hardly wait to start hording droid parts and constructing all kinds of things.

It was then his attention was directed to Alhon who had addressed him just before he began boarding the ship. "Yea? What is it?"

"If you're not doing anything during the flight, I'd like you to check out my ship for me. I have a bad feeling about his mission, and it doesn't help that they're screwing with my ship without me knowing."
