The Sith fleet emerged from hyperspace, but not in the Vortex system.

Budaki looked at the charts. He was way off. The ship's hyperdrive must have had a problem or two. He instructed his NecroTroops to investigate.

They were in deep space, far from any trade routes or planets.

 

Dugal ducked as dirt exploded from above him, a timely reminder that the battle was not yet over.

He saw the High General approach, yet was not surprised in the least.
"High General! So Director Lavos was right? He wanted me to tell you he apologises for his earlier mistake, he only recently worked out your true intent. But this battle is looking good regardless eh? I just recieved word from the Director, the Warmasters ship is rubble. Do you wish to take command of this battle? We have Droideka's holding the frontline whilst the stormies and AT-ATs stay back and take out targets of oppurtunity." He had to raise his voice as the screams picked up again further foward in the battle field.

"Those screams you here are the Genesis troops. They are ripping through the enemy lines."

Ducking after another explosion, Dugal got to work on his Comm again.
"I have to work on getting the fleet above ready to take out the YV retreat if and when they do. Do you accept command of our forces?"

Kansas Navy smiled upon to himself. Today had been a productive day. The profits being taken from Kerane's Folly were overwhelming, and a good portion of the credits generated were going to creating the defense of the planet.
First, a starfighter base would be created on the moon of Eriadu, and would house 3 squadrons of Defenders and a planetary ion cannon. Of course, it would be heavily defended. On the ground, 10 squadrons of Defenders and 4 new X-wing groups were being deployed to many bases. The bases of which, were being refurbished and heavily fortified.
Last, the Alliance had bought 4 new LNR-II planetary turbolaser batteries and 2 GenCOre Level II planetary shields, which would envelope the entire planet in a double shield.

Last, the money would be spent on training crack security forces, making them loyal and honorable. Along with new equipment for stopping domestic criminals.

Yes, Eriadu was going to be the gem of the Alliance.

And he still hadn't organized a defense fleet.

"Continue as is, Commander." Mitth replied as he listened to the battle and pondered quickly on the new knowledge that Shok Halycron is dead. Didn't even last a month. Pathetic. He thought and shook his head.

"Tell me the last positions of Nithrak Tewl and Yun Yuuzhan." Mitth asked as he walked with Dugal through the trenches back toward the area he came in.

"They were last seen riding Rancors near the canyon." Dugal replied. "I can get you over there asap, if you wish it?"

"No, I have a ride." Mitth replied as he just heard the familiar whine of his ship over the noise of the battle. "Just keep the enemy distracted long enough."

"Yes, sir." With that Mitth boarded his ship and headed toward where Nithrak Tewl is. He stood on the open ramp, waiting for Nithrak's figure to appear within his sights.

He saw the warrior on his Rancor Tank giving out orders. He pulled out his knife and hesitated for the right moment to leap. The Silent Wolf was almost ontop of Nithrak and his Rancor Tank, Mitth took that moment to leap from the ramp for the unsuspecting Nithrak.

Warleader Nithrak Tewl turned his ugly scarred head at the sound of a ship passing over, his eyes grew wide as he saw the falling figure of Mitth heading straight for him. The Chiss General smacked into the warrior and both fell from the Rancor, landing on the ground hard.

"I do believe we have a feud to finish, Warleader." Mitth said, standing back up, cracking his neck and back vertabrae, and briefly inspecting the blood on his knife. "I do believe this is your's." He gestured with the bloody knife at Nithrak.

"I knew you could not be trusted!!" Nithrak hollared and readied his staff.

"By the way...dear honor brother Shoky is dead." His trade mark feral smirk appeared on his lips.

Meanwhile, The Silent Wolf came around on an approach vector and attacked the Rancor with its Charric cannons.

 

Tu'kla's shuttle exited from hyperspace near To-Phalion Base and swooped down into the hangar. As soon as exited he was met by Commander Millrarn

Millrarn: Sir! During your absence, we have perfected the Vorknyx Generator and Projects Mantaris & Sparrowhawk!

Tu'kla: Excellent. May I inspect the finished products?

Millrarn: Certaily, sir.

Millrarn showed the High General the improvements on the Sparrowhawk Carrier and the Mantaris Fighter, both came equipped with the new Vorknyx Generators

Tu'kla: Commander, how did you get the sensors to penetrate the Cloaking Shield? And the Hyperspace problem?

