JCC ways to say goodbye

um excuse you I was weened on drop and stroopwafels by my oma. Short of buying a caravan I don't see how you can be more Dutch.

 

If I want to be edgy and pompous I use French terms but if I want to be edgy and hip then I use slang words like "later peeps". If I'm trying to impress the ladies I just kind of wave and say "whatever" or "seeya later alligator". On the phone and at work I'm all business and will usually just say "sup biatches".

 

Look, you are either fake British or fake Dutch. You can't be both.

You wouldn't ever say "over and out". Don't they teach you airmen anything about comm etiquette? Over means you expect a response, out means you're ending the conversation. If you say "over and out" you're clogging up the channel with useless chatter.

 

Sarge served in the Army Air Corps in WWI, though. He flew the Spruce Goose into combat with the Nazis. Comm etiquette was different, then. One was expected to be vigorous in all things, including being chatty on the comms, tra la la la la.

*laughs as Ender has a stroke over my many historical inaccuracies*

 

Actually, I say "over and out" to see who knows that it's wrong.

It depends. Seeya, Talk to you later, leave the money on the table on your way out, and to Darth Punk and only darth punk, I say "Rubber Dinghy Rapids." in the accent unique to east end London asians.

I'm often have a good (whatever time of day it is) or take care.

 

If I'm signing off the internet because I'm planning to go to bed, I often say, "I've gotta crash and burn." Other than that, it's all "bye" and "see ya." Very boring.
