Visiting and Would Like Some Suggestions

Hey all--I'm visiting N'Orlins this wknd and would like suggestions on where to go/what to do. Any help greatly appreciated!

Aquarium of the Americas and the Audubon Zoo are very good as well.

There's a lot to do here, and hopefully this weekend will be nice after all this rain from that Tropical Storm we had.

 

Whew! It was a busy (and wet) weekend. Went to the Aquarium Friday then checked out the FQ, did karate most of Saturday, then checked out Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and Bourbon St. (was at Temptations for a while), and took the boat ride to the Zoo and the Garden District trolley back to Canal St. on Sunday.

The Whitney Hotel is a neat place to stay too. You can dine in what was once a bank vault....

 

I hope you had a great time with all this crappy weather that was here this weekend...

It was unbelievable!

St. Charles Ave is a neat place to take the streetcar. You can see the old houses, and Tulane and Loyola Universities which are next door to one another.

 

Yeah, we took the opportunity to do that. It was sweet!

Didn't get to see all the wild stuff I was interested in checking out; suffice it to say I'll be back in town sometime fairly soon