Millrarn: The Sensor Problem was easy to fix sir. We added retractable sensor blisters on both models which are the 'eyes' of the craft when it is under cloak. As to the hyperspace problem, we interlinked the Vorknyx Generator with the Hyperspace Engines, which nullified the problem encountered with earlier versions of the Claoking Shield. Also your ship Queen of Blades is still in one piece and is waiting in Hangar Bay One.

Tu'kla: Good work Captain Millrarn

Millrarn: Thank you sir. Also with the amount of raw materials in the asteroid belt we have produced 3 squadrons of Mantaris Fighters and one Sparrowhawk Carrier. They also await your command.

Tu'kla: Excellent Captain. I will be leaving now. But I want you to disband To-Phalion Base and evacuate all non-essential personell. A Convoy will arrive here soon to attach a hyperdrive to To-Phalion and take the defences to To-Phalion's new location.

Half an hour later with the new Sparrowhawk Carrier 'Sparrowhawk' with the non-critical personell from To-Phalion Base and the three Mantaris squadrons; 'Mantaris', 'Otolla' & 'Ankura' and the Queen of Blades arrayed themselves to jump into hyperspace for Yaga Minor. A minute later they made the jump

 

Den was building a special missile at Storm Eagle. It had a miniature ejector seat, life support, and some incredibly high explosive. This shall do nicely. Den thought.

 

Miri was walking around the Imperial Recruitment Center.

"Hello, I've been conscripted from Mykr before the Vong attacked. What is my job?"

A tall man grabbed, "We'll show you."

Miri smiled, but had a look of alarm on his face.

 

The fleet arrived at Kashyyk afeter traveling from sluis Van. They were ready for some real action and wanted to use this new fleet they had. However if they were to pull off these hit and run missions they would need to leave some of the slower ships behind.

"Comms Tell the 2 MC-80B's and our escort carriers to remain here. I will keep remote command of them however commanders are given lee way to join in any major attack or defence of this sytem."

"Yes ma'am. sending orders now. All captians acknowlage and are merging with the defence forces."

" I also want to divide us into Squadrons. Alpha Squad will have MODSTRKC- The Icewind, STRKC- Atlantis, ASFRG- Luanna, Corvette Jamson, and NEBB's- Galor and Rhino
Beta Squad will have STRKC's- Wraithlord and Eldar, ASFRG- Falcon, Corvette Vyper, and NEBB's- Marine and Fire
Gamma Squad will have STRKC's- Gaurdian and Dire Avenger, Corvette Scorpion, and NEBB's- Dragon and Spear

"Sending squadron assignments now. All Commanders Acknowlage and are standing by."

"Alpha Squadron is with me so i'll give them orders later. Beta Squadron yuo are to go to Yavin and then from there got to Dathomir or Wayland and attack untill heavy Riesistance is met then you are to flee and return here. Gamma Squadron you are to go to Anobis and then from their attack Ithor. AGain attack untill heavy resistance arrives then flee back to here."

Beta & Gamma squad commanders get their orders and hed off into hyperspace.

"As for us Alpha Squad we are to go to Vortex as their is a battle going on their if it is over and the vong are gone we are to ask the imperial commanders wether they will pursue or if they would like us to do that. in any case we will follow the vong back to their territory and attack untill we feel the need to retreat back to here."

Alpha Squad heads off to hyperspace finnaly ready to get in on the action.

OOC: whew now that that is done i need defence data for Wayland, Ithor, and a status report of the battle at Vortex. Plz PM me these things. Also i need the stas on the YV ships like their Imperial Equivalents so i can post Accurate Damage.

 

OOC: Basically, the battle at Vortex is over. I would submit that the Galactic Alliance won, with a few casualties, but after the Rebels and Hapans got there, the Vong's lost tremendous ground. I think that we should call the battle, Vong ships completely destroyed, and losses on the other side...but that's just me. AD, you were a day late and a dollar short...you apperantly arrived at Vortex BEFORE you even gave the order. I would also like to say that your hyperspace travel was quite spectacular, being as Vortex is quite a ways away...in fact, across the known galaxy from Sullust. That in fact, is the reason that I ordered you to Kashyyk...Because you would arrive too late to do anything...please follow my orders Commander.

GAJ, I think that since we are now allied against the Vong, it would be a good gesture to release WK...what do you think?

