was Anakin aware of...

the fact that he doesn't have a father...that he was concived by the force?

 

I thought that he was told that at some point, or at least had it hinted to him. The Jedi weren't exactly hiding his destiny from him in any way.

I'm pretty sure Anakin knew or had some kind of idea about it all. As GhostJediknight said, nor Shmi or the Jedi hid the truth from him.

 

He probably knew that he apperently had no father.

 

We don't know that. We don't know what Shmi told him. I don't Lucas has ever commented on this - or has he?

 

I think it'd be a little difficult to explain to a child that he has no father. I mean, its probably gonna phsychologically scar him for life or something.

 

He would have to be. At some point a kid asks about his dad. If he had been told some Uncle Owen style "Spice Freighter" lie, he would've mentioned it at some point. Or at least Shmi wouldv'e said to Qui-Gon: "by the way, he thinks his Dad is a galactic mailman so don't tell him what I just told you."

Lots of kids grow up not knowing a thing about thier father and they turn out just fine. as "my baby's daddy".

I bet Anakin knew his origins.

 

Was Luke told the truth about his father? Maybe Shmi made up a similar stoty to Anakin that his father died although Shmi is too honest wtih Anakin to do that. She probably told him but there is still no prove to suggest that in the films.

 

I'm sure he knew he had no father. His line to Obi-1 Kenobi, 'You're the closest thing I have to a father'.

That line tells me that he knew that Shmi told him the truth at some point.
