War of the Force II - Vacuum of Power

Arlic Haelstrom lay motionless and unconscious on one of the many streets on Coruscant. The dead bodies of both Sith and Galactic Alliance soldiers piled around him, an image that was copied all over, as bodies littered nearly all of the streets. The entire planet was lifeless, only the breath of the wind and the sound of the continuous roaring thunder. Remains of great starships plagued the skies above, wreckage falling through the atmosphere, crashing into one of the few remaining buildings on the planet. Finally the five year war between the Galactic Alliance and the Sith was over. The final battle took place on Coruscant. The remains of the entire Sith Empire?s main force took one last stand at defending the capital. All but a tiny fraction of Galactic Alliance main force answered the call, engaging the Sith. Even though several other battles were taking place concurrently, this was the one that decided the fate of the entire war. The battle between the two forces was extremely fierce, the few surviving Jedi fought alongside the Alliance against the Sith Lords and Warriors of the Sith Empire. Still the Galactic Alliance had one other ally that they were unaware of; The Shadow Jedi, a freelance group of Force-users not tied to the Sith or Jedi. They believed it was in the galaxies best interest for the Alliance to win the war. So they joined the war disguised as Jedi and some times even Sith to sway battles one way or another, Arlic was one of these Shadow Jedi.

But even with the help of the Shadow Jedi the Galactic Alliance force was slightly outnumbered because of the other major battles taking place simultaneously. The battle dragged on for many days and many nights, and soon the numbers on both sides began to decline with neither showing any signs of giving up or of victory. Then suddenly the Galactic Alliance sperical operations forces pulled off something both amazing and dangerous to both sides; the managed to disable and soon after destroy the planetary shield of Coruscant, allowing orbital bombardment of the planet. Soon both sides started shredding the planet with starship fire and with it thousands of soldiers, mechs, buildings, Jedi, and Sith alike.

But in reality that did not end the battle any quicker, because shortly only three more starships remained in orbit, one Sith and two alliance vessels. The situation on the ground was similar expect for the proportion of numbers was reversed with the Sith having the upper hand. Before long the Sith gathered all of their remaining army to wipe out the opposing Galactic Alliance army. Both sides gathered around the large and majestic Galactic Senate building, for several minutes they waited standing opposite each other, both looking worn as the battle had dragged on for just over a week. The Jedi and Shadow Jedi lighting up their blades like a rainbow across the front lines on one side, and the Sith igniting their blood red blades on the other. Both sides yelling as the both charged forward, the sound of death echoing throughout. Basically the entire war came down to this battle, soldiers with blades and blasters, Jedi and Sith with lightsabers, massive mechanical war machines on both sides and of course the Shadow Jedi. The battle seemed to last for hours and hours, many people dying, but the more deadly slaughter was yet to come.

As the battle raged on something unexpected and terrible happened. A ship orbiting the planet fired a strange and mysterious missile towards the planet. It blaze with blue flames speeding towards the planet. It?s made a noise so loud and obvious that nearly every participant in the battle stopped fighting for a minute and watched in confusion as it came closer and closer towards the planet. They watched on helplessly as it landed seemingly on the other side of the planet. The explosion was so loud that it made the soldiers hold their ears in discomfort. If the sound was an indicator of the explosion to come then it was

Biography -
---Personal History: Kallis was discovered as a baby on Dantooine during a Mercenary Raid. A group of Merecenaries had settled in on Dantooine, and moved into a rural farming area, in hopes of raiding the farms for valuables. Only months after Kallis was born, his family's farm was raided by this group, and his parents were killed. A Jedi Master was dispatched to Dantooine to investigate this threat, and possibly rid Dantooine of them. He did destroy this small group when he was attacked. Afterwards, he found Kallis in the wreckage and took him to Jedi Temple for hospitality. When Kallis was 10, he was discovered Force Sensitive and this Master took him on as his padawan. 14 years later, Kallis joined the war and served for 4 years. He was exiled when he was 28 for falling in love, but never showed at his trials. A month later he ventured out into the Galaxy to find his brother, who had escaped the raid, only to find him married to the one Kallis loved. The two fought, resulting in Kallis's three scars, but eventually, Kallis killed the two. For 4 years he has been a Shadow Jedi wondering the galaxy.

