Last fall, members from Rebel Legion, 501st, and Ohio Star Wars Collector's Club joined together to form a team in the inaugrial "Walk Now for Autism" event, in support of our friend Scott Wadsworth and his autistic son Donovan.

The team is called "Donovan's Jedi" because autism is a complex brain disorder that impairs social interaction, and Donovan's mom found it ironic that JEDI use their "jedi mind tricks" to help others. Basically, the idea behind this team is simple: whatever kind Star Wars fan you are, we're ALL jedi... Donovan's Jedi!

This year, there are TWO "Donovan's Jedi" teams participating in "Walk Now For Autism" events here in Ohio (Cleveland and Columbus) later this fall. To help support two teams of Sky-walkers, we came up with the idea of hosting a raffle featuring items donated by some of the Star Wars celebrities (including Gerald Home) we've met over the years. Most of these items are going to be raffled off at local CLONE WARS events, but we managed to score one donation that's sooo cool... we just had to make this available to EVERYONE!

The winner of the online raffle will recieve: a custom-framed 27? X 40" CLONE WARS theatrical movie poster signed (with personalized artwork) by director Dave Filoni.

Click here for more information about how to enter the Walk Now for Autism/CLONE WARS online raffle

Tickets for the CLONE WARS/Dave Filoni poster raffle are:
    1 ticket = $5 US
    3 tickets = $10 US

There is NO limit on the number of raffle tickets an individual can purchase, and at this price it's worth it to buy mltiple tickets. All online raffle submissions will be matched with a physical raffle tickets and entered into a drawing to be held later this fall.

All proceeds from this raffle-style fundraiser will be donated to Autism Speaks on behalf of all three groups participating in "Donovan's Jedi"

Obviously, something like this would be a major addition to any Star Wars fan?s collection; but mostly this is an opportunity to help the millions of children (1 in 150) with this complex brain disorder.

Good Luck or should I say May The Force Be With You in the raffle. I'll pass along this info to the local collecting club here in MI to share.
