I popped into Comics'R'Us today as you guys suggested- there was a whole shelf of Uncanny and Ultimate X-Men and a huge range of Star Wars comics, but they were out of the early Legacy ones. Probably a good thing- I was already tempted by the fact that they had 'Union'...but I guess I should start saving up for the aptly named 'Sacrifice' hardcover that's coming up in the LotF series.

So...any New Year's Resolutions?

 

Oh CRU...those boys and their silliness. Me and my mate Moose regularily go in there and argue in front of them for laughs.

As for NY resolutions - not go crazy is right up there!

And not injure myself so often. I'm off work today because I kneed a gutter getting off the bus last night.

 

I think you should invest in a good solid pair of shin guards

 

Depending on how often she uses the excuse, she might be able to get it via WorkCover.

 

I think I should just invest in all over body padding. Knowing my luck, it'll be my nose or my arms next

 

Maybe get one of those cool rolling cages they used in Gladiator (the Mike Whitney one, not the Crowe one).

Something that I can go to, as I will be living in Melbourne in les than two weeks....

 

Nat, has HR organised where you are going etc. when you come over, or still no word?

 

Region 4 office contacted me just before Christmas, and I've heard nothing since. I'm going to ring sometime next week to let them know that Fri is my last day and I'll be arriving in Melbourne the week after.

Just over a week to go! I'm having a hard time packing. Everytime I think I've packed my stuff, I find more. I knew I owned a lot of junk, but not as much as I thought!

 

Good luck with the move! I don't even you at all...my moves consist of throwing clothes and unbreakable junk into garbage bags and hoping for the best with everything else

 

As long as you don't start getting all green and Hulky...

 

If I do, a nice cup of tea and a choccie biscuit usually calms me down. If that fails, bring on the cocktails...

 

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing the one-man show, depending on cost, of course.
