While the assassin took off, Jek looked at the Display screen and seen that F7 had traced the coordinates. The assassin was apparently going to Naboo. Then came in a signal from one of Jek's friends, Reshon Dagai.

"Jek this is Reshon Dagai, I am currently stranded on Naboo and I could use some help. I have a jedi here with me and there are an army of mercenaries outside the city. Any time you could come would be highly appreciated. Reshon Dagai out." Jek ,after hearing this from Reshon, was at a loss for words. The assassin took off towards Naboo, which ironically is where Reshon is. Jek looked over at Kahn.

"It seems we are destined to go to Naboo. When your friend says he is with a Jedi, he means he has captured a Jedi, doesn't he." "Well I can't be certain, but he probably wouldn't worry about keeping a bounty over his life. An army of Mercs isn't an easy task to defeat. But I guess we will find out when we get there."

Jek then looked over at F7 who was waiting for it. "F7 we're going to Naboo." Jek then got out of his seat, "I am going to get the Land Speeder ready. Kahn, feel free to do what you like and let me know when we get there. F7, come with me and help me set up the gun turrets on the speeder." Jek said while walking out of the cockpit. "Yes sir." F7 answered while following Jek.

IC: Kahn

After Jek and F7 left the cockpit Kahn moved to the floor to meditate with the hopes of receiving guidance from the Force. The ship's approach signal would pull him from his trance.
Kahn closed his eyes and let the force flow within him. Kahn found himself in tattered clothing with his lightsaber ignited. He looked around. He was in a wooded area surrounded by dead bodies and his mind filled with rage. A hand reached up for Kahn. It was Jek. Kahn grabbed Jek by his throat.
A buzzer pulled Kahn out of his vision. Kahn tapped the comm. "Jek, Naboo is coming up." Kahn returned to his seat and strapped in.

Reshon stood there waiting, and then his wrist plate started flashing. It was his ship computer alerting him that Jek had arrived."Jek it's me Reshon. My ship tells me you have reached the Naboo. We're at the royal palace in Theed. There is a space port nearby that is empty. I'll meet you there. I'll bring the former jedi. please respond Jek.

Location - Orbit, Naboo

The KVO, jumped out of hyperspace above the lush blue and green planet of Naboo. Surprisingly there was no fleet of any kind above the planet blockading it in. But there were many civilian ships exiting the planet, obviously trying to escape. Also there were a few Naboo starfighters escorting the civilian and some military ships out into space obviously hoping to evacuate as many as possible. The Queen however still remained on the planet.

Again another transmission from the planet came through on the communicator.

"Jek it's me Reshon. My ship tells me you have reached the Naboo. We're at the royal palace in Theed. There is a space port nearby that is empty. I'll meet you there. I'll bring the former Jedi. please respond Jek. "

Jek's radar screen pointed to where the landing pad nearest to Reshon's position was. It was near the palace, in the back of it. On the way down to the location several ground units started to fire on the KVO. They were heavy anti-air missiles, and were now coming in the direction of the KVO. As the ship flew closer towards the city of Theed, the anti-air missiles also came closer and closer. Jek would either have to destroy them or do some very good maneuvering to insure his safety.

Hopefully Reshon would be there when he arrived.

[blockquote]D528 entered Jiy-Bock's personal quarters, it was a large room, grey with dura-steal panels all around, it had a few laser turrets, but also allot of hidden ones. Jiy-Bock had just hired D528 to kill a Jedi on Corellia, but he failed to do so, instead accidentally firing on another bounty hunter, which was now chasing him to Naboo. Of course being an assassin D528 destroyed all traces of himself, so that the bounty hunter and his Jedi friend wouldn't be able to find, him. Unless of course he wanted them to.

Jiy-Bock was turned around in his chair facing away from D528. Nobody had ever seen Jiy-Bock's face and many wonder whether it was his real name or not. Jiy-Bock began to speak, his voice echoed by loudspeakers around the room.

[i]"D528, you have failed me,"[/i]a large electrical spike hit D528 in the back bring him to his knees[i]"I though you were one of the best assassins in the galaxy, but you have failed such a simple task, killing a Jedi is child?s play, yet you could not kill one that was inside a pitiful cantina. I am giving you one more chance to prove yourself, one more task for you to complete, The Queen, she needs to be taken out, ALSO my sources tell me that there is a Jedi on the planet, one of those slimy Kel Dor's, I want you to terminate them. BOTH."[/i]

An electrical shock hit D528, making him unconscious. The next thing he remembered was being next to his ship where he landed it in one of the landing pads on the outskirts of Theed.

