Oceania Warning for Ebay users

For anyone that uses eBay please be cautious right now. There is a message going around which has been designed to appear as though it is an official message from eBay. It claims that your account has been hacked and that you should follow a link to a site to confirm your account details.

DO NOT DO THIS !!!

Neither the email, nor the site belong to eBay but instead a scam group. Once they have your account details they will then sell items that don't exist to rip off eBay buyers. Crooks go home with a lot of cash and you have eBay chasing you for the money. It would get very messy.

Some of you may have forgotten that upon signing up with eBay they state that they will NEVER ask you to provide your account details or password and that is to prevent these very scams from being effective. Take heed and be careful.
