    Royal De Se Markus

As Duece was awakened by a noise in his room, he sat bolt upright drawing from under his pillow one of his Redemptors and aiming it at the noise.

There, standing in the shadows, was a stranger who had somehow gotten into his room.

    Who are you?

Put the blaster away Duece. I'm here to discuss Torgan.

H? Well you have become bold.

Your meeting wiht Tellnik was a mistake. Bold manuevers must be made to contain the damage. Luckily, he's been apprehended.

Like framing Hector Daegus for an act of Terrorism?

It was your choice to bring him into this. You were told to leave others out of it.

And what about the Prime Minister?

His part was played. He was to meet ith Tellnik then arrest him for treason. but wiht you there he had to take precautions. Your loyalties were unknown.

I work for who ever is willing to pay me.

Indeed. Now about Torgan, By sundown today, he is to be dead.

Fine, anything else I should know?

Be ready to leave Nar Shaddaa for a while.

Duece was about to ask H what he meant when a Droid, unseen from Duece's left sprayed him with a concentrated dose of something that knocked him out.

H was then gone. It would be an Hour or so before Duece awoke from the dosing.

    Nar Shaddaa

Before me I lay down 2 options.

One, I go into Yudu's slowly. Get in as far as possible acting like I want to do business, kill only who I have to, take off Yudu's head. Two, I go into Yudu's quickly. Throw a few strategically placed frags, kill anybody that gets in my way, take off Yudu's head.

I haven't been in a good fight in ages.

There isn't a guard outside. The enterance is protected by 5 feet of steel that is a door, a locked door that can only be opened from the inside...maybe not. I borrow a box and crate from an old man across the street. Don't worry, he was more than happy to give it to me...okay, okay, I punched his teeth in. I arm the land mine and place it under the box. You can see where I'm going with this. I place the box infront of the enterance and hide across the street.

My rocket launcher is aimed directly at the door.

It takes them ten minutes to open the door. Ten minutes! I guess I can't blame them. I'd be a little cautious if I saw a man in a ninja suit leave a box below the security camera too. But I wouldn't wait ten frickin minutes, sheesh. They send a Twi'lek man out to inspect the box. Before he does anything they close the door behind him. Alot of good that'll do em. The man starts tapping the box with his blaster. After that he puts his ear to the box. After a few minutes of silence and unsatisfaction he opens up the box. A puzzled look sweeps across his face. He pulls out pairs upon pairs of...socks.

Yelling, in what I can only assume is some sort of profanity in the Twi'lek language, the Twi'lek man turns around flailing his arms in the air angerily. He then does the most beautiful thing in the world.

    He kicks the box.

As the pressure of the weight of the box lifts off of the mine a green glow turns to red on its center. That mine then explodes. The Twi'lek never had time to react. The five feet of steel door shake, wobble, then fall inwards. Seven men with blasters stick their heads out of the door. A carefully aimed rocket hits one of those men in the head, sending them all to kingdom come. I run towards the enterance to Yudu's Palace.

    I'm in.

The man slid a glove over his hand and Shan noticed that he was wearing one on the other as well. He took the glove of to help me up? Then she noticed his helmet. It looked somehow familiar. She couldnt quite place it.

"Mind if I ask what you're doing here?" the man asked. Shanara wasnt sure what she was doing here. Here in this alley, in this city, on this moon. She shrugged.

?Running and hiding.... from life... I guess....?

She wasnt sure how much she should and could tell him. Information was power. She had learnt that at a young age. And she didnt want to give anyone more power over her than they already did. Then it hit her. She had totally forgotten the old man and his promise. She had to get back to his garage soon. He had said in one hour so she better be there. But she couldnt just leave this man here. Something told her she would regret it.

She still stared at him, not sure what to do next.

    Monzae von Kinuta

    Nar Shaddaa, dark stinky alleyway

Monzae was a bit taken back by her answer. In all his days as a soldier, he had never heard of one running away "from" life. Maybe running "for" their lives, but never ever from. He shrugged the weight of his armor on his shoulders slightly, eyeing the girl once more. Instincts told him he wouldn't get much out of the girl at the moment.

His silence didn't sustain a reply for the young woman and spoke. "Interesting. And your name?" Perhaps she would tell him. Perhaps not. That wasn't up to Monzae. Personally, he had hoped that he could go along his mission, but something inside him told him to aid this girl from whatever it was that plagued her.

