That was a great game. Even I was watching... and not cheering for the usual team ;-)

A well earned medal indeed. :)

*does the crazy happy dance* That was a rockin' game, and I don't usually watch the Olympics. *dance dance dance*

On another note, did anyone watch the closing ceremonies? Was I the only one who found that dinosaur Donny and Marie Osmond thing really just...creepy?

I thought it was pretty lame, then they revealed Donnie and Marie, and it just went to pathetic.

I'm not big on the opening/closing ceremonies. I like seeing the atheletes come in and party and have reporters getting their reactions on things. Oh well, they are here to stay.

Overall, I thought these were pretty good games. Salt Lake City and even NBC wasn't nearly as patriotic/annoying, as they were in Atlanta. I was watching NBC's closing montage of athletes and they showed a fair number of international atheletes. Good Job.

On to Athens! I hope the time zone differences aren't too bad, I missed most of the Nagano and Sydeny games because the day was finishing as I was getting up to go to school.
