Vote for your 3D software of choice?

There are other apps I know. If you use CINEMA 4D just reply. Otherwise DON'T make replies. Maybe I'll make another POLL part II. I'm trying to consider only the more famouse apps with good market share... and only those that are full featured for professional 3D work and not landscape generators, Poser, etc. Even tho I am fully aware that some people use Bryce to do big things.

Umm... not that it really matters, but I just voted for Softimage, and it didn't go from one votes to two.

i put AM not because i like it but its the only one i really use on the list.
BRYCE would be my choice, but its not that popular in general anyway...

I voted Maya. Yeah Maya, because I'm trying to learn maya, I'll leave Max for a moment. If I want to become a professionnal artist, I must learn Maya

If you guys read my first reply... please don't make a bunch of unnecessary replies to this thread... and note that I said we have to limit it to full-featured 3D apps. Not landscape generators, character generators, etc. ALSO.. it only allows you to put 10 choices. SO I couldn't add Wings3D, etc. etc. The point is really not to make some all-inclusive poll... but to stop the noobie threads. ALso.. no you can't edit anything unfortunately in these.

Check out the zbrush 2.0 stuff over at pixologic.com. I just got my copy and it's definitely worth the price of admission. It does have some pretty cool modeling tools, i'd say it's as much a 3d production package as wings or formz.

 

I must be an elderly old fart from Florida, because I accidentally voted for soft image, thoght I was voting for Maya, oops.

MotionBuilder Animation
RealViz Photogrametry
Electric Image Rendering

OK, so RealViz and Motion builder aren't listed, but FormZ and EI are there.
Also, for those that use the dvGarage 3dToolkit, that counts as Electric Image, right?