"Look, if you are in need of an escort back to your home or ship or wherever it is you were going," Monzae began, sliding his custom-made Mandalorian helm over his head. The visor glinted in the natural light of Nar Shaddaa. "I could accompany you. I doubt anyone sane would want to mess with someone who appears to have a soldier for a bodyguard."

He had quickly dressed, signed out and then left the Royal De Se Markus after he woke up from his drugging. He refrained from becoming angry about the drugging becasue it would do him no good. It was his fault for not noticing the droid in the first place.

He owned hardly anything, and the evidence of such was proven when he placed three large duffel bags vby the door holding all of his clothing and equipment he used while on the job.

He needed to find someone with a ship or go and buy one of his own, that way he could allow Hector to rent Dueces' apartment out while he was gone.

He wore the quipment he usually did along with the long, black overcoat on and headed out. Soon he was lurking the streets.

He hoped to maybe see someone offering transport or perhaps would hire him for a job offplanet and provide him transport that way. Duece didn't care, as long as he found a ride by sundown that night.

OOC: GAJ and DS5 present, the first combined post of the new WOTG?

IC: Emperor Iaius Jello and Moff Tarquin Seti
A servant closes the large glass windows of Tarquin?s observation deck, the Chandrillan twilight small and almost cold over Lake Sah?ot. Before the young woman could finish closing the large panels, a gust of warm air filled the room, blowing a few papers around and tossing Tarquin?s hair slightly. Pushing the tiny mussed section back into place, Tarquin nodded his approval to the young girl.

?That?s fine, Sasha, very fine. Very good. You may leave now,? he said, taking a sip of an old Alderaanian vintage, staining his mouth with its powerful flavor. The Moff sat down at his communications suite, which he kept on the observation deck, sealed off from the rest of the grounds. It was a gorgeous view of Chandrilla, which he did not mind displaying to others, and it kept him in a pleasant state of mind. Another sip of the fine wine, and Tarquin tapped the hologram pod to life with a mini-datapad. Before him was the Emperor?s personal symbol, blinking.

?The Emperor,? Seti said. Confirm. A direct connection was established with Imperial Centre and one of the Emperor?s functionaries told him to hold for His Imperial Majesty.

?Of course, I await His Majesty with pleasure."

The Galactic Emperor was in his private office, consumed in his work. In the year or so that had transpired since the climactic Battle at Endor, he had bent his energies towards one goal alone: stabilizing and unifying the Empire. Lord Vader was a fool for daring to lift his hand against Palpatine, and now they were paying the price. The economy was jittery and warlords constantly preyed on the Empire's borderlands. The Rebellion had survived Endor and capitalized on the Empire's indecisiveness, going so far to declare themselves a new republic. It was all far too much, and this once field commander found himself focusing his will on nothing but work. If he was a lesser man, he would have failed. But he wasn't.

He hardly noticed when the liveried aide stepped into the office, clicked his heels and executed a stiff half-bow. "Message for Your Majesty."

The Emperor looked up. "Please route it to my office." He didn't wish to go to the main holopod in the throne room, he had too much work at hand.

So it was that an image back to resolve itself in front of his desk, as if someone was brought here before him. On the other end, the caller would have seen a greatly enlarged version of the Galactic Emperor's head, with its dark hair surmounted by a golden wreath and its icy blue eyes staring out at his interlocutor.

An impressive display formed to life before Tarquin, striking him slightly. The Moff stood before the image and bowed deeply, a Core tradition of showing the entire back to one's superior. "Your Imperial Majesty, thank you for giving me a moment of your time."
Regaining his composure from the heavy bow, Tarquin moved his head back toward the hologram, not bring it fully in line. Eye contact was not appropriate. "Your Majesty, I wish to speak with you briefly about a troubling phenomenon I and my brother Moffs are experiencing here in the heart of the Empire. Rebel sympathizers. I have no less than three hundred in the Imperial prison on Lorora. Cargoes leaving from Chandrilla have been sabotaged, the Imperial garrison has been attacked, and your image has been defiled in public by... protesters," Tarquin said, the last word filthy in his mouth.

"I have used my legions to suppress these displays as best as I can, but the reach of the rebellion is disturbing, your Majesty. Even here on Chandrilla, economic pressures are being felt due to the relative... instability of the galaxy at this time. And with word of a possible new threat from the Outer Rim... "

Seti stopped, not fully informed of the alien threat and not knowing how the Emperor wished his servants to treat it. It was possibly rebel propaganda, though reports had even reached Tarquin of the thre/>

Shanara couldnt read his expression. His face always looked rather ?neutral? to her. Then he spoke. "Interesting. And your name?"

