'Veterans' post your cra... uh... early attempts...

Just take your copy of the Challenge of the Sith DVD and go to the special features section. Under fx tests you will see some of the most pathetic attempts at rotoscoping you will ever see (before I learned what a filmstrip out of Premiere was and what outer glow was as well in Photoshop).

For those of you who dont have the DVD....maybe one of these days I'll post some of that s### on the site.

Daft: I can't view your first roto thing cause it is in On2. I am one of the unfortunate few that got really screwed with on2 and QT6. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Haha elMister that was great, for some reason when you saw the camera man in the shadow i couldn't stop laughing. Also I fail to see the reason why you felt it was important to stab him with your saber after you had already cut his head off. And the end was great too, "no!" "no!" "no!" "no!".

Hey guys. Well, I am back in Iowa on vacation, and all my old stuff was on this computer. So, I made a page really quick to show you guys my old visual effects stuff. Most of it is before I learned 3D, and therefore you will see the use of models.
Also, you guys probably did not know that I used to do tradional drawings before I started doing graphics. So I put up a few of my drawings also.

Totally OT so I guess I should give the backstory.

First time learning how to shoot film and instead of blowing the money on test shots we figured we should improvise a scene. We only had a two and a half minute reel of film. So I had this idea, it sure was a lot of fun.