Reshon looked up at the queen, "my name is Reshon Dagai, and I am not one of the most skilled diplomats in the galaxy. Also I have heard rumors that the sith have been planning to attack Coruscant, and if that is the cass, then nowhere in the galaxy is going to be safe, not even Naboo, from the sith. Maybe Izen could be of assistance. jedi were taught the ways of diplomacy, I could lend you my ship.

Reshon heard missiles firing and ran to a window. he saw Jek's ships coming down and missiles trying to knock it down."I need to go and make sure that Jek arrives safely." Reshon ran ouy iand into the landing pad, using his jet pakc to get there.

IC: D528

About an hour later, after the meeting with Jiy-bock, D528 learned that the Queen was going to try to travel to Coruscant. "Well, this may work to my advantage." He said to himself as he jumped into his ship and took off, heading for the royal palace. When he got near the royal palace, he landed on a nearby rooftop and pulled out his rocket launcher. He aimed for the front door and fired. The second the rocket left the launcher, he was already getting into his ship; he then took off and started for the other side of the building.

IC: Alkresh

Alkresh waited for a response from the queen still kneeling on one knee before the beautiful woman who ruled the entire planet of Naboo, a planet that had now been plunged into chaos and destruction by the mercenaries outside. The peace and tranquility that had been Naboo was shattered by those who would do anything for money and it sickened him to see such happening to this peaceful planet. Looking up to the Queen he could that he greatly appreciated what he had offered to her though little as it was as she said "Thank you Jedi," then paused as surely she realized her mistake before continuing with"Master healer, I am very much pleased to hear that you can help the people of Naboo in this crisis, this is a peaceful planet, and we cannot defend ourselves against such an army. As the Queen addressed the bounty hunter Alkresh quietly stood, his robes silently coming off of the floor from the flowing piles they had made when he knelt before the Queen. He continued to keep quiet as the Queen spoke briefly with the bounty hunter saying ?Bounty hunter, maybe you or maybe an ally could help us get of the planet, to fly to Coruscant and discuss this invasion with the Supreme Councillor, I beg the two of you to help me and the people of Naboo. Also there is one more thing I wish to ask you, what are you names gentlemen?"

Before he could respond to the Queen's question the bounty hunter started speaking, not wishing to interrupt the bounty hunter Alkresh kept quiet on the matter listening as the bounty hunter said ?"my name is Reshon Dagai, and I am not one of the most skilled diplomats in the galaxy. ?And I M'Lady am Alkresh Ryntak at your service, a healer and former Jedi. Given what Reshon has said it sounds best if you were not to leave the planet and the relatively safety the Palace offers, I have one favor I might be able to call in to bring more help here and I will see what I can do M'Lady. What Reshon says though is rather true all Jedi do get some small amount of diplomatic training but my focus was on healing not politics though I will offer any advice I can give. I also have a ship that is at your disposal it is not a ship designed from a fight, it has only two laser cannons but it does have extra armor plating. If you wish to leave the planet you may take it as an escort to what ever ship you wish to fly in.?

Just then Alkresh heard some missiles be fired and saw the bounty hunger Reshon run over to a window, though he knew it might be bad political courtesy to just up and leave the Queen before she could respond he followed the bounty hunter over the window over. It appeared that the bounty hunter knew the ship that was coming belonged to one of the friends or fellow bounty hunters that he had sent a message to. Quickly the bounty hunter said ?"I need to go and make sure that Jek arrives safely." . Moving back over to in front of the Queen Alkresh said ?I think it best if I go as well, your guards should have the Palace safely under guard till we can come back and hopefully with reinforcements. Good day M'Lady I will be back when I can.?

With that Alkresh turned and ran after the bounty hunter pulling out a communicator to his ship, telling his computer to get a comm message out to a friend who owed him

IC: Darth Abaddon

Abaddon smiled sickly as he stopped the lightning.

"No," he said. "You are the one who is mistaken and the one who will lose!"

He reached out his hand and with the force, crushed the hilt of her lightsaber.

Then with the force, he enhanced his rage, his body becoming surrounded in a red light. He sped towards her faster than anything she had ever seen, and he planted a hard, painful punch to her face, knocking her to the ground. He turned and placed his boot on her chest and pushing down to cause her immense pain.

"I suggest you admit defeat, grey one," he said menacingly. "Do not make me destroy you." He removed from the back of his cloak, and sharp metal sword, with a large M and a skull on the hilt. He placed it at her throat.

Jek and F7 were in the back working on putting the turrets onto the speeder. Then Kahn came on the comm. "Jek, Naboo is coming up." Jek then closed the comm screen. F7 then double checked the modifications and followed Jek back to the cockpit. Jek came into the room giving him a quick thanks and looked at Kahn staring out the view.

