Holla Honey Bear!!!
Hans wanted to know which Wally World???
The one on Carlisle! Just north of Menaul!
Thats Hon going home
See you later.
Do you need me for this??
I may not make it> I only have one day off and lots to do.
Are Corellian scoundrels allowed?
We can use Rebel Scum
Need somebody to "assume the position?" "Even I get potatoed once in a while." (Wrong thread).
See everyone there then. Don't need my RV for this one.
It was great meeting you all today. I appreciate you letting me know about the event and I hope to be participating myself soon!
i went to look for figures after work and was surprised to see everyone there. I just want to say you all looked great and i am sure you made many kids' day. I wasnt reading this thread because i thought it was about the car show. I'm not really into cars. Hopefully my daughter can make it to the next event so we can get some pics of her with everyone.
I was so glad I made it out to meet you guys. I had so much fun and I know my kids did as well. They talked about it for the rest of the day. My daughter has been bugging me since to make her a Leia costume, so I guess I had better get busy!
Hey Guys and Gals,
I went to the show with Commander_Clem and was glad to meet you all. And in case anyone is wondering.. I am the Canadian Clem was making all his comments about.. Hopefully I will have a Scout Kit together soon.
Sorry I didnt make it I needed a day off.
Hosier is here! Congrats...Say hi on the new members board, they are wainting for you.
I have more fun at each one of these! What a fun thing this is and what a cool bunch of people you all are! I have noticed one thing. The smaller kids, 4-6, are definitely riveted by the armor, but some of them are little uncertain about it all. Kind of like when a cop comes to school. When I am the only costumer without a helmet, sometimes these smaller guys feel a little safer about coming to me. And a few of them felt bolder after I handed them a blaster of their own. Niche!!!
Mark and his mom were the stars of the day for me. What a terrific family! And Mark reminds me so much of my 12 year old self. Except that he's far cooler than I ever was. Well, except for that blaster-stealing tendency of his. LOL! Cool, cool kid. Mom was pretty cool too.
Fun day. I hope I can make it next week to the library. Jury's still out on that one.
Well, off to make some blasters.
Hey Mark, do me some research for that Jawa blaster, will ya? Get me some pics and drawings. We'll do some building.
Just found out that some of the first pics didn't turn out. Gina was getting blamed for it even though the person they got to do the pics didn't really want to in the first place.
Did anyone get photos from this event? lets get them posted!
sorry i missed this-- seems like all had a good time!!! hopefully i can do the next one!
hey jess- i got something for ya!
and it does involve a certain man and his boomstick!!!
I've got a couple photos, my son is in them if's that's OK? It's got the whole group.
That would be awesome Commander Clem....send away!
Gecko_Fett, I just e-mailed them to you!
Hey, Greg, I noticed that, too, it is nice to have a 'friendly' character for the hesitant people... and you are a really great PR person, very outgoing, it will be a shame if you get armor and can no longer do that role!!!
