I thought it was really good. It was cutesy and it made me laugh on several occasions. A brilliant children's film, and it was wonderful and refreshing not to hear any spoken dialogue for much of the film. Pixar's most creative film to date, and a truly great science-fiction story in the guise of a children's movie.

One of Pixar's best, really great little film. I did find the use of live action actors in the video footage strange though, since the people out in space were rendered more toon-like.

Also, was I the only one laughing out loud at having Sigourney Weaver voicing the "airlock disposal" announcement? [face_laugh]

    Plus Wall*E is Mace-based! ;)

Saw this on Tuesday with my girlfriend. Both of us liked it. My favorite Pixar film since The Incredibles.

I actually loved that distinction because the point was to distance the toons from the live action humans. They didn't want you to associate the "fatties" with the live action people because they weren't as hopeless as the live action people were, as the end of the movie showed.

I really enjoyed this movie. Visually speaking, the renderings of Earth with all that trash was unbelievably well done. The 2001 references were fun, especially the pod. WALL-E was of course adorable, but I was surprised to find there there was an even better and more adorable character in the film: MO. MO is like, the greatest thing ever. :D

I felt the message of the film was a little heavy handed, but it is a children's film after all, so I can forgive it.

This is for sure in my top five of Pixar.

I didn't go into this movie with very high expectations, but it was a very cute little movie and I really liked it.
