Mary Very Bad News!

I have some official forum news for everyone. Apparently, our fanforce isn't big enough so we're gonna be shut down. And by shut down I mean the Baltimore, MD thread being deleted. We can still meet and stuff but this is no longer our home. It's happening to other cities as well, but there hasn't been any official announcement about it. I sent Sapient an email asking if this was true and he hasn't replied yet. I don't think this can be possible. Don't worry until we here from an admin.

 

This is April Fool's isn't it? You guys need to quit giving me heart attacks or you are gonna haveta find a new "Mistress of Hospitality".

 

I'm checking on it. I've heard they might lump us into DC or Richmond, VA.

 

Sapient, if this is true, we have a crisis on our hands. First, there is no group in DC, second, Richmond, VA has no board to post on and finally, the spork only reigns in Charm City!
We don't want to be lumped into any other group. And how do they know how many people we have in our groups? Mogook, did Roz ask how many people come to our meetings, or how many people are in our group? Grouping us with Richmond is stupid since we live so far away from there the two will never meet. Sapient, use your influence. This better be an April Fool's Joke....

This isn't Rox's decision. Sapient's gonna get more info on this, but he had to go to work. So, we'll have to wait till he gets back for what he finds out.

I don't understand why they'd put us in with DC or VA. This is stupid.

 

Does this have to do with Snowboards wanting us to use less space, and the Admins having to delete a bunch of big threads/forums?
Why would they delete us & not all the other little fan force boards that rarely get posts and are not offical fan forces? We're better.. other boards should be lumped into US.

 

Well, I can understand grouping us with DC if necessary. They are close enough to still be functional. Hey, we have one member who hauls her cookies (and sporks and lingerie!) all the way from West Virginia to be among the wise. Richmond does not make sense though.

Isbeth is right, we'd never be able to coordinate a functional meeting over that great of distance. They might as well group us with New York if they're going to be that intelligent about the whole matter.

Jeez, Mogook, you scared us half to death. I hereby propose that as suitable punishment, we subject Mogook to about 10 hours of N'Sync videos. Any other suggestions?

 

And make him watch the Star Wars Holiday Special - Twice!! That should be punishment enough!!

Okay, the Shadow dancing thing and the Shiny, happy people thing just drew uncontrollable shivers up my spine! That is torture in the most evil, despicable, manner indeed!
