For bonus points, explain how you think they'll go below!
luke has 100% percent of the vote so far. i'm wondering if they'll do the first episode master death.
I can see Han and Chewie heroically dying aboard the Falcon.
Because there's no option for 'none?'
this is off topic but i want to see someone die from flying at hyperspeed through an object.
Wouldn't that happen so quickly as to be between frames?
not if a ship was stationary and another hyperspaced into it.
looking at wookiepedia it says ships automatically stop themselves. but not if they're sabotaged!
it would be cool to see a spray of fire and debris and have someone say that a ship calculated wrong.
If another ship hits them at >lightspeed they die at that speed, not the stationary speed they where parked at. Regardless of sabotage or not...
Random though: honestly dying from that is likely the least painful way in exsistance since you'd die from being atomized before your nerve ending could inform your brain. Sign me up for that death failing me not being able to die from old age.
Hyperspace collisions, whether they be intentional or by accident, could devastate or even destroy a planet. Considering the fact that the output of thereactors of many Capital ships rivaled or eclipsed that of a star, and that the energies needed to make hyperspace travel possible were vast, one could unleash a great deal of destructive power on a target. Even if a planet had itsplanetary shielding up at the time of a hyperspace collision, it could still have the potential to kill millions on a world such as Coruscant just due to the fallout. One of the more famous hyperspace accidents occurred during the Clone Wars, when the Star Battlecruiser Quaestor collided with the Separatist planet Pammant, fracturing it to its core
It should be Boba Fett. Or his hidden son/daughter. In every trilogy, there is always one Fett dying in such a ridiculous way.
The result of a hyperspace collision between a Y-wing and a gravity shadow.
Hopefully no one but Han maybe. Definitely not Luke.
I think Luke is going to die, sacrificing himself to save Han and Leia. Of the three, Luke has the best potential to return as a Force Ghost, so a physical death wouldn't be the last we see of Luke.
I'm voting Lobot.
With Ford rumored to have a major part in the movie today. I'm thinking Han Solo dies. Basicly thier way of saying good bye to the character.
I think Luke will give his life to save the new young lead. This will inspire him to be a better Jedi and a braver man.
I think its going to be Wedge. I hope its NOT luke.
I think Luke will sacrifice himself as well.
I'm thinking Luke may be the likely candidate to sacrifice himself, but the news that was just released about Han having a 'gigantic' role in Episode VII certainly sounds suspect. It makes you wonder if he will have all that screen time as one last 'hoorah' before his death. Still, I'm not entirely convinced on that one just yet, so I will stick with Luke for the time being.
Probably Han. Hoping, hoping, hoping it won't be Luke.
Isn't the final step of becoming a force ghost dying during a selfless act? I think Luke will become one with the Force and Han, Chewy, and maybe Leia will go out in a blaze of glory. I guess Leia could become a ghost too.
I'll second that. Luke is the 2nd most important character in the Saga. To kill him off in Episode 7 would be a terrible move.
Anakin had 6 movies, Luke should too.
If rumors are true this "gigantic" Ford role is most certainly a setup for the death of Han Solo
If it's true Han has a big role in 7, I think he might buy the moisture farm.
If people get pissed and send death threats like they did when Chewie was killed in Vector Prime I will not be a happy camper. I admit I'm not going to be happy if they kill Luke but I'll roll with it just to see what happens. How will everyone else react etc.
