Vintage figure cleaning tips?

    What would be the best way to clean vintage Kenner figures without damaging them? Would a simple soap & water job be okay or is that a no-no?

    Also is frosting ever known to happen on unpackaged figures? If so, what causes is it and what could I do to be rid of it?

    There's a step-by-step article on cleaning action figures in general here. Note that using soap and water probably wouldn't work too well on figures with cloth accessories, such as capes (unless you can safely remove them).