She mulled the question over in her mind. Should she tell him her name or make something up? Usually she would lie and get going, but there was something about him, she knew she should stay with him for the time being.

Sliding his helmet over his head he continued. "Look, if you are in need of an escort back to your home or ship or wherever it is you were going,...I could accompany you. I doubt anyone sane would want to mess with someone who appears to have a soldier for a bodyguard..?

That made a lot of sense. Shrugging her paranoia off she stuck out her hand ? this time without a blaster ? and said
?My name is Shanara. You can call me Shan if you like.? Giving him a mischievous grin she continued ?Thanks for your offer and I?ll gladly accept. But.....? she paused for a moment, thinking whether she should take him to Booster?s garage. She had nothing to lose, being literally at a dead end. ?..I just need to meet with a friend of mine couple of blocks from here... so...if you really dont mind....? She gave him her brightest smile and pointed in the right direction, waiting for him to come along.

Monzae nodded at the fact she revealed to him her name, especially a shorter version of it in case he should forget it. Mandalorians had no need to be formal. Codenames and nicknames were good enough. "Shan. You may call me Monzae." He said, shaking her hand with his armored gauntlet. His armor was cold, but not freezing. It must've been the cool air of Nar Shaddaa that gave it that attribute.

Monzae took in the atmosphere for a moment and replied once more to Shanara. "I told you I would accompany you, and if you need to meet with your friend, I guess I'm coming with you." Monzae didn't smile, but Shan couldn't tell. After all, the Mandalorian was wearing a helmet and his tone was rather enthused given the situation.

He motioned for her to lead the way with his mechanical hand, which was hidden by yet more armor plating.

Nar Shaddaa Alley, Overlooking Torgans base of Operations

duece had been watching Torgans place for a while now. The ground floor level was a warehouse, everything else was below ground.

duece really didn't want to go in guns ablazing. So he chose to watch and try to see the routine and notic any weaknesses.

That idea had been the best he had ever had. Every few minutes a weakness presented itself. Torgan ahd surrounded himself wiht idiots, or atleast on the surface he employed idiots.

Duece did notice the one access tunnel with a gate on it that led into the lower levels. That would be his ticket in. But how could he kill Torgan without anyone seeing him and him having to fight his way out.

And then he saw the answer. It seemed every thee-hours a foodcart vehicle from a well known Restraunt that supplied Hutts with meals from Nal Hutta would arrive and then spend tenminutes underground then reemerge.

Duece decided that that would be his bet, he could plany explosive detonated by timer and by remote..that way if one was diabled he'd have a fail-safe.

Now where to get the fireworks?

Duece set out again, he was goign to see an old friend.

"Shan. You may call me Monzae." The tall man shook her hand firmly, then continued "I told you I would accompany you, and if you need to meet with your friend, I guess I'm coming with you."

She was happy to hear that. Having such an impressive bodyguard would come in handy. After all they were on Nar Shaddaa. She led the way towards Booster?s Garage savouring the impressed looks by everyone as they walked proudly in the open towards their destination. For the first time in her life Shanara wasnt afraid. She felt almost invincible, like the unknown warrior called Monzae could take on the whole galaxy.

    Nar Shaddaa, Booster?s Garage

Not having her eyes on everything that happened around her as she usually did, Shanara almost didnt recognise the tall devaronian standing next to Booster. That in itself wouldnt be a problem if only that devaronian wasnt working for Yudu, the hutt. Ducking into the shadows her face betrayed the horror of what she feared was true.....

Monzae followed Shanara's lead of hiding in the shadows and instincitvely drew one of his two ryyk blades. He had only briefly summarized the situation in his head, but even briefly was enough for him. A garage tech, most likely the friend this young girl was waiting to meet, and a shady looking devaronian. Having fought on more than his fair share of worlds, even alongside the Rebel Alliance, devaronians were not to be trusted.

"There's something you're not telling me, isn't there?" Monzae asked, a bit surprised by her recent actions of hiding from someone she claimed was her friend. "Something about that devaronian..." The Mandalorian stated, eyeing the two of them through his T-shaped visor, the dark shadows hiding the glint of his armor.