 

The Queen of Blades and the Imperial flotilla exit from hyperspace at Yaga Minor. His comm pinged. he flipped a switch and was recieving a communique from Grand Admiral Jello. Tu'kla read it and opened a link to Fleet Admiral Thokas at Yag'Dhul

Tu'kla: Admiral! I want the Twelve Imperial-class Destroyers from the Sullustan Fleet to go to Yaga Minor to rendevous with my fleet. You will stay at Yag'Dhul and take over the System's Fleet.

Thokas: Yes, High General.

Tu'kla cut the link and contacted Vice Admiral Sage

Sage: Sir, welcome to Yaga Minor. What can I do for you?

Tu'kla: I want Probe Droids deployed to Dubrillion, Garqi and the Dantooine Systems. I want ten droids sent to each system

Sage: At once, sir.

Half an hour later 30 probe droids shot out from the Teflaris's hangar bay towards thier assigned target

OOC: The Twelve ISDs will arrive at Yaga Minor in about 12-15 hours time IRL.

The Probe Droids will arrive when I make my next post tomorrow.

 

*Yun noticed the ship over head and the figure fallling from it. It was Mitth, he had betrayed them and was after Nithrak. Yun leapt from his rancor and ran to the where the Warleader and the Chiss were*

"Nithrak! We need to leave, quit playing games and kill him!"

*Yun waited until the two warriors met in an lock of weapons before he rushed in and threw Mitth back into the thick of the battle with the Force*

"Get up Warleader. We should be leaving now."

 

OOC: Dear god, this has turned into a royal mess. Shok/Jace please pm me and let me know what's going on with YV leadership, and if you're coming back.

IC:
Nithrak looked at the blood running down his left arm, and called his amphistaff to his hand.

"Filthy human" said Nithrak "Shok was a fool to think you could ever be trusted. Your species is wrought with fickle behavior and an unerring ability to jump ship when the odds are against you. Perhaps this is why you are even now in the midst of a civil war?"

"Shut up." replied Mitth as he slammed a booted foot into Nithrak's midsection.

The Warleader rolled to his feet and stepped towards the Imperial, oblivious to the thousands of creatures swarming towards him...

 

OOC:You're the new Warmaster, I'm the Warleader, and Cortex is the new General.

OOC: Sheesh. this is becoming a big mess all over.... hard to keep track of who has what forces and such. When I am done with midterms on Friday I will sort this all out and try to make a list for all on who has what ect. Till then, here is my short post.

Moria Base

The Convoy to Eriadu returned sucessfully with the 1 million credits. Now that this trade had been established with the Alliance, there would be steady incom for the Raiders. With these credits, under false identities, the Morian Raiders bought a small fleet of freighters. They would arrive soon. Meanwhile the Orthanc and Excellsior departed Moria Base on their way to go 'aquire' another target, while gaining more information. Construction continued on the Gravity Well generator/projectors. The previous 2 generators were being installed on the Pride of Lorien, and spaces were being made to accomadate up to 4 more gravity wells.

The Wraith and Mithril both departed as well on diplomatic missions to seperate factions of the Gallactic Alliance.


OOC: Should be able to post once more tonight around 4, and maybe once at 8 EST.

 

OOC: I am almost at the shipyards.

IC:

Vice Admiral Bravo stared out at the screaming blue star lines races about his ship, from the bridge. Captain Jonesy came up behind him.

Jonesy: "Admiral sir."

Bravo turned to face the captain.

Bravo: "Yes Captain Jonsey?"

Jonesy: "Sir we are one day away from the shipyards. All ships have reported in and things are running well."

Bravo: "Good job Jonesy. Any thing else?"

Jonesy: "Yes sir. Mr. Green is wanting to talk to you."

Bravo: "Has he finally cracked?"

Jonesy: "No sir. He wants to talk to you ASAP. But sir, he wants to talk to you alone."

Bravo: "Strange. If he had any Vong weapons on him, I would of felt it. Although the Vong did use machinary once or twice to contact people. Have a full squadron of troops right out sside that door. I don't like this."

Jonesy: "Sir when will you meet him?"

Bravo: "When I can. Probally in 2 or 3 hours, after my shift is over."

Jonesy: "Yes sir."

Captain Jonesy bowed his head and headed off to his station.

