He's wrong though he couldn't have prevented Anakin's fall, it was the only way for the Force to balance itself.

He was feeling Anakin´s pain and it made him cry.
Hey, wouldn´t it be cool if Yoda had been bawling?

Actually... I think Yoda was crying... check his eyes.

Besides, that's why Mace asks him "What is it?"

I thought Windu said that because Yoda looked very upset.

I don't think he was crying, but he was upset because he could feel Anakin's pain at the time. Jedi have that ability you know. ;)

It's actually a very poignant moment in the film and well worth a scholarly discussion.

I asked myself the exact same question when I saw that scene the first time.

It showed me that even Yoda, the ultimate of all Jedi, was capable of feeling emotion. I agree with Sil in that it was a very poignant moment in the film. Yoda seemed to allow that strong emotion of sadness in, then quickly buried it after Mace asked him what was wrong. Says a lot about Yoda's character.

Obi-Wan cried when Qui-Gon died. I don´t think Jedi aren´t allowed to be sad, but they shouldn´t let emotions decide their actions.

I often wondered why Anakin didn't cry at Qui-Gon's funeral. Maybe his lack of tears showed his true discipline as a future Jedi Knight.

I think Jake Lloyd is really good in that scene. You can almost see the lump in his throat.

Yeah they're watering, but that doesn't mean he was going to cry. He felt Anakin's pain and hated seeing what was happening and remember fear leads anger leads to hate leads to suffering, and once the start down the dark side, forever will it forfill your destiny.
