((GAJ, there were 4 MC-80a, 3 Corellian Corvettes, 3 NebulonB Frigates, and several smaller support ships. And basically the same types of ships at all four systems. remember, all four systems are pretty remote, except maybe for Malastare. i think they have a large spaceport or something.

and sorry about the 3 stardestroyer thing. ive only read TAB once and that was quite some time ago. i guess we can say that they were just passing by unless you wanna change it?

and don't worry, we know what we're doing

now, can we say that the battle is finished or would that be against the rules?))

**On the bridge of the 'Pride of Lorien' **

Kieran leaned back in his command seat, looking around the white bridge, flexing his mussles in anticipation. He glanced around at his officers. They were all faring differently, some excited, others more war hardened looked like they were just taking a stroll in the park. Kieran spoke up.

"Helm, time till reversion to realspace?"

Helmsman: "Two minutes sir."

Kieran nodded and straightened in his chair. "Allright gentlemen, lets see if that information is worth the credits we paid for."

His XO came up to his side. "Sir, all stations are reporting ready."

Kieran nodded again. "Very good."

Helmsman, "Revision in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..."

The Pride of Lorien came out of hyperspace on the border of the Bakura system, in the distance they could see the Rebel forces beggining to engage the Imperials.

Kieran analyzed the situation. "Tactical, launch gray squadron, Comm, hail the lead rebel ship."

On the forward viewer the 12 X-Wings from the Lorien took up a defensive position infront of the cruiser.

Comm: "Channel open sir."

"Rebel forces, this is Kieran Flar of the Pride of Lorien, is there any way we could be of service to fellow enemies of the Empire?"

Grand Admiral Jello sat hard at work at his desk in the Imperial Palace. It was all a mess. The great Palpatine dead, a Rebellion in full swing, and now some alien race barreling through the Outer Rim. Yet, confidence overcame the man, The Empire Would Prevail

His comm buzzed, "Sir, there is a Lord Budaki to see you."

"Who?" Jello questioned, "I do not know of any Lord Budaki."

"You will let me in," a voice called on the other side of the comm, barely audible.

"I will let you in," the secretary answered.

"What?" Jello protested, yet before he could finish the doors slid open and a large cloaked figure walked in. "Who the he--"

"I am Lord Budaki, a Lieutenant in The Glorious Empire," the figure said.

"What? You are not in uniform."

"Well sir, you see, I am not your average Imperial."

"So it seems, Lord bu...bu.."

"Budaki." He pulled back his hood, revealing that he was in fact an alien. His eyes glowed as if they surged with power. "You see Admiral, when he was alive, Lord Vader saw I had potential, so he spared me from his Jedi Purge. As the years passed by the Empire becaume prosperous, and Vader began to give me some training."

Jello's face showed his disbelief, "Oh really?"

Budaki continued, "However, one of my missions he sent me to recover some artifacts from an world in the old Sith Empire. When I arrived there, I not only found the relics, but i stayed there and learned from ancient texts an--."

"What does this have to do with me budaki? I am a very busy man."

"I have come here to inform you that i intend to restore the Sith Order, to serve the empire."

"Well.... Let me think about it, until then, i will have my secretary show you to a place where you can stay for the moment."

"Thank you sir, your consideration is greatly appreciated."

 

((since i dont think the Empire will send reinforcements anytime soon(from their thread) i'll go ahead and post further stuff.))

Ben was having caf and looking at the ensuing battle knowing all well that the victory was already theirs. The Rebels haven't had a victory for ages and this was a change. Then suddenly the Comm Officer woke him from his daydreams. The Officer said, "Admiral, we have a transmission from an unknown ship on the outskirts of the system."

Ben said, "Patch it through."

Holo:"Rebel forces, this is Kieran Flar of the Pride of Lorien, is there any way we could be of service to fellow enemies of the Empire?"

Ben said,"Kieran Flar? i heard of you. the infamous jedi pirate, right?"

Keiran: "The one and only. And i assume youre Admiral Ben Skywalker?"

Ben said, "yes, I am. However, the battle is finished. We don't need any help right now."

Keiran: "I'm not offering services for just this one battle. I'm offering my services to the Rebellion for all their battles."

Ben has a look of shock for not even a second when he said, "Very well. Bring a shuttle over. 3 Xwings will escort you to this ship."

Keiran: "Will do. Flar out."

After this conversation(by now 1 Star Destroyer has surrendered, while the other two escaped) Ben turns to his Captain. "Captain Dekad, send three Xwings to the ship on the outskirts and tell them to escort the shuttle."

