SWRPF Archive War of the Galaxies VII: The Final Gambit

Firstly, I definately think Thok's characters all need to fight eachother. Simultaneously. To all of their respective deaths. Because that would be funny. (And invites a really long cool post)

Secondly, I like the Vong attack Coruscant, are narrowly defeated and the Imperials counter attack and Dathomir with AFS help.

Or, another option would be as the Imperials stuggle in a loosing battle, the AFS siezes the initiative and helps the Imperials by launching a strike on Dathomir. Forced to retreat to defend their capital, the Vong arrive back in system to destroy the Rebels. During the battle, the remainder of the Imperial fleet comes in and all three forces obliterate eachother, leaving Flar to romp over the rest of the known galaxy.

Lastly, WOTG was the grandest RP on the board in her day. I suggest she go out with something just as grand.

We should arrange and compose the entire final battle through AIM. Package it up real nice like. Then post the entire thing in one gigantic combined post. We could have the longest post in the history of the boards! Now that would be a fitting end to WOTG. Finishing on top, just as she started.

God, that post could be book sized...

Oh, and lastly, we should remake all forces. Everybody can keep the forces that they know they had (are in old PMs, etc.), but for those of us who no longer (or never) knew the composition of their fleets (I think I'm the highest-ranking AFS member remaining, and I only MIGHT be able to figure out what the Federated Union controlled, much less the entire AFS). This way, we all know what we have exactly and are cabable of creating posts (or aformentioned giant post) with the simplest ease.

I think we should plan in more detail than just the very general plot. Also I think everyone needs to know what's going on in the RP ATM.

 

I know I have A Kyanan Armada at Reece about to square off against a Yuuzhan Vong incursion (my PC there, Commander Phal Glass, had sent a communique to Jello offering support in taking back Reece from memory) my happy little Prophet still galavanting around enemy lines stirring up drama, and a mad Yuuzhan Vong demi-god in charge of Vortex which has mysteriously left it's home system.

I'm ready for some fun.

My character Colonel Theron was a member of the BlackWolves also called PyroWolf. Was given command for a short period of time. But he was killed off.

 

War of the Galaxies VII.V: The End of Days

After much conflict between the Galactic Empire
and the Yuuzhan Vong, warlordism between splintered
factions of a once proud New Republic, and piracy
from the nefarious Kieran Flar; the galaxy finds
itself on the verge of complete anarchy and
destruction.

Word has reached the Empire and Her allies that the
Yuuzhan Vong are planning a full scale attack on the
capital planet as a final push to take the galaxy.
Emperor Jello sends out a call to all able forces
capable of rendering aid to come to Coruscant in her
defense.

In doing so, many others have heard the call. Many who
are not affiliated with the Empire or the Yuuzhan Vong
watch from a distance to see who will become the victor
and to see what bounty will be ripe for the taking. All
are aware that if the Empire loses, the Yuuzhan Vong
would sweep the entire galaxy uncontended.

But only those who can see the future know the true fate
of the galaxy as the end of days finally arrives...

A dark and ominous void shadowed the four sleek arrowhead Star Destroyers as they passed through the emptiness of space. They were travelling together in a box formation at two-thirds speed with weapons powered down and shields lowered as a sign of good faith that they were not here to fight. Their name plates across the port bow of their hulls identified them as the Four Horsemen: [i]War, Pestilence, Famine,[/i] and [i]Death.[/i]

But the darkness that loomed over them was barely noticable and after focused scans of the area, those who looked would realize it was a seventeen kilometer [i]Executor[/i]-class Star Destroyer painted entirely black with tinted screens over it's viewports. It's IFF transponder identified it as the [i]Apocalypse[/i]. The five warships approached the city planet and it's guardian fleet without realizing that their names were symbolic for the times they were in.

"The End of Days has arrived," said the familiar, cultured voice over the channel to the Emperor. "For the Yuuzhan Vong that is... Unless, of course, the Force deems that the Empire should fall. Fortunately for you I was able to convince these rogues to defend the Empire one last time. With the capablities of this fleet added to your own, the Yuuzhan Vong do not stand a chance.

"So Your Majesty, how do you like my ride, eh?" General Mythus Nuruodo asked the aged figure that was the Emperor. Gone were the midnight blue tattoos of Yun-Harla, but scars of where they had been remained. Gone were the malicious thoughts of revenge and treachery that had been in the originals mind. This Chiss was a pure clone, completely loyal to the Emperor and the Empire, whose faith in the True Way had been destroyed by Thrawn's reprogramming.

He was an Imperial once again.

For over a year the Chiss General had spent every waking hour in reclaiming the Four Horsemen and the trust of his second-in-command. After pillaging and raiding rebel worlds and corrupt Imperials in the Outer Rim, still following the original orders of the convert Mitth, the pirate gang finally trusted the clone. Of course, beating a former commando General in combat was something Erik and the others did not want to do and so did not question him when he said they were going to heed the Emperor's call.[/blockquote]