    Filose Naj

    Nar Shaddaa

The home of all the low down, dirty, rotten scoundrels of the galaxy, Nar Shaddaa. It was a place where you could come and get lost or come and find somebody who has been missing for a while. Never come to this planet if you weren't ready for it. Snakes and cheats walked the streets, looking for the right person at the right time to rob for their credits or whatever they were holding. Filose on the other hand was too intimidating for the random pick pocket to come up to and try to cheat, however some of them did have the balls to try. The falleen had just arrived on Nar Shadda looking for some excitement, which he hadn't had in years. Here he was trying to make some credits and maybe get a drink or two. Credits came first though, something that his old mentor taught him. Never let the pleasures of life cloud your mind, business comes first.

Filose smiled and continued to walk down the crowded streets. Never in his life had he seen more peddlers, pan handlers and con artists just trying to convince anyone to give them their credits. When they tried it with Filose however he just brushed them away. He had no time for talk with petty criminals. He was onto much bigger and better things. Filose had the inside track for working with a Hutt. While searching the files of his mentors former ship and place of sleep, Filose was able to find a contact who resided on the planet.

The fallen looked down at the card, which only had a name and a location on it. Salus Truson, Nar Shaddaa Filose had done some background checking through his database, looking for the name and it came up as a trusted contact. He would be able to get him in with the Hutt and get him some business. Filose's body turned orange with confidence, netting him some looks from the females who walked around the planet. Business first Filose. Filose didn't know where to lock for this man, or if he even was a man and what species he was. The best bet would be a place of enjoyment. No criminal making millions of credits a second would be able to resist a drink and viewing females dance for them. Filose looked upwards towards a big, bright flashing sign which read Jewel of the Moon. When he looked down to see the rest of the bar, it didn't look like what he imagined in his head. It looked pretty beat up and run down. It would be the perfect place to find a criminal like Salus or so he thought.

His name was Tre Kebal, and he was a Dug. Tre was a traveling salesman whose specialty was weapons. He had all sorts of Handguns, blaster, rifles, explosives. If you needed an item of warfare, he could get it for the right price.

But that was just a front for what his real job was. Tre built custom Explosive rigs, and he was the best.

This was custom built for another Client, but he never came to claim it. So I give it to you, for the right price.

    5,000 Credits!

Done. Theres only one problem. I don't have them on me.

Waiting on a paycheck, or are the credits somewhere close?

I have them. I'll amke you a deal if you can do me a favor. How long you pan on being in town?

I leave in a few hours. Things are getting crazy here.

If you give me a ride off this rock, and I don't care to where, I'll double your payment once we leave.

Now you've got a deal. We leave as soonas you get here. don't be late, after sundown, I go. Whether your here or not!

    I'll be here Tre.

duece picked up the rig. tre ahd explained it thoroughly enough that Duece understood it would be impossible to be stopped.

It had a two timer system. The first timer went up to ten minutes and counted down to the setting off of the other timer. The second timer went only to two minutes. It was the countdown timer until detonation. Both worked in opposite to one another but power was routed through both. That way one had to guess which was for the explosion and which was for whatever other reasons it could be there. If either were disconneted from the other, both would revert to zero and cause the explosion prematurely.

The rig also had a remote that showed the countdowns on it as well as gave the detonator the option to remotely detonate the explosive, as well as a countdown pause that allowed for three minutes of pause in the countdown. After the three minutes, the regular countdown resumes without any way to stop in unless properly disarmed. If it is disarmed, then the remote is the only way to detonate it and the remote only works if the proper keycode sequence is entered first.

Tre was the best for a reason. His explosives rarely were ever stopped in time.

Duece was now infront of the restraunts delivery truck. He'd wait until the driver came out then he'd make sure his plan was put into action.

Shanara was still staring at the events unfolding in utter disbelief. It just couldnt be. Booster couldnt be working with Yudu, not like that. The warrior said something that made her come back to reality.

"There's something you're not telling me, isn't there? Something about that devaronian..."

She stared at the T-shaped visor, seeing part of her reflection in it. Not sure whether she should tell this man about her past with Yudu she figured it wouldnt really hurt either. She was in the biggest trouble she could be in already. And he might be able and willing to help her....

    Leaning in closer she whispered
?That devaronian is one of Yudu the hutt?s leading thugs. Very ruthless and does his master?s every bidding. That he is talking to my friend here is no good sign. I?m afraid good old Booster might have sold me out....? Her voice dropped slightly as the reality and gravity of the situation did sink in. Just as she was about to continue she heard footsteps coming closer....

Monzae processed her words in his mind. If anything involved a hutt, crimelord, thug, or any combination of the three, it wasn't good. Smugglers and pirates dealt with hutts, not Mandalorians. However, Monzae was aware that more of his dishonored brethren were reduced to working as hired muscle for hutts. He was about to say something to Shanara before he heard footsteps approaching slowly. Kinuta was fairly aware that the girl had heard it as well.