Jek and F7 were in the back working on putting the turrets onto the speeder. Then Kahn came on the comm. "Jek, Naboo is coming up." Jek then closed the comm screen. F7 then double checked the modifications and followed Jek back to the cockpit. Jek came into the room giving him a quick thanks and looked at Kahn staring out the view.

Jek reclined in his pilot's chair and stunningly watched all of the ships leaving Naboo. "Looks like we're late for the party Kahn." Jek said sarcastically to the Jedi next to him. Jek realized that the ships had been leaving Naboo for some strange reason. What could cause this big of an evacuation? He thought out loud to himself. Looking over back at Kahn, he shrugged his shoulders. Then came in a message from Reshon, "Jek it's me Reshon. My ship tells me you have reached the Naboo. We're at the royal palace in Theed. There is a space port nearby that is empty. I'll meet you there. I'll bring the former Jedi, please respond Jek."

"Reshon, are you there? I am just now coming into Naboo. So I will track your coordinates and find the Port, see you soon." Replying to Reshon. "Well Kahn, it's time to get some information." Jek said while searching for where Reshon was. After finding him, Jek found the Space Port to be behind the palace. Heading towards the port, Jek had seen a few people that didn't look to friendly. When he got close enough he finally realized that they were an anti-air unit. "Oh no, looks like we have some trouble ahead Kahn." As he was saying that there were around 4 missiles that were shot at the KVO. "F7" Jek hollard at the droid. "Time for plan Distrunt." Which was one of the plans Jek and F7 had come up with in the 'Tactical Battlestation' room.F7 then got up and hurred as fast as his droid legs would let him, to the back.

"Well then lets see if this one will work." Jek said as he flew straight up as the missiles came towards the ship fast. Coming from the rear missiles started firing towards the ground units. Then as the missiles got close, Jek pulled the ship straight, past the missiles, and straight down at the anti-air patrol. Right before Jek pulled up right above the ground, F7 stopped firing, and the smoke cleared from around the units. Then when they turned around to look at the KVO, they seen the missiles right above them. F7 shooting quickly and precisley at the missiles, blew all four right in midair above the units. Even Jek seemed to be impressed with F7's ability on the turbolaser. "I'm not sure, if it killed them but at least they will be stunned long enough for us to hide." Jek saying, not sure if he was talking to Kahn or himself.

Jek then rushed towards the back of the palace and seeing some sort of figure shooting at the front doors of the palace with rockets, he made a mental note to ask Reshon about it later. Then he past the port about 2 miles and found a good enough cloud of trees to hide in. Jek having F7 throw the camo netting around the ship turned on his comm. "Reshon, I ran into a little trouble heading for the port. I am a few miles down from it in the forest, so I will be a little delaited in getting to the port. I will take my speeder so watch out for it. See you in a little." Then Jek turned and looked at Kahn. "Well, that worked out pretty well. Lets go." Then Jek and Kahn took the Speeder out of the ship. Jek seen F7 "Guard the ship and let me know about anyone coming near the ship." Then him and Kahn hoped into the speeder and cautiously headed towarded the port where they were suppose to meet Reshon and some 'former Jedi'.

Hangar, Sith flagship, Orbit

Kiiv watched, not being able to do anything, as the Arlic was thrown back in the hangar, slamming into a wall. But he didn't want to lose concentration and have the same happen to him. He got his lightsaber ready and just as he turned he blocked the attack to his chest. He then pivoted to the left to avoid the Sith's lightsaber slash. The Sith then used the force to jump above Kiiv's head.

Kiiv immediately spun around and kept his lightsaber up. It was time to attack. As the Sith stood in a defense, Kiiv focused on him and nothing else. again the noises from outside the hangar and from the battle that was in space was zoned out. Only the Sith was in his mind.

Kiiv slowly twirled his lightsaber, as he dash forward and slashed at the Sith's waist from right to left.

She felt the darkside right in front of her, but it did not intimidate nor did it bother her. She opened her big round eyes to see him standing at the doorway. She had been sitting with her short legs crossed, and she now stood up carefully, keeping her hand ready on her lightsaber. She face the Sith and her faced turned serious. She was still being powered by the light.

"Take us, you will not. Victory will be ours, Sith." she said, as she waited for him to respond.

Reshon watched as the missiles were firing at Jek. he watched as a large group go fried by the turbolaser and then fly off into the forest. "Reshon, I ran into a little trouble heading for the port. I am a few miles down from it in the forest, so I will be a little delaited in getting to the port. I will take my speeder so watch out for it. See you in a little." " I hear ya Jek. I hope to see you very soon. Reshon out. Alkresh I am gonna do some recon and wait for Jek. you go ahead and head back to the palace. You're welcome to come with me to look around."

