So glad to hear that Nicole and Ronnie will be there. We miss them so much.
Green fringe is a great color scheme.

I talked to Debbie. She's having computer issues and asked me to post that she's really happy about Nicole and Ronnie coming to the parade, too!!!

Thanks!! We're really glad to be able to make it.
I don't think we're going to dress up though.

Oh yeah. I knew there was something I was going to mention.

Kari, is your trailer okay to pull the trailer cuz we'll probably
come in the truck and that is definitely capable of towing. We pull
    the horses with that truck.

And if I wasn't hitching a ride in the vehicle pulling the trailer
I was going to volunteer to get people back to their vehicles.

My Blazer is fine to tow, but it really doesn't matter to me.

Sonya, what's your preference? White Blazer or Red pick-up (I think it's red, isn't it, Nicole?)? I don't mind either way.

Well, I know that Kari has already sent in the stats with the app for her blazer and that Mike was going to drive it, but if we used Nic & Ron's truck, we could put more people in the bed of the truck, like non-costumed people with the foam fingers and other IEFF stuff! And we could decorate the sides with IEFF signs or whatever!
    So it sounds like from the rumor mill I'm hearing noises from is we'll have the;

    Blazer/truck & trailer
    The Falcon
    The H-wing
    and all the costumed folks!

Wow we are going to make a huge impact!

So we get everyone to park at the end of the parade, I'll help to shuttle people in the am and then we're off to Deb's for the holiday partying with little delay!

My one request, please, please, PLEASE!!! Let's have MUSIC! Every parade I have helped with in the 501st there is NO music and it is TOTALLY boring to watch us go by

Yes, it is red. And that's true, we could stick people in the back.

Does anyone have a stereo?? The one in the truck is okay. It has a cd player, but the speakers are kinda yucky.

I'm fine with whatever vehicle you guys want! We can have music if you want, but I'm not sure if anyone is going to be able to hear it coming from a stereo. You know how there's always marching bands making alot of noise. But like I said, we can go ahead and do that.

Remember, the stereo needs to be able to run on batteries, unless your truck has one of those plug dealies.

I'd need to get an adapter. Unless we have one...I'll have to check.
If we do play music. What kind exactly? Does anyone have a CD?

Has transportation been figured out yet??

Well I don't see anything wrong with a good ol' movie soundtrack.

Are you talking about transportation back and forth from the parade end/beginning? Kari's handling that.

Okay. I believe we have Episode 3, 4 and 6 at least on CD. We might have more. I'll check when I get home.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Do we have enough cars?
Or hopefully, we could just drive everyone back on the trailer.[face_praying]

    I have an adapter.

I marked on the application that we're playing music, so I hope that means they'll try to spread us out from others that are also emitting melodious sounds!

Also, once we get in front of the judges stand, we have to be playing Christmas music. Technically, that's all we're really supposed to play during the whole thing, but.... hey, it's us! Isn't the world supposed to revolve around Star Wars????? Last year we just switched over during the judging. Nobody said anything. It's not like we're playing acid rock!

My plan is to have most everyone park at the end of the parade and ferry them to the beginning. That way there's no waiting at the end when everyone is ready to get out of the weather.

Sonya, if we used the truck, would we be able to put something in the bed? Would it help?

The IEFF members! You know, those of us that do not belong to a costumeing club! Our kids!

We have music! We can do a mix of STAR WARS and holiday. What is the exact theme again? I can work on this.

Great idea, Minda. The theme is "Unwrap the Magic of Christmas". So you want to handle the music?

I'd love to do that if everyone is okay with it. Of course any input is appreciated. I have a few ideas!

We definitely have the soundstracks of Episode 3, 4 and 6.

Should we dress as presents using Star Wars Christmas wrap and sit in the back of the truck??? [face_laugh]
