ST Wait, did Rey understand Chewbacca?

Remember the scene Rey asked Finn "What are you doing" and Chewy made noises. Finn asked what did Chewy say. Then Rey said "Chewy said it was your idea to come back for me"

So, Rey understood Chewbacca, wookie language?

Also, at the end, they two went to find Luke.

 

Yes, she does. She understands droid beeps, she understands Wookiee, she can fix anything, she can fly any ship, she can fight with anything, she can use the Force, she is Anakin 2.0.

 

Rey is Chewbacca's daughter confirmed!

Seriously, you saw where she lived. Among many aliens. Not a surprise if she knows a bunch of languages. In fact we saw her speak more than English (or basic or whatever).

 

You missed the scene well before that when Han and Chewie first meet Rey and Finn. Chewbacca says something and Rey answers him. Finn looks at Rey and asks her "You understand that thing?", and Han relies that this "thing" understands you too...

To me it suggests that Rey has been around wookies before to understand them... Hmmm. Suspicious....

 

Yeah the girl is good, no doubt there. Noticed the similarity between this movie and The Phantom Menace?

 

Why is it so hard for people to understand that it's possible to learn more than one language?