As a precautionary measure, he stood in front of her, his back to her, and placed his free hand over her mouth. "K'uur. Be still..." The self-proclaimed Mandalore peered into the darkness, his eyes adjusting to the light granted by the interior of the garage itself while successfully concealing the Mandalorian and the girl. In his mechanical hand, the ryyk blade shifted its weight, ready for whatever it was that was approaching them...

As I enter into Yudu's palace I pull out my blaster for some medium range killing. Son of a-. The enterance, and everything within 20 feet inside the doorway, is on fire. I tell myself that I can handle it, I've got tough skin. I charge in...It burns.

    Not really.

I run out of the fire straight into a couple of Yudu's rodian thugs. The one that I hit falls into the floor, head first. He doesn't move. I point my blaster at the second confused rodian and milliseconds later he joins the first. Their dead bodies look like they're hugging each other. How cute, but no time to ogle. I need to do this fast, in a couple minutes these morons are going to know what hit them, then they'll start to get organized...

A pair of Twi'lek's with semi-automatic blaster rifles turn the corner and scream when they see me. I'd scream if I saw me too. I go to duck behind, I go to...great. Since I blew up everything around me that I could have possibly ducked behind I decide to exchange blaster fire with them. I suck in a couple dozen blasters shots to my armored chest while they suck in a couple blaster shots of mine, only they don't have body armor. They fall limply to the floor.

I jump over the Twi'lek bodies as I round the corner. An automatic doorway in front of me slides open and I toss a thermal detonator inside.

    Boom...

She didnt know what K?uur meant, but she got the general meaning. Getting her blaster ready she waited behind Monzae as a gamorrean came into sight. Before he even noticed them Monzae had taken care of him, swiftly and silently.

Still staring at him with unbelievable shock her attention was drawn towards the devaronian, who?s comlink was beeping. After answering he spoke vehemently into the comlink, getting very agitated. She noticed the surprised look on Booster?s face. Whatever had happened must have come as a surprise to both of them.

?Take care of the girl for us. If you can get her alive do it.... I have more important things to do right now... whoever attacked my boss?s place will have to pay dearly....NOW?

The devaronian spoke into his comlink and soon after the members of his gang were assembled in Booster?s garage. ?Take care of her... The devaronian said to Booster. ?....I dont care how... just do it.... she has to be dealt with...otherwise you know what we?ll do....? He made a swiping gesture across his throat with his thumb and grinned evilly at Booster, who had gone pale. Nodding more to himself than to the devaronian he watched them board their speeder.

    Monzae von Kinuta

    Nar Shaddaa, Booster?s Garage

Monzae slid his ryyk blade from the filthy gamorrean's throat and removed his hand from its snout. So far, they had done an excellent job at being silent, and while stealth wasn't Kinuta's glass of ale, it was a soldiers best friend.

He turned back to Shanara and raised his hand in a military gesture, usually meaning "halt" or "wait here". The Mandalorian peered partially around the corner, catching fragments of a conversation and the departure of the devaronian and his thugs in a speeder.

Monzae pulled himself back to Shanara's side in the darkness. "Sounds like your friend Booster is working for the hutts as well." Monzae whispered, taking in the situation carefully. "You would know him better than I would, but from what I've heard, he's lost his honor by selling you out..." He peered partially around the corner, watching the thugs leave and cursed to himself.

    "Di'kut..."

    Duece Darrick
    Nar Shadda Alley, Restraunt Truck

After alot of talking and convincing and agreeing to pay the kid 1,000 credits, he agreed to allow the rig to be placed in one of the Plasteel food trays that the food was transported in.

The one Duece chose to set the rig up in was a deep container with a sliding lid. The kid who drove the truck day in and day out to Torgans warehous explained that just on the otherside of the wall in the kitchen was where Torgan always sat. The kid also explained that they had quit checking the containers a fw months after the kid started working there becasue he was trustwrth and wouldn't allow anyone to do anything to the food. The kid was poor and needed the job and he had been told if he screwed up he'd be kicked out on his frakking arse and never work anywhere ever again.

The chance to pay off a pilot to take him away from this rock was the deal sealer.

Duece watched as the kid pulled in, and Duece started the 10 minute timer from his perch. The remote automatically began to show the beginning countdown. 8 minutes alter the kid was back in the truck and off.