Captain Dekad said, "Yessir. And on another good note, the planet has surrendered to us. Also, during your conversation, we have recieved information that Malastare and Xegobah were taken with little to no damage. But unfortunetly, at Surrp, they report heavy fighter losses and outstanding damage to their Corvettes and MonCal Cruisers..."

Ben interupted, "Did they take the planet?"

Then Captain Dekad said, "Yes sir."

Ben said, "alright then. I wish to speak to the Commander of the Taskforce at Surrp after my meeting with the jedi pirate.
is that understood?"

Dekad said, "Of course, Admiral."

After a second of looking around the bridge, Ben starts walking to the conferance room.

 

"Today, four planets were captures by the Rebel Alliance, Bakura, Surrp, Malastare and Xegobah." the newsreel said. "WHAT!?" Zaarin yelled. He got up, and walked to the Bluehawk, which was in the hangar. Zaarin took off, and headed for his flagship, the ISDII Tiger. Once in the hangar, he disembarked his Aggressor Assault Fighter and went to a turbolift. He zoomed up to the bridge. "Inform the Kuat Guard we are assaulting Bakura." the Caridan said. "Yes, sir." the droid captain said, taking out a comlink. "This is Tiger: all Kuat Guard ships prepare for hyperspace to Bakura." the droid said. Minutes later, the ISDs Tiger, Reckoning and Forger had leapt into hyperspace, along with the Lancer Frigates Cascade and Blue Ruin, and the Interdictor Bomb, and finally the Strike Cruiser Hurricane. Zaarin hoped that the defence emplacements and the Assault Frigates at the shipyards could fend off any attackers.

 

((Grand Admiral Jello, didn't you ALREADY declare martial law and nationalize trade and economy? Just seems somewhat redundant to do so again...))

High General Warlord_Ken sat in a command chair aboard the Nebulon-B Frigate Ice Slider. To his right stood Commander Onas Kaansari. His task force was enroute to Bespin, partly for some Tibanna gas and partly to free the Ughnaughts that reputedly had been enslaved by the Imperials.

He had to admit that with all of the stories going around him, what with Admiral Bterrik's assault at Sluis Van and Admiral Ben Skywalker's four-pronged attack, that he felt that he needed to get some fame and glory as well.

"General, we will revert in 1 standard minute."

"Good". Ken rubbed his hands together and went to get his troops ready.

The fleet came out of hyperspace. There were 4 Nebulon-Bs, 8 CR90 Corvettes and 6 Corellian Gunships. To face them there was only the Imperial garrison that Lord Vader had left behind, and out of that the only space-worthy craft were 40 TIE fighters that now rose to face the fleet. However, 40 TIEs could not hope to prevail, and as X-wings and Y-wings poured out the TIEs fate was quickly sealed.

After the TIEs defeat the starfighters began to set out to secure the rest of the planet, while Ken's ground forces as well as an accompanying squad of Y-wings focused on Cloud City. Most of the Imperial troops were there too, but a few had spread out, leaving CC with 7 AT-ATs, 5 AT-STs, and 720 troops.

The Y-wings began to target the big walkers, who returned fire but were a tad too slow to hit the Y-wings. The Y-wings also had tough shields and armor that negated the attack. Nonetheless, some pilots began to report problems, and soon one of the fighters spiralled out, and in desperation slammed his fighter straight into the head of an AT-AT. The beheaded walker slumped over and then crashed to the ground, crushing some 20 accompanying ground troops.

Soon the dropships landed, and Ken deployed a new nasty weapon: FR-10 SP Artillery units. With an incredible max range of 7 km and a powerful explosive damage (10D by scale of "Galactic Empire Data Bank"), the high whine of particle shells quickly filled the air. The shells were powerful enough to punch through AT-AT armor, at least in some force, and one of the AT-AT's died in a fiery explosion.

The ground forces suddenly turned their attention to this new threat, and Ken, aboard a stolen Chariot LAV, cried out "All right men, this is it."

The infantry and AT-PT walkers, along with Freelander medium repulsor tanks, moved forward. They began to slaughter enemy infantry while the repulsortank fire pounded away at AT-STs. The AT-ATs were the main threat, but the artillery helped pushed them back-to an extent. Ken winced as several of the artillery were destroyed, and since hull plating wasn't too great they were all the more vulnerable.

Nonetheless, the unwary Imperials were losing, and soon with only a few survivors left they retreated back to the garrison base, which Ken quickly surrounded. Realizing that they were to surrender or die, the Imps opted to surrender.

As victorious RA forces marched into the garrison base, Ken hurried over to the comm station and contacted his subordinate Colonel Kywa. "Colonel, this is Ken."

