So do you think that on his résumé he claimed that he was "a kind, peace-loving man, a friend of all cultures and ethnicities"? [face_thinking]

Yeah, all hail the great Obi-Anne, mistress of banners.

*yawns* There's much anger in me. Just because I'm bored. Like my father. (But he is not... Hmmm...=

You can always kick a wall... or a balloon...;) Yeah, the balloon sounds better, definitely...

But then it has to be a talking balloon. Or screaming. Screaming will do, really. Don't need no sarcastic quips. Just some anguished roars of pain and terror... That would lift my spirit. Yeah...

Well... I don't know about screaming, but some balloons are known to release certain sounds of pain and terror when they are... tortured, that are very much of the "POP" variety... People mostly think that the thin walls of a balloon can't handle all the pressure and the heat, so, they burst... In fact, a balloon's skin is as tough as that of a rhino... They could put up with a heck of a lot more than a needle's prick... The bursting effect is a mere manifestation of the balloon's frustration and anguish, an act of protest, one might say... Sadly, countless generations of balloons have not yet realised that this very act of protest, their scream for justice, immediately ceases their existence. Some might say that this is a touching example of the will of some life forms to fight for their rights. I think that balloons are dumb...

Well, they're made of some kind of rubbery thing, they're always stupid colours and children love to pounce them. It's probably better for them to be stupid. I mean, if they had brains, they'd realize what a sad existence they lead...

Balloons only makes me think of that book where they have a chapter describing the fights between the people who get turned on by balloons, and the people who get turned on by popping balloons...

I need to read that book methinks.

Well I've read the review of that book and can just say, some people are quite imaginative when it comes to what they are turned on by.

Yup, I read that review, too, and found the balloon thing quite fascinating. But the girl who had a relationship with a tree was stranger - especially the part about her discussing how being with other humans was not the same as being unfaithful. Because at least they weren't other trees...

Hmm, I've read about a nut who supposedly married the Berlin Wall...
A wierd woman managed some kind of model/architectual museum in Malmoe, I think it was...

    That's her alright...
I don't quite see what she finds attractive in several big pieces of concrete cemented together...
On the other hand, I don't get the balloon-debate either...

I would not marry the Berlin Wall, but I sure would like it back :p (hey, at least I'm not alone with that opinion for a change!)

EDIT: Or should I say "him"? o_O

Why would you want it back? It was obviously not really in love with you in the first place as it agreed to marry that strange woman.