Duece met him on the street and away they went.

Take me to my place, its over in the business district.

    Sure, what about me though?

Don't worry. I'll make it look like your truck was hit by a small band of thugs, They'll find a dead body and then they'll think it was you.....

Duece laoded up his bags from his apartment after they had pulled in and then they left again. Over the Com frequencies there were several reports of an explosion at a warehouse. The tope half of the warehouse had collasped in on the lower levels and most of the lower levels were blasted by such a powerful blast that nearly everything was vaporized wihtin a 500 meter radius.

Some beleive it was the work of a knew Crime Boss who has been attacking brothel houses, casinos and other Hutt controlled criminal fronts.

As they pulled in at the Sapceport, Duece took care of the truck. where the dead body came from is unknown but the Kid didnt have the guts to ask and find out.

Duece then loaded up on Tre Kabels ship, the Avengers Ace.

The kid found a shuttle leaving for a frigate bound for Ord Mantell. Duce's job was finished.

    You got my Credits!

    It wasn't a question.

Duece opend one bag and pulled out the box full of credits and tossed the 10,000 across to Tre.

    Now lets go.

Tre didn't argue. He started up his ship and soon they were in orbit. Duece went into the bunkroom that Tre had added when he had a crew onboard and took one of the bunks as his own, putting his stuff in the footlocker under the bunk.

Then he went into the cockpit and told Tre he was going to eat then go to sleep.

    Filose Naj

    Nar Shaddaa

The bar, Jewel of the Moon was surprisingly crowded. Smoke and the smell of alcohol filled the air, Filose caught a musky aroma lingering around the bar aswell. The large falleen caught eyes with a few of the patrons who thought they were tough guys but he didn't have time to prove his superiorarity to anyone tonight. He made his way through the crowd to the bar, gently pushing patrons out of his way. They weren't looking for a fight with him, he was far to big and intimidating and he didn't even want to fight. Hopefully no one would of had too much to drink at this hour. Drinking too much gave the tough ones some bigger gonads and they were always looking to fight someone bigger than them.

The bar wasn't too full, as the patrons were either listening to the music, dancing to it or just conversing with the other's around the bar. Filose took a spot at the center of the bar, signaling over to the bartender. He finished up cleaning off a glass and walked over to Filose.

"What will it be for yer?" The bartender asked.

"No drinks for me tonight, I'm looking for a man named Salus Truson." Filose said confidently. The bartender gave him a look of shock at first, then a look which said, is this guy crazy? He took a look around the bar and then leaned in close towards Filose.

"We don't have anyone by that name in this bar." He told him, look at the falleen as if he had something to hide. Filose decided it couldn't hurt so he pulled out the card with Salus' name on it. He showed it to the bartender who looked at for a moment. He nodded his head and then smirked at Filose giving him back the card.

"Put that in a safe place, he's in the back." The bartender told him pointing behind the bar to a door which lead to the back of the place. It was pure conicedence that Filose found the exact bar Truson was at on his first try. Maybe he stayed at this bar as it was closest to the starport. You never know when you had to make a quick escape off of Nar Shadda. Filose winked at the bartender, tossing him a credit chip. He walked behind the bar and then entered the door that he pointed to.

    Gender: Male
    Age: Seemingly Ageless
    Species: Humanoid
    Homeworld: Unknown
    Spoken Language: Ancient Galactic
Other Languages: Various forms of Galactic Basic including modern Basic

    Appearance
    ---Height: 5?9?
    ---Eye Color: Unknown
    ---Hair/Fur Color: Unknown
    ---Skin Color: Unknown
---Clothing: Pure black robes and mesh mask. He also wears blackish-red bracers with dark purple Sith inscriptions and designs crafted into them. He also has a very unusual amulet around his neck that he hides behind his robes. The amulet is of a life-crystal that appears to be missing chunks. The crystal is blackish-red in color. It has two onyx tasar crystal wings protruding from its top-sides which purple rays, also tasar crystal, shoot out from the tips into a dark emerald atrusian crystal wreathed in the same onyx crystal as the wings. Purple rays explode from the emerald which the top-most ray is attached to the neck chain.

---Other: The lining of the bottom edges of the robe where the feet would be is colored in almost a blackish-red that can only be seen if closely scrutinized. There is no other significance to his robes.

