OOC: Dobski, you were late. The battle in itself would have taken an hour, maybe 2. You were at least 3 hours away from there. And you left Bilbringi long after the battle had already started. Therefore you would be more than an hour late.

OOC: If the position is still open, I'd like to be the Vehicles & Vessels GM. I'm thinking of starting a thread where we could post all of our creations, do you think DarthAttorney would find this acceptable?

And again I'm sorry about how I overreacted to the Battle of Sullust. It was really a small detail, we won anyway, and I think I just take this RP way too seriously.

Also, how are we supposed to decide just how Imperial-loyal a given planet is? Often times it seems kinda iffy to me. For example, Sluis Van; I mean wasn't it Republic-loyal in HttE, when GA Thrawn attacked? It's been awhile, so I can't remember that book that well but I think it was the only book in which SV was even a setting.

((I think thats a great idea, WK! That way people could find out the stats for all these ships that are fanmade and some of the more obscure official ones.))

Zaarin's datapad started to wink at him. Zaarin picked it up. What he read shocked him. He was now in the Imperial military! His dream had come true! The Caridan smiled. He, General Zaarin, had orders...apparently Kuat was being fortified. He read over the orders, and what was to be put where in the system. I can do that. Zaarin thought. "Whats the closest system?" Zaarin asked. "Vortex, sir." a droid said. "Hmmm...take us out of hyperspace as soon as it is safe." the Caridan said. Minutes later, the ship came out into realspace. No planets, just deep space. Still, better than reverting into a star. "Take us to Kuat." Zaarin ordered. Moments later, the ship was back in hyperspace, but this time bound for Kuat, not Vortex.

OOC: That was a typo. There is no entity called the "Galactic Alliance.

WK, you are on the Dreadnaught Galaxy . I cannot tell you where you are going, but know this.

It is illegal to hold prisoners in a time of truce.

Grand Admiral Jello was a mere week from his destination, while the rest of his force would go on ahead to the second zone.

Upon closer inspection of the Dreadnaughts' systems, it was a wonder they had risen out of the sands of Ratava at all, much less made two hyperspace jumps. Budaki shook his head in dismay as a NecroTrooper reported the damage.

It would take weeks to repair. Longer than Budaki had patience for. So with that, Budaki boarded his ship Counterpoint along with six NecroTroopers and Naha. He also signaled for one of the dron barges carrying part of his army to join him. He set his course for Siydox, a nice jungle world where he could wait out the repairs. He instructed the rest of the fleet to go to Siydox when he gave the signal.

Budaki's ship darted off through hyperspace

    *********************************************

Naha waited for the right time to act. Budaki was asleep and the NecroTroopers were up at the bridge. It was still a long trip to Siydox. She got out of her binders using a technique she had learned while she had studied Twi'lek dancing.

She crept into the Holonet Transciever room and prepared to send a message. She set it to where anyone within range could pick it up.

"Hello, to all who can hear this, my name is Naha. I am being held by Budaki, the Dark Lord of the New Sith Order. We are headed to Siydox in the Cliffican Cluster. Budaki was the one responsible for the Asteroid attacks on Topwara and he butchered my village of B'horn. I plead with anyone that can hear this to please rescue me. Budaki is insane!"

She ended the message and crept back into the room where she was being held captive and slipped back into her binders.

OOC: Ok all, some think I am being harsh on Budaki, but here are my reasons total:

    Against him personally:

Pulling a fleet out of no where with no textual evidence to back said fleet's existence up, while there is evidence pointing to no such fleet existing, such as the Sith would have called apon such a fleet to help in the battle agaisnt the Jedi.

Just using his Sith powers as a quick way to get power in the RPG, he did not earn/develop the powers in any way. He just started off saying he had the powers of a Sith Master. Does this mean we can just say the Alliance has a dozen Jedi Masters stowed away somewhere?

A fleet of such age as Budaki's would not have been able to take off, or opperate without the useage of massive shipyards and billions of Credits. My evidence? the Cu'unthor. Look in Courtship of Princess Leia, and the state that giant Jedi training ship was in.

    Against having Sith/Jedi:

If there is a unbalance, it is massive, like current conditions. One Sith, no Jedi Masters. Makes it unfair for regular game play since normal characters don't have a chance against them. This promotes more god moding, while as with and RPG of all normal characters, there is just the prob of people forcing hits, calling up massive fleets, ect. With Sith/Jedi god moding, any accusation of god moding and they say that it is just part of their powers.

Sith/Jedi characters are mainly used by people wanting quick power without having to earn it.