"Ah, General, congrats. We've faced similar success, albeit the resistance was less tough but we had no weapons capable of dealing with the walkers. Finally when they heard of the fall of the garrison they gave up."

"Good good. Is the planet secured?"

"Yes, sir."

"Excellent work, Colonel. Kenneth out." Ken slumped back in a chair, feeling as tired as he usually was after a battle. It could have been worse, a lot worse. Reminding himself that he considered war exciting and that he had chose it himself as his career, Ken punched the Galactic news station. The image of Grand Admiral Jello giving his propaganda speech appeared, and as Ken watched he began to curse.

 

Location- The Bridge of the MC-80a Flashpoint

The bridge was quiet. Captain Dekad just had a long talk with the imperial governor(quite a timid man, he might add) on Bakura through the Holocomm. And several minutes ago, the division of ground troops he had sent down earlier had reported success on securing the Garrison. Today was a long day, he said to himself, but it didn't mean that it was a bad day.

just then the Comm Officer walked up to him. A kid really. perhaps not even 20.

"Sir, we have reports that General Ken has attacked the planet of Bespin."

Dekad said, "What? Tell me you're joking."

"No sir. Here are the Reports." The kid handed Dekad the battle statistics and looked at his superior nervously.

Then Dekad, after a few moments of examining the data, said, "Very well. Go back to your station and report anything new that comes in at once."

"Yessir"

Dekad carefully looked at the data and walked toward the conference room where Ben and Keiran were talking.

Once there, Dekad knocked quietly on the door and waited to be admitted.

"Come in." Dekad opened the door and stood there. Then Ben said,"What is it Captain?"

Dekad said, "Sir General Ken has attacked the garrison at Bespin."

Ben looked at him with an almost surprised look on his face. "Excuse me for a moment Keiran."

"Of course, Admiral."

Ben and Dekad both walked out of the room and into the hallway.

"It's all right here sir. Statistics and everything per orders" said Dekad.

Ben sighs."This is most unfortunate. All right, I want you to put a call out to our entire fleet saying that all attack plans must now be reported and approved by myself or FID. And contact General Ken and tell him to head on over to Bakura immediately. I also want you to contact Dobski. Tell him to take his fleet to the places I told him about. He'll know where. Got all that?"

Dekad said, "Yessir."

With that, Captain Dekad started walking back toward the bridge thinking, the day had just gotten even more interesting. All the while leaving Ben to thoughts of his own.

 

PoT sat back in his chair and sighed. A deep, long, vexing sigh.
"This is not good...not good at all."
PoT was looking down at reports from his militia agents on Xegobah, Malastare, Bakura, and Surrp. The reports were sketchy, but indicated a wholesale defeat on all fronts. Granted they were merely small, unimportant rim worlds, but the defeats would cost far more in the public eye then anything else.
Standing from his chair, he began to pace around his office, deep in thought. What did it all mean? These Rebels moved with a confidence, an assuredness that they had previously lacked.
Pulling up some files on suspected rebel ringleaders, he let his gaze wander. Although - to his knowledge - he possessed no Force sensitivity, his gut instinct had to this day never failed him.
Which is why he took special notice of how his heart skipped a beat on the file simply headed "FID".

clicking the comm, he decided to take a gamble. "Ensign, get my DarthMalt. I need to speak to him about a covert op i am planning."

the response seemed unnerved. "Yes Sir. Ah Sir, we have a transmission just in, from project Genesis Sir."

Kane's blood ran cold. "Of Course Ensign. put it on my screen, and then execute your orders. out."
The holoscreen winked on, and Commander
Digel came on screen, a trickle of blood running down his forehead. "Sir.."

PoT leapt up. "No...what's happening soldier?" fearing an answer.
"Sir, Rebel terrorists have attacked Bespin sir. I was in the city when it happened, i have escaped to the complex, and it remains undetected, but if they settle into the garrison here, project Genesis may be breached."

PoT understood, as he nodded frantically, watching his master plan of the Empires triumph teeter on the edge. "That plan means everything, don't compromise security. I will get Bespin back, i assure you. PoT out."

turning away from his screen, he didn't see DarthMalt walk in. shoving the profile of FID into DarthMalt's hands, he strode past. "Cant talk now. review this and tell me what you think. I have business to attend to."
charging out of his office and into the Imperial Palace proper, he activated his comlink once more. "Get executioner squadron mobilised and on station. And get me GAJ. now."