The amulet is an amulet of Life Protection and Drain Life. The life-crystal chunks that are missing have been incorporated into his lightsabers that allow him to drain the very life essence and energy from his enemies with their deaths and store it into the larger crystal for later use of his choice. The atrusian crystal itself protects and stores his spirit should he ever fall in combat and the tasar crystals act as healing and illusion crystals which only activate should his spirit be absorbed by the atrusian crystal, protecting his vulnerable body until the crystals can heal his wounds.

The bracers are Bracers of Tracelessness. These bracers mask or dilute the amount of Darkside he unwillingly leaves behind him, making it harder for Jedi or other Force-Sensitives to track him down. The bracers would easily deceive all but fully trained trackers of the Force.

Some say these are an indication as to who he once was before he became a Sith Lord.

Personality: Stygius rarely speaks except when words are needed. He is patient in completing his goals; time means nothing to him. He is prone to quick outbursts of anger, usually against those who have failed him and the Darkside. Otherwise he is like a shadow in the dark, unseen and non-existent. He is nothing but a black hole in time and space, drawing darkness to him and everyone around him until there is nothing left that is not tainted with the Darkside of the Force. Some say he is the embodiment of the Darkside.

Habits: Darkness emits from him and encompasses all those around him, chilling them to the bone with a feeling of coldness and pure evil, a habit that cannot be controlled by him but something that just is. Anything he walks on or touches becomes tainted with the Darkside.

Likes: He prefers solitude and darkness around him.
Dislikes: Incompetence and Lightsiders and unnecessary destruction.
Talents: Although he is considerably weaker in his strength in the Force, he already has the knowledge of many Force Abilities. He only waits until his strength in the Force has returned to use them on his enemies and the galaxy.
Weakness: Remove his amulet and he is vulnerable to death and age. He will also make all attempts to recover the amulet. Destroy the amulet after his spirit is inside the emerald and he dies undoubtedly. Also very strong blasts of the Lightside can force him into retreat and if ever cornered, weaken him considerably.

Limitations: He cannot ever use the Lightside of the Force.
Racial Attributes: Unknown since his species is unknown.

    Affiliation: Smaller Faction
    ---Rank: Sith Lord
    ---Branch: Sith Order
    ---Station: Phantasmagoria
    ---Unit: None
---Position: Dark Lord of the Sith
---Primary Weapons: Long-blade Lightsaber and a Short-blade Lightsaber

    Darkness Rising

3,000 BBY, Kalsunor - Outer Rim

"Quickly now! We have it on the run!"

The light of vibrating energy swords hissing in the rain as each drop fell upon the blades illuminated the dense jungle as the six individuals carrying them sprinted across the rough terrain after something that seemed to absorb the multi-colored lights.

"Do not let up! The Light is hurting him!"

An inhuman howl echoed through the jungle as the individual's command was acted upon. Whatever it was they were chasing had felt a terrible pain that reverberated back towards the six robed men. For a moment they staggered in their chase as the light from their swords grew dim and the life of the jungle around them appeared to momentarily mutate before their eyes.

"No! Ignore it's pain! Keep pressing forward! We must not allow it to regain the initative! If we do the galaxy will be lost! The Jedi will be destroyed!"

"Never! The Darkside shall not prevail this day, Master!"

    "There it is!"

    "What is it doing?"

"It's weakened, let's destroy it now!"

A black void shaped like a cloaked humanoid stood in the middle of a clearing, holding it's side and trying to remain on its feet. A cavern entrance rose behind it, the darkness within inviting too all who stood outside it.

"Fools!" It breathed in a forboding voice full of anger and hatred. "I am the Darkside of the Force! I cannot be destroyed! Where there is Light I shall exist!"

"Hit it again Zun-Kao before it can draw upon our life force!"

One of the six robed figures stepped ahead of the others, his weapon disengaged and hanging from his belt. He abruptly clasped his hands together, intertwining his fingers and pressing his palms outward. A light of pure energy emited from him and spread outward, encompassing himself and everyone within several hundred yards.

The black void raised it's robed arms in an attempt to ward off the offending light. From somewhere within the void a darkness began to consume and absorb the light and the Jedi Zun-Kao can be seen straining against the dark creature. A battle of wills ensued between the two combatants as one tried to dominate the other.

"Quickly! Help Zun-Kao! Meld with him and add your own strength to his! This beast must not prevail!" As soon as the others joined in the battle, the creature roared in pain and broke off the attack. It retreated into the cavern behind him and the six Jedi resumed the chase through the cavernous tunnels.

"Why does it run in here? Surely it understands that it will be trapped here?"

"The Darkside is strong here," Zun-Kao answered. "It no doubts seeks to tap into a resouvoir of Darkside energy. We have to catch up to it."