Dugal paced back and forth along the trenches, raising his arm to shield away the sun.
The front had gone back, as the Yuuzhan Vong ranks broke into a loosely organised retreat. He saw General Mitth in the think of it, as well as Lavos' Genesis hordes.
The Chiss ship continued to strafe the enemy, but they continued to race toward the horizon.

"get a division of troops and AT-AT's to accompany the Droideka's to the rear of the enemy. bottle them up, i don't want anyone to escape! Continue to push them back!"

The Carnage was evident. the Battle continued to rage.

As he looked above to investigate a stray sound, a smirk formed on his lips.
    Victory was assured.
The TIE Interceptor and Defender squadrons roared in from above, blasting and strafing the enemy formations.

    It was a glorious day.

    --------------------------------------------
    OOC: WildWookiee, I concurr.

    Lavos.

Standing on the bridge, he watched as the Hapan ships continued to crush the remenants of the YV fleet. His DSDs continued the interdictor field, trapping the enemy in the slaughter yard.
The Rebel and ISD II fleets swooped through the light cruiser rubble, blasting anything that looked even barely functional, Lavos allowed a smile.
    He had done it.
The Vong had suffered a terrible defeat, and best of all....
    Shok was dead!
Turning to Reder, he let a smile bloom. "Captain, we have WON! do you understand the importance of this moment? This day shall live on...in infamy!!"

Reder allowed a faint smile. "But Sir, what shall become of me?"

Director Lavos allowed a crafty smile. putting a transmission through to Inquistor Tavira, he sent Reders profile.
    She would do nicely.
"I have a place in the Empire for you Reder, you are be part of my Project Corrupt."

    "Corrupt? what is it?"

"You will soon see my dear Reder, but for now, we must finish the ground battle." Turning to an aide, he signaled the Starfighter station. "Send all spare squadrons to the surface, and secure the sky and strafe the ground!"

    "Yes Sir!"

Lavos sighed as he stood back towards the viewport, observing the twisted remains of a DSD.
A timely reminder that even the most great of victories came at a price. A heavy price.

"Contact the Vortex Government, and inform me them the space battle is won and the ground battle is nearly finished. Tell them to ready anti-aircraft weaponary to shoot falling debris from the sky also."

Lavos sat back in his command chair, waiting for it to be complete.

    It was a glorious day.

Dobski tells his whole fleet that they will be going straight to Kuat.Dobski says his goodbyes to everyone.

Dobski sets a course for Kuat and his fleet was off.Just as he entered hyperspace he got a tranmission from Budaki,he passed it on to Bterrik,GAJ,GAP,FID,and PoT.He also sent it to 2 fleet,so the Jedi could prepare.AD

The Tiger reverted to realspace at Kuat. It seemed Operation Fortress was well underway. Already the Kuat system had been locked down. The Interdiction wolfpacks, as Zaarin called them, were sitting just outside the system, waiting to intercept any undesirables entering the system. 5 DSDs to a wolfpack, they were all spread out to have maximum effect but with minimum ships. The shield corridors were being set up, as were more Golan III stations, gun emplacements, free floating tractor beams and Zaarin's pride, the Kuat Squadron of ships, 20 ISDIIs, 8 DSDs, 5 Escort Carriers, 10 LFRGs, 30 MFRGs and 10 VSDIIs. Again, Zaarin's datapad winked at him. It was the Grand Admiral again, requesting he launch an assault on Mykyr. Well, something to do. Zaarin thought. "Prepare the Kuat Squadron for hyperspace to Mykyr." the General said.

The special missile was complete. Apparently it was to be sent to Siydox, where it would rendezevous with a large fleet. "Prepare a Sentinel Landing Craft, ((SLC for short, ok?)) NOW." Den said. Some droids scurried around and soon an SLC was there and ready to go. Den loaded the missile onto it, and got into the cockpit. "Tell the team I'm going to Siydox." Den said, closing the ramp and taking off. Soon he was in hyperspace bound for Siydox.

Tu'kla: Administrators, I would like you to produce the new Imperial designs I have talked to you about. I most likely will need them after the next battle which is coming up soon. I expect them to be ready after the battle. Tu'kla out.

OOC: I need to clear up a couple of things before I decide where I'm going to go from here.

    1) What type/how many YV ships are left in orbit around Vortex? (Jace/Shok may have to answer this) and PLEASE don't say they've all been destroyed. (I honestly don't see how that would be possible)

    2) When are we planning on starting a new thread? Just curious as to how soon this whole thing needs to be wrapped up.