Biography
---Personal History: After a few years at the Jedi Academy, Kahn had to return home to help his family after his father was injured in an accident. Kahn continued training on his own awaiting the day when he would return to the academy. However, word came to Kahn from one the Masters to not return and to never carry his lightsaber. As time went on, Kahn followed the news of the absent Jedi. When his father was fully recovered Kahn set off to find the Jedi and learn what happened. Kahn was not on Coruscant during the final battle. Kahn searched for and eventually found his master, Kenshin. Kahn was officially knighted after rescuing Kenshin. Kahn and Master Kenshin spent most of the war in the Outer Rim territories. During the final battle Master Kenshin was on Coruscant, while Kahn was stationed on Naboo to protect the Queen. The chieftain Wookiee asked in Wookiee speak. ?They are nothing; they are just a small band of politicians who can?t let go that they can not control the galaxy anymore, because of them our planet and people have suffered in the last war, now I say we take back our planet from them, remove ourselves from their so called Alliance, and once again we can be a strong peoples!?

The entire room of other Wookiee chieftains stood up and started to roar and grunt back to the speaker, cheering him on, encouraging him. The noise could be heard from far away, the noise of cheering Wookies speaking in Wookiee speak to their new leader. Their relationship with the Galactic Alliance had gotten worse and worse ever since the end of the war. Kashyyyk had been ruined by the war and the Galactic Alliance was unable to help at all causing diplomacy to drop and now war was about to erupt between the Galactic Alliance forces stationed on the planet and the native Wookiees.

Two Grey Force-Users had been told to sneak up to the meeting and observe it. One was human and went by the name of Josh Mchalenm, who was one of the few to help the Wookiees. The other was the Noghri, Kire Kovdhe, who had arrived on the planet several days earlier. Both had no idea who had sent them the information to them to watch the meeting, and neither knew who the other was. Both had roughly masked their presence in the Force, though since they were both adept in the Force they would be able to easily sense each other.

Now was the time that Kashyyyk, [i]really[/i] needed their help.

[color=green]Kahn Salinger was still with the Queen on Naboo. Though the Queen had agreed to keep his status as a Jedi hidden for the time being. Ever since the war had ended the Queen had become paranoid about her safety, she felt as though Naboo was no longer safe under the Galactic Alliance and that there was no one to protect them from a large threat. Though so far here fears have proven to of be nothing but false apprehension.

Most of Naboo?s people were still concentrating on sustaining what they had rebuilt, and there were very few who still harboured thoughts of doing any acts of terrorism, at least in any of the cities. Humours had just begun to surface that mercenary camps from the war still remained, but after vigorous searching nothing turned up.

But another, more concerning rumour had also just started to pop up, a rumour that two fully-fledged Sith Lords were walking the streets of Theed. Meeting in alleyways and brainwashing civilians. The Jedi Kahn had heard these rumours.

These rumours could not have come at a worse time, as the public of Naboo had decided that it was time to vote for a new Queen or King. The stakes were high. During a small parade of the Queen walking through the streets greeting people, something terrible happened. As she was walking along talking to a local engineer, a projectile bolt was shot at her, from a high building. The bolt sunk into the Queens shoulder, she feel to the ground in pain, quickly passing out, possibly from poisoning.

In the distance two dark robed figures could be seen running along roof tops, jumping great distances to get from roof to roof.[/color]

Eliy Haure, had been forced by a mysterious stranger she had met at a cantina, splitting her up from her friend Diot, to deliver a package to the grotesque Garulga the Hutt. The package was digitally locked and was impossible to open, it was a small box roughly the size of a giza. Eliy had not been told what was in the box or if the mission could be dangerous, only that if she didn?t deliver it Diot would be kille

 

Kahn on Naboo

Kahn moved ahead of the Queen and her bodyguards, hoping to sense any potential danger in type to protect the Queen. Kahn moved casually through the crowd, reaching out with the Force for any danger. Kahn was seconds away from giving the all-clear message to the guards when he felt a disturbance in the Force. It was faint, but definitely there. Kahn stopped and focused his concentration.
"Sith."
Just as Kahn screamed a warning into his comlink he heard the commotion. He turned and saw panic around the Queen. The guards swarmed around her as bystanders fled in fear. Kahn quickly made his way to the Queen.
Kahn kneeled by the Queen, "What happened?"
"She's been shot with a projectile," Bahkor, the Queens Senior Officer sneered at Kahn. "So much for the legendary power of the Jedi."
Kahn ignored Bahkor's comment. Kahn had little interaction with Bahkor, but Bahkor did nothing to hide his disdain for Kahn. Whether it was aimed at Jedi in general, or himself in particular, Kahn did not know, but now was not the time to ponder. Where were they?" Kahn inquired desperate to find the Sith. Bahkor ignored Kahn, but his second-in-command, Janning, responded.
"They were seen on top of that building moving west across the rooftops," Janning pointed to a tall building several hundred yards away.
Kahn was sure the Sith would be long gone, but he had to check. Kahn moved quickly leaping on top of smaller buildings to avoid the rush of civilians. As he approached the building he reached out with the Force but could not sense the presence of any Sith.

