Crikey, Kate, can't see why we don' do both? After we're done skatin', I'm sure we'll both be a little sore, and could use a nice rubdown. We'll take turns...

"Skating first, it is. Just let me change!" Kate heads to the girls' bedroom. As she passes John, she smiles and says "The skating was a great suggest, John. I love skating."

Kate emerges from the bedroom about 15 minutes later. She has on black stretchy jeans and an oversived pink sweater. Over her shoulder is a pair of white ice skates, with pink laces.

"I was thinking, when we get back, I could make fondue for dinner. How's that sound?"

I wouldn't have minded skipping the skating and just going straight to the massage, but its not too bad. I really do like skating, and do a lot of it every winter back home. Some friends of the family even have a cottage up in Lakeville. There's a small pond near their place we always skated on.

Besides which, there's really something about skating around with a guy's arms wrapped around you, then 'warming each other up' later.

John seems to have relaxed a bit, too. Like he's trying to make up for all the trouble he caused when he first arrived. Hope its for real and not just an act.

::at prison the guard wakes up::

"So Mike's in the front with John. That puts Ethus, Fluke, Allie, Whitney and me in the back. Hmmmmm, 3 girls, 2 guys, all crowded together in the back of a car. Sounds like fun."

"Who was that on the phone, Fluke?"

 

*whitney smiles, wrapping a tail about Mike's waist*

I can't wait to get going.. and I'll get to sit right next to Mike! Oh, this real world thing definately has its benefits- I haven't been here too long, and already I may have found a guy who doesn't mind what I look like! ^_^

*heads outside with his new mates to jump in car with everybody*
*since there's so many people, offers Kate to sit on his lap*

*car reaches "Happy Jack's Down-Under Ice Skating and Kangaroo Boxing Emporium"*
*hops out and heads in with Kate*

*grabs some skates and hits the ice with Kate*

*suddenly realizes he's never ice skated before*

Awwwww, criiiiiikey!

*takes a hard fall*
*tries to stand up*
*falls again*
*pulls himself up using wall*

Whew! Oy! This skatin's a bit tougher 'an I thought! Could you teach me 'ow to do this proper, Kate?

 

"Love to, Ethus." Kate skates around so that she is standing in front of Ethus, facing him. Reaching down, she takes his hands, helps him balance enough to stand. Keeping hold of his hands, she skates backwards while giving some quick tips on keeping his balance.

The sexy Aussie's natural atheticism comes in handy, with minutes he and Kate as skating slowing around the rink.

 

::Fluke steps onto the ice and passes by Kate, jumps into the air and performes a triple lutz, lands it perfectly and glides by Brian, looks on at him in laughter and takes to the air again... this time it's a triple soucow followed by a double axel. Fluke skates up to some of the others and comes to a halt, spraying them with ice::

"(laughing) Let's see someone top that!"

 

*loks at ethus not skating good*
"hahahahaha!"

"I'm a hockey player this is nutting."

I can't be on the ice and not trip anyone!

I'm afraid of the ice- so afraid- oh Mike, hold me, hold me..

(is secretly giggling at the helpless act)

 

::doesn't hear Whitney quite yet::

Holy crap! Did you see what Fluke just pulled off? Wow!!!

::finally hears Whitney::

Ok, here- take my hand. Shift your weight from one foot to another... cross your feet when you want to turn... There! You've got it!

::they skate::

::John runs up and tags Mike, yells "you're it!" and skates away.... soon all the boys are chasing and checking each other::

::Girls giving an exasperated look::

::Mike comes back to Whitney, out of breath::

Phew, that was fun.... how about we make a giant skate chain with everyone else?

 

*laughs and looks at the ladies..*

Ok I think the race for women is coming to a stand still... if i am going to want any luck in the run I've got to enter now! plus I'm lonely cause everyone is still kinda looking down on me.. they think i made the whole thing up why even try...

Hey- look- the new guy's going off all alone. Maybe we should follow him? He looks sad..

 

Yeah, let's go see what's up with him. He really has made an effort to make up to me and even called us when we needed to return to the loft.

Hold on-Let me get some hot cocoa orders- I did say I'd buy after all.

Who wants some cocoa? I'm buying? How bout you Kate- a little chocolate to warm you up some? Of course, if you want warmed up more, we'll have to make special arrangements for that. How about you, roomie? Fluke? Allie?

 

:Allie, who has been just skating around by her self comes up:
