Viewing the CW Episodes - SW.com or CartoonNetwork.com?

Currently there should be 4 files on the net:

HS large
HS large with commentary
CN small
CN small with commentary

The cartoonnetwork files are RealPlayer streams, so that's why no Download URLs are available.

 

Sorry, I thought the CN one and the non-HS TOS one were the same.

 

Has anybody been able to actually snag it on your computer?

Now I've had more time to check it out, it appears you're correct. The small version on starwars.com looks to be the same USA-only streaming version as found on cartoonnetwork.com.

 

It should be up tonight at what 8:30? However they didn't even come close to that with chapter 1, so we'll have to see if they've got their stuff together.

Now that they've realized the foolishness of that streaming-only approach, I'd say we'll get the second one in a more timely fashion.

I've got Hyperspace but the URLs I found only linked to a tiny Quicktime file that itself linked to the movie file . . . or something like that. I'm not explaining it good but I'm sure somebody knows what I'm getting at.

Indy3, apprently it's because the files aren't hosted on HS, they're hosted on an AOL server. Something weird like that, I hope they fix it by tonights episodes.

 

Good job posting those links 1010101. I can get you the AOL file names no problem; I'll post them here, so then you can make those pretty links for everyone.

It's funny JP-30 that you mention the AOTC footage. I downloaded that with no problem. But like it was mentioned above, when I try to download the Clone War episode, it links me to a tiny 153 KB file and I get one second of footage. For once I have to say, thank God for AOL!

Man Ch.2 was great!!

 

THey are hosted on AOL for bandwith issues. It's easy to get the links if you use a network sniffer and look at the HTTP requests. If they keep hosting them on like this, they won't be able to protect them.

However, beware posting the links, you could get in trouble.

OK, [b]Ghent[/b] from starwars.com has said that no direct links to the ~35MB AOL files are to be posted here. That also includes the sniffing and pasting of URLs embedded in Hyperspace pages.

You [i]can[/i] discuss the US-only free smaller-screensize version on starwars.com and cartoonnetwork.com.

And Hyperspace members, I guess, can talk about how to retrieve the file from their cache and / or save the file using Quicktime Pro.[/color]