Reshon went back to the palace and did a side trip to the outskirts of the city.He pulled out his disrpotor rifle and looked through the scope. He saw the army. they had a vast amount of troops and then grinned at the mere thought o how much this was costing whoever planned this. I looked at a few vehicles and then went back to the side of the city facing the forest. He looked for a speeder and looked to see if any mercs had moved to the forst to see if the ship was still there. Everything seemed fine on this side of town. "Jek I'll be waiting for you at the gates. I'll see ya there and make sure the gaurds dont give ya trouble."

Following the Jedi and the bounty hunter onto naboo Eretar sort of flew around until they landed and then flew about a click away from the forest right near the palace and hid the clawcraft.

IC: Alkresh

Alkresh had followed the bounty hunter Reshon towards where they were supposed to meat some ?friends? of the bounty hunter. Unfortunately the mercs weren't going to make it easy for Reshon's friends, if Alkresh could see the ship incoming so could the mercs. It was a good thing Reshon's friends weren't go to make it easy for the mercs to bring down their ship, their ship came in firing at one of the mercs anti-air positions. From where he was he could not tell if the anti-air position had been destroyed or the crew to it had just be severly shocked by the attack on their position. Shortly after that Reshon received a message that Alkresh could hardly make out but seemed to say "Reshon, I ran into a little trouble heading for the port. I am a few miles down from it in the forest, so I will be a little delaited in getting to the port. I will take my speeder so watch out for it. See you in a little." Well it seemed that their plan had changed and the meeting location would be different than first thought. Unfortunately for Alkresh though he did not have a jet pack like Reshon to get to the new location faster. Reshon quickly responded to his ?friends? message by saying "I hear ya Jek. I hope to see you very soon. Reshon out. Alkresh I am gonna do some recon and wait for Jek. you go ahead and head back to the palace. You're welcome to come with me to look around."

Turning to the bounty hunter Alkresh responded ?No you go meet your friends I will go back to the Queen and provide her what help and security I can. I will also see what I can do about getting a more organized counter offensive started, try to get back with your friends help as soon as you can Reshon there is much that needs to be done to save the city this day.? With out waiting for a response Alkresh started making his way back to the palace and his new duties of serving the Queen to the best of his responsibility. Alkresh knew he should not have anything other than the Queen's safety or the defense of the Theed on his mind but he could not help wondering what was taking Kronos so long to respond, it was highly unusual for him to take this long to respond to a message even if Alkresh was calling in an old favor to help the Queen. No something else had to have been going on to keep Kronos from contacting him, which also did not bode well for Alkresh.

As Alkresh made his way back towards the palace his focus kept getting side tracked with trying to piece together exactly how current events had come to fruition on Naboo as well as what could be keeping Kronos from contacting him. His mind was wandering more as he got closer to the palace, and while his mind wandered he got sloppy in keeping his movements well covered not inviting danger. His line of thought was shattered as a blaster bolt rang out and whizzed by his head ?Son of a bith!?[/b] Alkresh shouted as he dived to the ground to avoid the several shots fired after the first had missed. It is a good thing that merc is a lousy shot Alkresh thought to himself, he would have to take care of this merc quickly. With a flick of his wrist Alkresh's small hold out blaster shot into his palm as the former jedi slowly got into a crouch looking towards where the merc had shot at him from behind. Luckily for Alkresh this merc was not all that smart, instead of waiting to see if he had truly killed or even injured the man this merc immediately moved out of his cover towards where Alkresh had hit the ground dirtying his dark blue robes. Though Alkresh was not a fan of killing some one for any reason he would have to do so many times today to help drive back this merc army, but to do so he would need more than his small hold out blaster for a ranged weapon and this merc had given him the perfect opportunity to upgrade. Alkresh came up from his crouch firing a single shot from his hold out blaster through the merc's chest, though he was not proud of what he had just done he needed a better weapon even though

 

IC: Kahn

Kahn remained mostly quiet; his mind was preoccupied with the vision he had aboard the ship. Given his limited training, Kahn was unsure how to interpret the vision. Perhaps the captured Jedi could help him understand it. Kahn pushed the uneasiness out of his mind. He did not know what he and Jek might be running into, but Jek may need his help; being distracted by the vision could get them in trouble.

Cockpit, The Whirling Kavadango, Cave, Dantooine

The gambit had succeeded, but with great consequences. The Whirling Kavadango had suffered massive damage when the cave had collapsed around it, the thunderous roar of the klaxon was proof of that. Still the temporary safety of the cave would at least of Space Pirate Boogie give a chance to work on the hyperdrive.

