Frell...they took the words right outta my mouth:
    "Dude, where's my batmobile?"

I don't know about you guys...but I think we all need to go over to the Tatooine Suns Saloon, and don't stop until the hurting stops!

I didn't even read the article and I guessed that it was one of 2 of the men of the hour, either Ashton Kutcher or Colin Farrell... most likely Ashton considering Don and Grn's responses. Turns out I was right. The sad part is, I guarantee both you two and a bunch of hardcore comic fans will still pay your $7.50 to see it. (I'm not saying I won't either, but I don't care, I like Ashton, although I think he'd be miscast as Bruce/Batman)

Oh yeah, I agree totally. Why Ashton? ?[face_plain] I'll never see him differently than Kelso in That '70s Show, being a complete dumba**, nor than goofing off in his own show on MTV. I really don't think he can carry a serious role.

This is great news for two groups of people: Anyone with stock in Marvel comics and friends/family of Val Kilmer.

Tuebor, good to see you on the boards...how ya been?

I like Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne (Clooney was the best balance between the 2 characters)...and Keaton just didn't work for me. But dude...I'd rather Keanu Reeves play Batman this this GUY!!!

That is wrong. It is just so wrong. And I'm not a big Batman fan.

Of course I'm waiting to see how badly they mess up League of Extraordinary Gentlemen this summer.

Ya, LXG will be screwed up...ONLY IF YOU HAVE READ THE COMIC BOOK! Other wise, I think it'll be decent, anything's better then the Hulk...

    I still think Keaton rocked.

Hulk rocked. I love hearing people rag on it. Means you didn't get it. A lot like Matrix Revolutions.

EDIT: As for LXG - since it was co-written by the creator of the comic book, I have faith that it will remain loyal to the comic as much as possible.

"COMIC POLICE! You can't say "'nuff said" when reffering to a non Marvel comic concept."

Sigh...much to learn about comic adaptations, you have..... ;)

EDIT: Ok, if were going to bash the Hulk...which I have a feeling after this posting we will, let's do it in another topic thread.

    Keaton? Keaton?!?!

Adam West is bar-none the best batman ever

    *recenters self in reality...

OK, Colin Farrel could be good... but this other hoser... (apologies to canadians for use of their word) well, i don't buy into the 'Keaton was a comic actor but "Mr. Mom" changed that...' argument. That's just lame...

Adam West was awesome. I loved the cheesy Batman show.

Of the movie Batmans, I'd have to go in the order of the movies...

    Keaton was best, then
    Kilmer, then
    Clooney

*sigh* why did "Doctor" Clooney have to sign a "Do Not Resuscitate" order for the Batman franchise??? way to kill it off, George...

Clooney did a horrible job. Yes. But if the DIRECTOR would have directed Clooney not to act like a dork, then it wouldn't have been so bad. Also, the script was a piece of poodoo. You can put all the special effects and star power around it - but it's still poodoo.