Unlike most naval and army crews, Bravo had his crew skilled in Imperial, Rebel, Vong, C.S.A., and Hapans officer greetings and slauting a officer. Bravo prefeared the Imperial slaute, with a Vong officers disaplene mixed in. Not only was his crew loyal to the Rebel Alliance and him, they were all hand picked. The Galliant had a few Imperials who defeacted, but Bravo never really trusted them and had them reassigned to an MC-80 in his fleet.

 

OOC: This next thraed is mostly offical. The Jedi Master I am using has not been used yet in the RP fourm. I asked the Game Master, and I haven't got a response back yet from him. But I can't wait no longer. So here it is.

IC:

The 6th Tactical Combat Fleet was still a 3/4 of a day away from the shipyards. Vice Admiral Bravo was about to go see Mr. Green when his comm link sounded.

Vice Admiral Bravo: "Yes?"

Senior Communations Officer: "Sir you have a private message for you."

Vice Admiral Bravo: "It will have to wait."

Senior Communations Officer: "Sir the sender tells me to tell you that he is Jedi Master Ikrit."

Vice Admiral Bravo: "No...it...it....can't be. Officer, reroute the message to my private chambers."

Senior Commuantions Officer: "Already done sir."

The Vice Admiral took a seat and touched the hologram projector button. A imagine of the Jedi Master apeared.

Vice Admiral Bravo: "How...who are you?"

Jedi Master Ikrit: "I am Jedi Master Ikrit, learner to the great Yoda and now master to you. I come to complte your training."

Bravo: "You were the one I saw so many years ago, the one who talked to my parents?"

Ikrit: "Your memory serves you well. I am here from Jedi Master Yoda's request to train you. My master is dead now, but he hopes like Luke Skywalker, you will bring the Jedi back."

Bravo: "Where should I meet you?"

Ikrit: "You will know soon enough."

The imagine of the old Jedi Master faded away.

 

OOC: There is a Galactic Alliance? When did the threaty go though?

 

"And for your information...Nitty...I am NOT human." Mitth ducked below a overhead swing from Nithrak and pushed forward, the blade of his knife slicing into the vonduum crab armor. He let his momentum take him past Nithrak and spun around to face the warrior.

"Never the less, you are a lying backstabbing swine." Nithrak spat and attackd with a stab then a strike from the tail end of his weapon. Mitth sidestepped to avoid the stab, but failed to dodge the tail as it sliced cleanly through his chest armor. "Ha! Your armor fails you this time!"

"Maybe so, but your preceptions have failed to notice them." Mitth pointed behind Nithrak.

"I won't fall for such an old trick."

"Your loss than." Mitth replied as the first of the Genesis Project smashed its blade like weapon, flat side against Nithrak's side. Nithrak stood and glowered at the abomination of what looked like a human and Yuuzhan Vong crossover.

"He's mine!" Mitth spat at the thing but it ignored him. The Chiss General leapt onto its back and stabbed his knife into its neck. It fell to the ground dead as a gray stone. "Now where were we, Nithrak Tewl." Mitth faced the warrior, unholstering his blaster and switching it back to kill.

"Ah yes, time for you to meet your maker." A single ruby bolt sped toward the winded Nithrak Tewl. The next thing Mitth knew he was lying on his back several feet away from Nithrak and the familiar voice of Yun Yuuzhan could be heard.

Bloody hell? How dare he intervene! Mitth thought angrily and resumed his footing. "Stay out of this Yun Yuuzhan!"

 

OOC: This is all rather confusing...I'll probably be back for good tomorrow, since I have easy finals on Thursday...and, uh, I HATE FINALS!!! x-(

And GAJ where are you taking me? Right now all of my PC and NPC characters are "taking vacations".

 

OOC: Simply unbelievable is all I can really say about all this.

Nithrak nodded to Yun. Though normally he would have been upset at the intervention, Yun had as much claim to Mitth as Nithrak did.

Nithrak was about to attack the Imperial when he was swarmed by the Genesis creatures...

OOC: What Galactic Alliance? No one answered the first time, so here it is again.

 

Lieutenant Baron_Fel squeezed the life out of the vilip that sent the message that the warmaster was dead and Vortex was lost.

He would ready his men for battle as reports were coming in that the infidels were readying for an attack into Yuuzhan Vong occupied space.