Eliy looked around her, the republic commandos had stormed the Hutt's palace and had them surronded. She could side with them but that lowers her chance of finding Diot. If she sided with the Hutt, she would get shot before she could lay a finger on a wepon. She had no choice, she raised her hands into the air, she looked around and waited for the republic to make their moves. Were they corrupt? Would they take advantge of her? Would they shoot them all anyway? Thousands of thoughts passed her mind.

Kire walked from his small hutt that he had been staying in for the past few days and made his way towards the room with all of the Wookie chieftens. There was supposed to be someone else here but Kire wasn't sure who. He could feel something in the Force, but it could be something comeing from the sacred Shadow Lands.

The Noghri walked up a wooden ramp onto a higher platform. He could now hear the grows and snarls of Wookie speech. Kire emitted his own growl from his throat at being assainged to talk with Wookies. He shook his head and continued up the path, higher into the trees.

Kire could hear the Wookies clearly now, and that feeling in the Force grew stronger. He assumed it was the other Jedi that someone had sent over here. Nontheless, he grasped his lightsaber in his hand.

GM POST - Oz, just to point out that I kinda control who is on the security team, but I'll let you away with it and let you control them if you want, since I like the names and their attitudes.

Naboo

By the times Kahn started up to where the attackers were, they had both vanished. There presence in the Force had also disappeared. One of the security guards had managed to get a couple of shots at one of the Sith, causing something to fall off of them. The same security guard that had shot, him managed to climb up onto the building and retrieve the item, as he wsa climbing down though, he slipped falling onto his neck breaking it and killing him nearly instantly, the item still clutched between his fingers.

The Queen, was doing just about as badly, a medical team had come to her. Her heart and breathing rate seemed to be dropping. They quickly lifted her into a transport and took her to a medical centre. Once there she fell into a coma, though her vital signs stabled the doctors at the time were not able to do anything about it.

The item, still clutched in the security guards hand seemed to resemble some kinda of blaster, though of ancient design. Janning ran up to the body and stared at the blaster.

"Wow what's that?" He asked, "I wonder if that man that walks around in those robes knows anything about it, it looks ancient he seems to have a good knowledge about things though he seems to talk like some riddle box, Arlic's his name I think, heard of him?"

Born on Corellia to a refugee mother. His father was a pilot for the rebellion but died at the attack on the Death Star II. He was one of the twenty initial students in the Junior Jedi Academy that was setup by Luke. He was trained by Luke and other Jedi trainers in a class setting, and as a result was one of the Jedi?s who didn?t have a specific master. As a knight, he trained a few padawans and took up many missions, though he preferred not to fight. He was particularly skilled at turning people away from the dark side and eliminating dark force energy. Luke once noted that he was ?The Exorcist of the Order? Dunn became a Jedi Master. He never played a part in the war at all. Instead, he was on the surface of Corellia, as a village elder who settled disputes and organized village activities. He used his ship as a headquarters and as a plce to live.

Unknown Location, Possibly Tatooine

The GA soldiers quickly rounded up the rest of the guards of the palace, putting them all together before stunning them in one swift shot, the group collapsing to the ground in front of Eliy. Garulga seemed stunned and surprised that the team had taken over the palace so quickly. Still he stood high up on his platform, looking down on the team.

"What do you Alliance Slime want?" He asked in huttese.

"You are under arrest for involvement in the assassination of the head of the Galactic Alliance."

The hutt, laughed evilly in a dark, deep voice. Then pointed at Eliy.

"This is the one you are looking for, she had just been sent to assassinate me now"

The entire team surrounded Eliy, pointing their guns at her, set to stun. They looked ready to kill though, as if they were out to seek revenge for the death of their head of state. There fingers posed to shoot at Eliy at any second. But the leader of the team seemed to see that the hutt was somehow lying, he raised his blaster and shot the beast, watching as it fell onto the ground causing a large crashing sound.

