Montréal *Victoria Day Weekend Trip to Ottawa*

I need to know who is going to go to Ottawa for the Victoria Day weekend (May 20-22) for the joint Fan Force Event??? Please add your name to the list so I can have a head count. Even if you plan to only come for one day or part of the weekend I'd like your name on the list. I will be booking a hotel room this week. We can probably all share the room to cut expenses. I plan on going up either Friday evening or Saturday morning and staying till Monday morning.

Yeah, I can't confirm my presence nor Val's. It all depends on the status of my job in Ottawa. And she is not a Star Wars fan at all nor a fangirl, nor a movie buff, so she's doesn't like those kind of meeting. We will see. I may be coming to de Dinner & Broadcast alone... if I do.

 

Prety much all of the Ottawa people include their Wives, husbands, Partners, SO's, Financial advisers ........

We are going to a Museum, and having a BBQ, and chating. There will be lots to do for her if she wants to come. We dont talk Starwars the entire time

Elyse and I will probably be able to go as well. It just depends on how she is feeling because she is pregnant, and won't want to over due it. So we will do what we can. Fair enough?

Uilmuteiz suggested it on the Ottawa boards and I'm all for it! Please let me know if that's interesting for you as well. The temple they are refering to is the one from Indiana Jones... so another product of George's We'll still be having the BBQ picnic as well. Just thought this would interest most of you.

I was just wondering if anyone has found a park to do the BBQ. I am not 100% sure which one has a BBQ. But we need to find one that does.

Putting a math exam on the monday, there's not even city bus transport how the hell am I suppose to get to school? By walk? It's a bit chilly out to go and swim across the river, so that means walking half the city, won't even get started on the numbers of hills to go up...

 

Any idea on what we're doing on Saturday Afternoon/Night, nothing really planned and according to the Ottawa Fanforce, people are only really getting involved for Sunday's plans. The Da Vinci code comes out on Friday? Possibilty?

 

Could be an idea I suppose, though I've heard that if you haven't read the book you may get lost...

 

I am here from Fanforce Toronto (Dom from Montreal is here with me). We are in the Comfort Inn, 1252 Michael St, Ottawa (613-744-2900). We would like to join you for the Sunday activities. We have Dom's laptop and free wireless internet at our hotel, so if you post your itenerary for Sunday, we can check it. We are staying until Monday, so we could also join you for brunch if you let us know where.

Where is the group going for Supper on Saturday night?