"Then let us not waste time discussing it."

Six blades illuminated off the walls as the Jedi followed the tunnels. They could barely see the object of their attention. The Darkside that it has wrapped around it self has allowed it to blend into the shadows of the cave, breaking up its form much like a Defel would. Then, suddenly, they lost sight of it as it turned a sharp corner. The six Jedi stopped at the entrance to a tomb.

"It is Sith!" exclaimed one of the other Jedi.

"But the Sith have never been able to maintain such control over the Darkside as long as this creature has."

"He is more than Sith," the Master answered as he cautiously took a step closer only to pause with a glazed look over his face. A few seconds later he came too and turned around to face the others. "We cannot enter this place or temptation will defeat us."

    "But..."

"No! This is not a resouvoir of Darkside energy like we first assumed! It wants us to enter this tomb because it knows we will be tainted here and our journey to the Darkside will begin. It wants us to use the Darkside. This is like no Sith we have ever encountered before. Zun-Kao, create a barrier around this tomb. If we cannot go in and destroy it, then we will trap it here for all eternity and forbid any one from ever visiting thi

    IC: Shanara Taleel

    Nar Shaddaa, Booster?s Garage

Still slightly shocked by what she had just seen and what it meant to her and her relationship with Booster Shanara was almost startled when Monzae whispered "Sounds like your friend Booster is working for the hutts as well. You would know him better than I would, but from what I've heard, he's lost his honor by selling you out..." He turned around again and said something under his breath "Di'kut...".

Shanara was still staring at Booster, her gaze turning into an icy glare as the reality if what she had just seen finally sunk in.

?Honor? Seems like he never had anything that you could even remotely call HONOR.?

She almost spat the last word with disgust. She still couldnt believe it. Booster had sold her out. Had betrayed her. After all these years he had turned on her. He had been her last ally. Now she had none. Her hand moved to her blaster as she fixed Booster?s back with her stare.

She got up and moved towards him.

    ?Hey there old friend...?

He turned around, alarmed. He knew something was up even before his eyes fell on her drawn blaster. She aimed it at him.

?I cant believe you just s....?

She stopped midsentence and froze. Shivers ran down her spine. Her whole body trembled. She didnt know what was happening, but something cold seemed to have its grip on her, permeating her every cell in her body. Coldness to the core. She felt like she was falling, falling into a bottomless black abyss.....she couldnt breathe.....

Booster saw his chance and ran for his blaster next to the speeder he had been working on before the devaronian and his gang had shown up. He could take her out now.... take her out and be done with her and give Yudu what he wanted....

    Monzae von Kinuta

    Nar Shaddaa, Booster's Garage

Monzae watched as the girl froze and Booster darted off in the other direction. Traitors were to be dealt with quickly, and never allowed to escape or be given a chance to combat an honorable warrior. The Mandalorian took in the surroundings within half a second and noted Booster was headed for his speeder. Monzae threw his ryyk blade at the traitor, piercing him through the hand and going further into the speeders plating.

Monzae took a few steps forward, ignoring Booster's screams of pain and looking to Shanara kept her from falling over in her coma-like state. He held her in his mechanical arm and turned to Booster. He set Shanara down gently and approached the former friend of Shan. Not surprisingly, the young man screamed and attempted to pull the blade free with his good hand, the jagged edges cutting into his flesh as his futile attempts were made.

Kinuta stood half an arms length from him and removed the blade with a harsh jerk. Booster howled and cursed in what Monzae thought was more or less suited for the barracks. The Mandalorian sheathed his blade and drew his blaster rifle as Booster backed up against the front of his speeder.

With pain coursing through him, Booster couldn't do more than rasp and wheeze out words that Monzae didn't care to hear. Booster held up his freshly cut hand, leaving his pierced one at his side, and attempted to bargain for his life.

Kinuta frowned and fired two shots into the man's chest, sending him staggering backward towards the bottomless edge of his garage. Monzae watched intently as Booster fell forward, cracking his head off of the parked speeder, and was sent falling to his apparent doom to the darkest depths of Nar Shaddaa.

Mandalore tilted his head to the side, his neck cracking slightly and holstered his blaster as he neared Shanara. He knelt down to her and picked her up in his arms, almost whispering to her but was, in reality, talking to himself. "We had better get you out of here." With that said, he left the garage with Shanara in tow, heading back to the docks where his ship stood. It still grew into a mystery why she froze when she did, but he would ask her when she was well again.