OOC: I have arrived at Sluis Van. From here, the 6th Tactical Combat Fleet should be ready to set sail by Late Monday night. This might seem like a long time, and it is, but the 6th Tactical Combat Fleet is very heavily damaged. Plus I won't be here from Friday until Monday (camping trip).

    IC:

The 6th Tactical Combat Fleet roared out of hyperspace in front of Sluis Van. A young officers voice came over the intercom of the SD Galliant.

Young Officer: "Star Destroyer Galliant sumbit clearance codes."

Galliant's communations senior officer: "Roger flight command."

Young Officer: "Welcome to Sluis Van. The 6th Tactical Combat Fleet has clearance to get repaired first."

Senior Communations Officer: "Roger flight command. Its good to be back."

The 6th Tactical Combat Fleet postion itself for repairs. The most heavilist damaged ships got repairs first. Crew Members took time off to walk around Sluis Van, but only on off duty.

Vice Admiral Bravo: "I have to go see Jedi Master Ikrit. I'll be back."

Captain Jonesy: "Sir do you need any guard?"

Vice Admiral Bravo: "No, he is right over there."

Jedi Master Ikrit waited for Vice Admiral Bravo. The Jedi Master stood on all four legs and his big floppy ears hung to the sides of his face.

Jedi Master Ikrit: "Jason, how are you?"

Vice Admiral Bravo (Jason): "I am doing well sir. How about you?"

Ikrit: "I am nearing the end of my life. I am not sad nor worried about death."

Bravo: "Sir why do you come to me?"

Ikrit: "Why, for a discussion like this, lets go talk in your private chambers, shall we?"

The two of them walked on to the loading ramp, and boarded the mighty war ship. Bravo escorted the Jedi Master to his private chambers.
The room itself was not very big. Bravo liked that. When you entered, you were swepted back into the past. Art work of atleast contless worlds and long gone civilations dotted the white walls. In the middle of the room, was a middle sized table, with 5 seats around the table. Off to the right, was a desk, with pictures, war items, and Jedi items all over. A computer was in the center of the desk. Off to the left was a bed, with a night stand, radio, small televsion, computer, and a clock. The nigtstand was bear, but the alarm clock and a lone lamp covered it surface. The other items were off to the beds end where the sleepers legs would lay.

Both Jedi Master Ikrit and Bravo sat down at the table.

Bravo: "Would you like anything to drink sir?"

Ikrit: "No thankyou. Why do you call me sir and not just Ikrit?"

Bravo: "Its a habbit, sorry Ikrit."

Ikrit: "There you go, was that that hard?"

Bravo: "No Ikrit," Bravo showed a short smile. "No it wasn't. You came to meet me because?"

Ikrit: "I look forward in training you again."

Bravo: "Ikrit that is nice...but I can't. I have to command crew, fight battles, and protect a galaxy."

Ikrit: "As I remembered you, always complaining about having to much to do."

Bravo: "I can't go. Who will run the 6th Tactical Combat Fleet?"

Ikrit: "You will." The master had a slight grin on his face.

Bravo: "I can't of I am going to be with you...wait you are going to come with me, aren't you?"

Ikrit: "Yes I am. Will that be okay?"

Bravo: "Its okay. We have more then enough room. I just didn't think..."

Ikrit: "Think that a old man like me would want to go with you."

Bravo: "Not to be rude, but yes."

Ikrit: "You are not being rude. Shall we get off to a good start?"

    Bravo: "Well, I guess so..."

Ikrit: "No guess! Guessing is not thinking. Use the Force. The Force will guide you. Guessing is a foul man's game, not one for a Jedi."

Bravo: "I am sorry, its been a while since I have had any Jedi Training, but when I felt Yoda die, it tore me up inside."

Ikrit: "Yoda died in peace. 'All living things die. It is our nature, to live and die. There is no escape from death. But death is not the end of your life, it is just the start of your life.' With Yoda's passing, we will all learn more from him."

OOC: Bravo, Ikrit can't be running around on Sluis Van since it kills the continuity.

    From the CUSWE:
    Ikrit
this ancient Jedi Master travelled to Yavin 4 to research the Massassi people, centuries before the Battle of Yavin. A small, meter-long quadriped covered with creamy white fur, Ikrit had large eyes and floppy ears. His eyes were a swirl of browns, greens, and blues. He arrived on Yavin 4 some 385 years before the Galactic Civil War, and discovered the Golden Globe deep beneath the Palace of the Woolamander. He recognized that it could not be opened by an adult Jedi, and curled up at its base to await a child Jedi strong enough to solve its puzzle. The Jedi he waited for were Anakin Solo and Tahiri Veila. He helped them as best he could, but he refrained from any direct help for two reasons: first, he knew that any adult Jedi would adversely affect the Globe's contents; second, he knew that as a Jedi Master, he needed to let the young Jedi find their own way through the Force. When Ikrit revealed himself to Luke Skywalker, Luke asked Ikrit to remain at the Jedi praxeum as a teacher.

