Ok the new theme for this week that Zebra3 has chosen is 'Han Solo' everyones favourite pirate. Good luck everyone. Competition open untill 23rd.

Hey Zebra - Uh the girl I used as Jaina didn't pose as her. She's a photomanip I created using Shirri Appleby, best known from TV's "Roswell" to be Jaina.

She's one of my favorite Manips that I've done, looks pretty natural, doesn't she?

Great theme by the way - I'll definitely have to get behind doing a wallpaper of everyone's favorite loveable scoundrel!

I can't believe it! My topic broke the thread again

 

This is a great thread guys, there've been some pretty awsome wallpapers in here.

I don't think your topic broke the thread. Think of it this way: people are probably scurrying around to make some great wallpapers. I would actually attempt one myself, but I only have Photoshop Elements, and I can't really do anything with it.

 

I'm going to extend this topic untill the 28th to get more entries. After that there will be a long voting period as I am off on holiday for a week on the 30th.

 

Oh good an extension! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night my department worked late, Friday we got out right on the dot, but when I got home I was beat.

Since we have more time though and it's the weekend I'll get an entry ready! I'm so glad I didn't miss out!

I don't think it's you Zebra - people are just busy. I think for the summer you're going to have to allow a couple of weeks for people to get in entries instead of the usual 1.

Thank you Zebra - yours is awesome too! I like how both of us chose to make ones that are non-photo representations of Han!

 

It is, I think But in all honesty, I doubt I'll ever submit a banner with photos of the characters. For some reason I..... struggle when working with imagery of real people I've learned that the hard way after consistently making bad icons with real people If at all possible, I'll always look for art of them first.

 

Oh PLJ that is simply a beautiful Wallpaper. I fell in love with it the second I saw it! You did a fabulous job.

My vote goes to PLJ!

 

PLJ has my vote. Seroiusly, it makes me weak in the knees!

 

Zebra - I like using both, but I generally don't mix the 2 mediums unless I filter the heck out of the whole thing to make the photos look more like artwork.