"Bring her too, and that box.."

The soldiers attempted to grab Eliy to take her to their ship...

[color=sienna]Around one hundred stood in front of their leader. Bowing before him as if he were their god. Their Leader Ryan Marko, was incredibly corrupt and came in to power soon after the war ended. He nearly totally redirected Onderon's economy to the military. The planets army and navy growing by 100%. But even though he was not force sensitive he was nearly totally seduced by the darkside of the Force. And the corruption followed through to his soldiers, who often stole from stores threatening the owners with their weapons.

Fenneth Crow, was also on the planet of Onderon watching the soldiers perform in front of their leader. He had been instructed to go to the planet, by the so called leader of the Sith, who's name was only known by few of his closest Sith Brothers. But Fenneth had been asked by one of those Brothers to travel to the planet and assassinate the leader of the planet, so that the Sith could take it over and use the military for there own bidding.

But Fenneth had yet to accept the mission. He had two days to scout the area out and send a transmission back to Lord Zidix who had assigned him the mission.

After that the real fun would begin[/color]

Two bounty hunters, walked through the village, they wore extremely heavy armour and were more heavily armed than most Galactic Alliance soldiers. They scared away most of the people in the small village, forcing them to retreat to their houses.

Finally they made it to the ship and home of Dunn Esani, they knocked on the door of the ship.

"Are you Dunn Esani?"

Dunn was sitting in the crew quarters of The Crusader and meditating. He opened his eyes with a look of curiosity. He sensed footsteps about ten feet outside of his abode. Curious, they sound heavier than usual, almost as if they?re armored...

Knock..knock..knock

Dunn sprang to his feet and crept up to the door.

Are you Dunn Esani??

Dunn pushed the button to open the door and looked down at the two armored men, he was about three feet higher than them.

?Yes, I am Dunn Esani. The only Dunn Esani I know of at least. Curious though, I haven?t seen armed men in this village in, oh twenty years maybe? What a long time ago. That was right about the time when I...ahh, but young minds don?t care too much for an old Jedi?s stories. Anyway, what can I do for you two gentleman. If you?re here to kill me, it won?t be easy, however if you aren?t here to kill me, please excuse my abruptness and come inside and have some tea will you??

Dunn looked down at the men with sort of a grin in anticipation.

IC: Fenneth Crow
Onderon

Onderon is an untamed world, overflowing with every natural resource, absolutely ferocious creatures, and now the fastest growing army in the entire galaxy. And it was all under the control of one, well-feared leader, called Ryan Markos, who had only begun to tap into the boundless potential of the still wild planet.

Overlooking the wide and open courtyard of bleached grey stone hung a tall ledge of aged permacrete elegantly curving out to the open blue sky from the huge armed fortress.

The sentry no longer stood at his post.

He now lay motionlessly out of view from the world below, with wide, screaming eyes, and desperate hands clawing uselessly at his now crushed throat. Blood and fluid seeped from his open, choked mouth onto the permacrete in a final testimonial of his passage from the world of the living.

Now, another figure occupied the ledge. His all black cloak fluttered in the quiet wind.

Fenneth Crow sat easily with his legs crossed and his black-gloved hands slightly outstretched with his thumbs and forefingers closed, in some strange and mocking form of meditation.

He angled his head to the side and looked tentatively down at the courtyard far below filled with soldiers and furious trees that had forced through the thick permacrete and stretched up greedily to the sky.

Underneath an immense flag, stood Ryan Markos himself, surrounded on all sides by adoring and fully armed soldiers.

Apparently the creature was far too ambitious for the liking of the Sith.

Fenneth Crow continued to look on through cold yellow eyes underneath a pair of narrow black-rimmed lenses. In a confident, almost bored motion he pulled a holo-transceiver his gun belt from underneath his heavy black robes with one hand and activated the com unit.

"He'll be dead inside of twenty-four hours." He spoke off to the side with little emotion to his voice. He then added after a pause with a positively demonic smile, "And your new army will be quite ready for the taking."

Kahn on Naboo

As Janning examined the weapon, Kahn thought about the name he mentioned. "Arlic. The name doesn't sound familiar." Kahn walked over toward the edge of the rooftop and looked down where the Queen was being checked on. He turned back toward Janning, "You say he wears robes. Hmmm." Kahn's mind seemed to drift off for a moment. "Perhaps," Kahn continued as if he had not paused, "we should try to find Arlic and see if he can offer any information on the weapon.