Since the RP is around 2 years after the Battle of Hoth, Ikrit has a very important task until a jedi child can open the Golden Globe and release the spirits it contains. If you can post a plausibly reason why Ikrit is on Sluis Van, do so. :)

Any YVMF Members, I need defence data on Dantooine, Garqi & Dubrillion ASAP. [face_devil]

WW, my PC is not at Vortex, my NPC, Vice Admiral Nym II is though. :) And his ships are heavily damaged. :(

Fhuver Vil felt the pain slide up the tendon in his arm as his fist crashed again into the Yorik Coral wall, eliciting a gasp from the Shaper's nearest to him.
"This is an outrage! Why is Domain Halycron submitted to such impurity from the infidels?!!" whirling to the priestess, he posed his question to her like a dagger.
"Well? What ill tidings have the Warmaster's wrought upon us from the Gods?"

The Priestess seemed to twitch as she bowed, slowly bringing together her story.
"Domain Halycron has sacrificed too of it's creche brothers becuase the God's are demanding even greater faith and determination in our holy quest. The infidel's resist too well, and the God's are displeased."

Fhuver paced the deck of his ship, and spun angrily. "Well I shall just have to up the pressure on the Infidels won't I? Who was in command of this attack force?"

    A subaltern approached.
"My Lord, It was the one they call Lavos. The head Priest of their Inquistion. It is said the one who killed the Warmaster is known as Zaarin."

It was almost too much for Fhuver Vil. His blood boiled as the name sent a shudder of insidious contempt through every fibre of his being. "That accursed whelp of an ill Vhor! He has blasphemed against us again. And this Zaarin? another one of the infidel horde ready to enact such a paltry attack on the honour and glory of Yun-Yuuzhan? I must take matters into my own hands!!"

Standing up, he gathered the priests, shapers and warriors that served as his commander's closer. He activated the recording that he had reviewed earlier, the last few garbled words of Warmaster Shok before his death, transmitted over his villip.
"Nithrak shall be our new Warmaster, Yun our new Warleader, and Fhuver Vil the new General of our armed forces. Good luck to you all, especially Vil. You know what must be done my loyal subject. Prepare to defend Dathomir at all costs, the Infidels advance..." the static overrode his words, as the villip inverted once more.

"You heard his words, the words of divinity. The God's sanction this?"

The Preistess bowed once more. "Yes, General. Dathomir is sacred home to Yun-Harla, as the shapers work their creations for the good of our holy crusade."

Fhuver rolled the words around in his head. Holy Crusade. Yes, for that is what it was. And Fhuver promised he would not only Defend Dathomir with his life, but taste the blood of Lavos and Zaarin before they died at his hand.

"Warrior!" cried Fhuver as he reviewed the assets of the Yuuzhan Vong in this Infidel Galaxy, on the map of the same.
    "Yes glorified General?"

"Pull as many ships as you can from Myrkr, Wayland and Sernpidal. I want to pull back our ships and strengthen the defensive line. Leave a small defense force to supervise a withdraw from those two foward bases, I don't want to risk a hit there. Leave 8 Heavy Assault cruisers at both Myrkr and Wayland, and activate the Magma mines and Dovin Basal mines."

The warrior clicked his fists on opposite shoulders. "Yes, my lord."

Fhuver Vil felt his head spin as he tried to assess the enormity of these recent events. The Yuuzhan Vong's holy advance had been blunted...but not stopped.
He sent a silent prayer to Yun-Yammaka, the Slayer to give Warmaster Tewl and Warleader Yun all the blessings they required to come home safe.
As almost insurance, he also prayed to Yun-Harla, to give them the deception and guile neccessary to slip past the Infidels.

Fhuver Vil was ready to pick up the peices..he only hoped their would be enough pieces left to pick up.

OOC: Okay, all RA and GE people note, i have reinforced Dathomir, so you may want to think again about attacking.
there was already 600 Heavy cruisers in system, and i have pulled back about 90 ships from both Myrkr, Wayland and Sernpidal.
Of course, you know none of this, so PLAY FAIR!
See you all later, and god's bless.