Turning a corner, his comlink chimed, testiment to how devoted their leader was in responding so quickly. "Your Excellency, it is I, PoT. I must inform you of a new attack, more recent then the 4 co-ordinated ones. the timing of it is odd, but that is of unimportance. what is important is that Rebel stewardship of Bespin can and will hamper the war effort in a way beyond both our comprehnsions. i can not give details over a comlink, but you will have to trust me Sir, we can't let the rebels have that planet!!"

OOC: remember, that conversation was between me and an NPC on an encrypted holonet broadcast. No one can suddenly start searching for Project Genesis. I assure you it is well hidden.

GAJ, i will need a comlinked reply at your convinence.

 

(Ben, in the future please do not post messages or replies for me without my consent, because now that you have filled in me saying every I have almost nothing to do. I'll go with it this time but in the future I will ignore them.)

Kieran leaned back in the chair in Ben's office as the Captain and Ben walked out. HE pulled out his comlink and also a static generator which would block any attempts to listen in.

"Kieran to Bridge."

-"Bridge here Captain, whats up?"-

"I believe there may be something going on in Bespin, send out some feelers over the net and keep an eye on our stocks in Tibanna gas."

-"Yes sir."

"Kieran out." He shut off the comm link and scrambler and pocketed them both and sat there looking around at the office while waiting for Ben's return.

 

((what do you mean? ? i only had you say three words which don't even have importance. i just didn't want you sitting there dumbfounded while i go talk with the Captain about an attack on Bespin. I did it for the best. and Trust me, whenever i do say a part for another character, it is unimportant and brief. the only purpose i say it in the first place is to keep things realistic. i hope you dont take things too seriously with this RP ))

BOOSTER took the air in and let it out. He could feel the force gathering within the temple.

A great darkness had awakened, seemingly from nowhere.

The sith had returned.

**aboard the Pride of Lorien**

The Lambada class shuttle slowly came into the hangar and landed, as Kieran stepped out techs ran to service the returning X-Wings.

A young mechanic walked up and handed him a PADD with the status report and then darted off.

The Pride of Lorien was still at optimal conditions considering it's stripped down condition. Though the Rebels had promised to soon change that.

Kieran shrugged and walked to the turboshaft. "Bridge." As it sped along he contemplated if he was doing the right thing, joining the Rebellion. They were more pirates right now than legimite Government, but with the invasion of these Vong, the Empire would have to fight wars on two fronts, which was never a good thing. No, the Rebels would win, hopefully allowing the Empire to beat these Vong back first.

Kieran straightened as the turboshaft opened onto the bridge. His crew saluted and then returned to their stations. The rebels had achieved many victories today, there was much intelligence coming through from his sources as to exactley what had happened.

Kieran turned to the communications officer. "Tell the Admiral that we are awaiting his orders. I will be in my office."

"Yes sir." came the reply.

 

And no High Command Imps are on?

Plus considering I'm the head of the RA Army I figured I could have a little more power. Is what I did so wrong?))

His eyes squinted open and he felt greatly disturbed. The Sith High Priest arose from the solid floor and his eyes squinted again. He felt almost confused. During his deep, dark meditation, he had felt the presence of a Jedi, and that was very unusual. How could anyone know of this temple? And how could anyone know of my presence here? he thought. He walked up the steps of his temple into a room high up in the North Tower. The sky was growing dark, and looked out the mighty window, staring at the magnificent stars. He was far from the ground.

The room was home to many ancient Sithly artifacts and other Sith readings. There were a number of halicrons there, and a most perfect place for meditation. The Sith High Priest sat once more, hopeing he wouldn't be disturbed again by this possible "impostor". He closed his eyes and entered a deep meditation.

AJ, I'm in the RP as a merchant who occaisonally does projects and strikes for the Empire. The Kuat Guard is my defence force, just incase some Yuzzies decide to bust in, or pirates or rebels or whoever has the guts to attack the shipyards. Here is a ship list for the Kuat Guard:

The Kuat Guard came out of hyperspace near Bakura. "Tell the Bomb to activate their gravity wells. I don't want our prey to slip through my fingers." Zaarin said, sitting in his command chair on the Tiger's bridge. Just as was ordered, the Interdictor powered up its gravity wells, to make sure noone escaped. "Launch starfighters...tell them to concetrate fire on the frigates. As for the Lancers, tell them to go for starfighter squadrons. The Hurricane will go for the corvettes, and then aid the the starfighters. As for the Thunderer and Forger, tell them to pick a cruiser and vape it, but leave the Deadly Surf ((if this ship isn't at Bakura please tell me)) alone. We're going to disable it with ion cannons." the Caridan ordered. "Once the rebel fleet is destroyed, land ground troops." he continued.
Those rebels don't stand a chance.
