I intend to make my father sit and watch all the SW films one after the other in chronological order. He's seen AOTC (though I think he didn't have a clue about what was going on) and he's seen bits of ESB, but again, I think it went in one ear and out the other.

He still thinks Obi grows up to be Han. ;)

Who do you think you're fooling, TRAITOR!?!?!

I've watched SW with girlfriends too, it's one of the more exciting things you can do with them. ;)

I guess they already knew the Vader surprise, but apperently I totally forgot how laughable admiral Ackbar looks.

Yup, guilty as charged :) Dang, I even where glasses when I post over here ;)

Anyway, I had a close call this weekend. Her roomate and roommates boyfriend rented
Reign of Fire, which has a little reinactment of the ESB scene. Luckily, I was smooth enough to create a diversion ;-)

We will probably be watching ESB this week. I will be sure to let you all know how things go :)

I envy your girlfriend more than you'll ever know! Right after the PT came out,I read all about it in the LEGO magizines, and then my cousins told me everything they could remember in both the PT and the OT. So I knew about the Vader/Luke relation long before my parents let me watch it. :((they thought it would give me nightmares I guess) And then the first movie I saw all the way through was ESB, so any doubt I had about Vader really & truly being Luke's father dissappeard. :( :( :( Tell us all about it. ;)

Oh, man! This is sick, Eliezar! You've got us on the edge of our seat for how long now?

I have a friend who hasn't seen any of the movies either. I was debating whether to let him borrow my videos and watch them in the order I have or to just let him see them in 1 - 6 order.

If there are any psych majors out there, propose to your prof that you do a doctoral thesis on whether 4 - 6 then 1 - 3 is better than 1 - 6. :)

Maybe she wasnt star wars compatible?...
I mean some people just dont get "that feeling" that some of us do. Some people just see movies not a whole interesting universe to explore and grow in.

Her mind may have imploded form the stress.
Or perhaps she broke up with him because of his love of Star Wars (sad)

My G/F is Star Wars tolarent, meaning shell watch it with me but prefers not to discuss it at length.

I had the pleasure of showing someone the OT who knew nothing about it. Her reaction when Vader told Luke was a classic. She covered her mouth and just kept saying 'oh my god!' I wasn't touching her at the time either. I think she was in shock for a good ten minutes after the credits rolled. Its weird how we get excited showing someone who doesn;t know about SW.