Lynmi?len glanced at one of the cockpit monitors and it showed a number of life forms surrounding where the Jedi had been. At least the scanner was working, the smuggler couldn?t say the same for either shield generator and a number of other systems.

The future held some difficult decisions for Lyn, working on the Kavadango would give her some time to think.

Location - Theed, Naboo

The Queen sat in her large royal chair, her majestic clothing a bright red, and her hair black but made into a swan-like shape. She felt somewhat helpless at what was taking place around her, and also the rest of Naboo. The bounty hunter 'Reshon' was meeting with one of his fellow mercenaries, with the Jedi healer following him. Without the presence of the two she also felt very vulnerable. She needed to do something, but what could she do, she could not contact the Galactic Alliance, or Councillor Kalahn, the Naboo security force was not strong or big enough to take on the army of ruthless mercenaries, not even the Gungans could come to their aid. The Queen was truly on her own. Suddenly a large explosion shook the entire palace, some small parts of the palace shattered off the walls leaving parts of rubble everywhere.

"Officer, what was that, what's going on?" The Queen called in distress to her security officer.

"Ma'lady, a large rocket has destroyed the main door into the palace, the outside forces are holding but I think we have very little over two hours before this place is overrun my mercs."

Unknown to the Queen and her officers the deadly assassin D528 had fired the rocket in an attempt to kill her, but his true intentions were not know. Only a few saw him fire the rocket at the palace. Those who did also saw him jump back into his ship and fly around to the others side, possible trying another attempt at her life. They would all soon find out.

Alkresh was just coming near the throne room he also heard and felt the large explosion. He had just defended himself against a mercenary attack, killing the man and taking his weapon. Alkresh busted into the room just as the security officer had finished informing her of the palace status. Before he could do anything a transmission came through his comm.

"Alkresh!, it's me Kronos, I am in a bit oh a jam at the moment, I am on Coruscant, the Sith are attacking the planet, it's starting to fall apart. I am with some friends of mine, we are attempting to rescue the Councillor. Once I am done I should be able to get to you on Naboo, but I'll keep you informed."

Alkresh bowed to the Queen and awaited her question and possibly instructions. As Alkresh bowed the Queen rose to her feet, her dress lifting then falling down, so large that it piled up on the floor.

"Alkresh Ryntak," the Queen still in some distress, "we do not have much time, the mercenaries have destroyed the main door into the palace, though our troops can hold them I have been informed that we have little over two hours before this place is overrun my mercenary forces. We simply do not have enough numbers to defend ourselves, but if I flee then they will take control of this beautiful planet, but if I stay they will kill me and take over anyway. Is Reshon's friend here yet, maybe they could be of assistance, where have they come from? Maybe we could flee there?"

Reshon?s mercenary friend had just landed in a forest area a few clicks away from the palace. He removed his land speeder from the ship. Another Jedi was with him, Jedi Kahn. They both jumped into the speeder and made their way into the city. The city itself was crawling with mercenaries, thousands of them, even more were surrounding the palace itself. Jek and his companions would have to blast their way through to the palace, though that would not be easy. Reshon himself was scouting with his disruptor rifle searching for Jek through the scope. He would soon see Jek and his companions in a land speeder, fighting their way through the Mercs though unable to kill everyone that got in their way but enough to make a path towards the palace. All of them would need to meet in the Throne room soon before time ran out.

Kiiv Torr
Bridge, Sith Capitol ship, ( Orbit ) Coruscant

Kiiv noticed the Sith's sloppy style as his strike was blocked. The Sith was too aggressive and over confident, thinking that the victory was in his hands. Kiiv instead planned on how to win, how to beat this guy without foolishly fighting. Unfortunately, Kiiv didn't get to clear his thoughts much as for the Sith charged blindly, almost instantly after.

Kiiv stepped back and was hit by the bolt on the chest. The Sith wasn't that powerful but it was still damaging. Kiiv was flung back a few feet as he struggled to maintain his balance. He didn't fall back and was glad, but no time for thinking. He quickly raised his lightsaber vertically at chest left, lazily blocking the Sith's attack. He didn't intend for his block to be lazy, but he had just barely managed to recover from the bolt.

A second later the Sith tried to knee Kiiv. As their saber were locked, Kiiv held the sabers together as the knee came to him. Kiiv easily stepped back, dodging it. He then pulled his lightsaber away from the Sith's and quickly stabbed at the Sith's chest. Hopefully it killed the Sith as for missing the knee should have made him lose balance.
