Pittsburgh, PA VOTE ON THE S.W.A.P. LOGO

Since we weren't prepared at this months meeting for voting on the S.W.A.P. logo here is your chance to. There are two rules to the voting.

A. You may only vote once. Once you do vote you need to reply to this thread saying that you voted. You do not have to say what one you voted for, just that you voted.

B. In order for your vote to count you must have attended at least one meeting in the last three months.

This is for our logo. Our icon can be something entirely different and deserves another thread. Voting is closed come sunday evening around this time. The logo chosen will not be the final version but the logo that is chosen is going to be refined and cleaned up for printing as it will apppear on all our printed materials as well as our website.

Will it be more expensive for a logo with colors or will Sal be taking care of that?

 

It doesn't matter either way. Most of the stuff we print we can print from hom or will be black and white anyway.

As Rox mentioned, don't worry about the color. I am in the printing business so I can get us a deal. If not get it for free from Em (my fiancee's) work.

Also, once decided upon, would you all like T-shirts?

My thinking is to have the logo small on the front (where a pocket would be) and large and centered on the back.
I'll figure out cost but I think I can get a good deal on them. I don't know about personalized shirts though. (That could get expensive, fast.)

Sal, t-shirts sounds like a good idea to me. Personalizing them would definately incease the cost of them. Just getting ones made up with our logo like you suggested would be fine.

I, too, exercised my democratic rights on this matter.

T-shirts could be cool, though I don't really think they need to be personalized. Unless someone really, really, really wants one and decides he/she absolutely, positively cannot live without one come hell or high water.

I, fortunately, am not one of those people.
